  • Effects of a novel mold inhibitor specifically for bamboo, on the properties of composite products have been confirmed in this study. The mechanical and dimensional stability properties of bamboo fiber-based composites (BFBCs) from different bamboo species were also investigated. The results showed that Burmanica Gamble possessed the highest values of modulus of elasticity (MOE) of 33.2 GPa, modulus of rupture (MOR) of 286.9 MPa, compressive strength of 182.6 MPa and shear strength of 24.0 MPa. By contrast, Phyllostochys heterocycla among all of species showed the lowest MOE of 16.3 GPa, MOR of 170.3 MPa and compressive strength of 128.9 MPa were the lowest among all of species. Moreover, there is a remarkable variation in the swelling and water absorption between the samples with 4 h and 28 h water immersion treatment, especially Phyllostachys iridenscens. Overall, the results suggested that TCIT (Tebuconazole and 3(2H)-isothiazolone) had no significant effect on the mechanical properties compared with the control condition, and it would be utilized as an antimould of BFBCs manufacturing.

  • Many applications, such as the lenses of mobile phones, involve complex 3D shapes. Delivering effective AR/AG surfaces in 3D is becoming an important challenge to the display industry. This paper shows how the combination of motheye structured AR hardcoats and In-Mold Decoration techniques can deliver this desirable functionality.

  • This paper gives a simulation study of a new fuzzy logic control(FLC) approach for the mold level control in continuous casting processes. The proposed FLC is PID type hybridizing the conventional fuzzy PI control and Fuzzy PD control with a simplified design scheme. It is shown that, compared with the conventional control, this new control strategy can achieve superior performance for steady-state response and is more robust against process parameter variations and disturbances.

  • Korea's automobile industry, which has grown rapidly to become the world's fifth-largest automobile producer, To cope with environmental pollution and energy problems in order to prevail competitive edge in global market We are investing a lot of research personnel and costs. Among them, for realizing alternative light weight It is a part of the automobile module system that has achieved the technological development before the breakthrough in the injection molding process in the press process. Door module PNL was the subject of research. The door module PNL is expected to cause warpage before the mold production due to the thin and flat product characteristics and fiber orientation characteristic of the material. In this paper, CAE analysis and reverse correction tool Design. CAE analysis to obtain the results of weld line position, bending position and deformation value Through the correction tool, think3, the original product was modified before the mold production to improve the completeness of the parts. In fiber orientation, the position and size of the cooling channel in the mold, the position and size of the gate, Temperature, pressure, time, and work environment. Compared with the result of CAE analysis, the product that was reverse-corrected by Think3 was manufactured, and injection molding was performed. Injection molding products were tested 24 hours later. 3.5 mm to 7.0 mm, and under the fixed condition, the deviation was from 1.1 mm to 1.5 mm. Unlike the CAE analysis, the deviation of the actual injection pressure and the cooling temperature, the fiber orientation of the material, In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to compare the injection conditions with the database, I knew I had to catch the standard.

  • Nanofabrication is an essential process throughout industry. Technologies that produce general nanofabrication, such as e-beam lithography, dip-pen lithography, DUV lithography, immersion lithography, and laser interference lithography, have drawbacks including complicated processes, low throughput, and high costs, whereas nano-transfer printing (nTP) is inexpensive, simple, and can produce patterns on non-plane substrates and multilayer structures. In general nTP, the coherency of gold-deposited stamps is strengthened by using SAM treatment on substrates, so the gold patterns are transferred from stamps to substrates. However, it is hard to apply to transfer other metallic materials, and the existing nTP process requires a complicated surface treatment. Therefore, it is necessary to simplify the nTP technology to obtain an easy and simple method for fabricating metal patterns. In this paper, asnTP process with poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) mold was proposed without any chemical treatment. At first, a PVA mold was duplicated from the master mold. Then, a Mo layer, with a thickness of 20 nm, was deposited on the PVA mold. The Mo deposited PVA mold was put on the Si wafer substrate, and nTP process progressed. After the nTP process, the PVA mold was removed using DI water, and transferred Mo nano patterns were characterized by a Scanning electron micrograph (SEM) and Energy Dispersive spectroscopy (EDS).

  • Drill process is usually used to manufacture a industry about processing, Therefore, the burr problem is very significant, The burrs took place when drill process. And then, sometimes, the burrs are often caused of some problems during automatic such as no good quality products and having good surface roughness products. And also, this paper had some experiments using magnesium. Specially, the magnesium is one of the non-ferromagnetic materials. Magnesium has attracted a lot of interest for using the industry. They offer a possible alternative to steel and aluminum in automotive and aero industries to satisfy the lightweight requirement. also, magnesium has good specific strength and absorbs vibration in occurring working process. So, it has good quality of product processing. And then, it is one of the lightest materials being used to electronic product's cases and automotive because of lightweight and miniaturization. But this material has not widely used all of the industry due to its natural property. If the magnesium is contacted water, it will cause the exploration. But, nowadays many of people study magnesium to safe their experiment and to widely use this industry.

  • Foam reaction injection molding (FRIM) is a widely used process for manufacturing polyurethane foam with complex shapes. The modified theoretical model for polyurethane foam forming reaction during FRIM process was established in our previous work. In this study, using the modified model, parametric study for FRIM process was performed in order to optimize experimental conditions of FRIM process such as initial temperature of mold, thickness of mold, and injection amount of polymerizing mixture. In addition, we applied the modified model to real application of refrigerator cabinet to determine optimal manufacturing conditions for polyurethane FRIM process.

  • This study was carried out to obtain the basic data for producing higher functional coating agents for pulp mold by evaluating various kinds of starch derivatives. At that time, four kinds of starch derivatives were manufactured for making coating agents respectively. Physical properties of coated paperboards were tested. Conclusions obtained from this results were as follows. The water and oil resistance of hydroxypropylated, cyanoethylated and carboxymethylated starch were high when degree of molar substitution(DS) of propylene oxide, acrylonitrile and sodium monochloroacetate were 0.18, 0.07 and 0.009, respectively. Also, the those of crosslinked starch were high when degree of crosslinking of epichlorohydrin was 0.02. Consequently, $8\%$ solution of carboxymethylated starch made with DS 0.009 of monochloroacetate was the best among coating agents from starch derivatives mentioned above.
