  • Through information hiding technique, secret message can be hidden in pictures. Stego-image quality and hiding capacity are two important metrics for information hiding. To enhance these metrics, many schemes were proposed by scholars in recent years. Some of them are effective and successful, but there is still a room for further improvement. A high capacity information hiding scheme (PAMO, Pixel-value Adjustment with Modulus Operation Algorithm) is introduced in this paper. PAMO scheme uses pixel value adjustment with modulus operation to hide confidential data in cover-image. PAMO scheme and some referenced schemes are implemented in Python and experiments are carried out to evaluate their performance. In the experiments, PAMO scheme shows better performance than other methods do. When secret message length is less than 72000 bits, the highest hiding capacity of PAMO can reach 7 bits per pixel, at the same time the PSNR of stego-images is greater than 30 dB.

  • A new blind equalization algorithm that is based on maximizing the probability that the constant modulus errors concentrate near zero is proposed. The cost function of the proposed algorithm is to maximize the probability that the equalizer output power is equal to the constant modulus of the transmitted symbols. Two blind information-theoretic learning (ITL) algorithms based on constant modulus error signals are also introduced: One for minimizing the Euclidean probability density function distance and the other for minimizing the constant modulus error entropy. The relations between the algorithms and their characteristics are investigated, and their performance is compared and analyzed through simulations in multi-path channel environments. The proposed algorithm has a lower computational complexity and a faster convergence speed than the other ITL algorithms that are based on a constant modulus error. The error samples of the proposed blind algorithm exhibit more concentrated density functions and superior error rate performance in severe multi-path channel environments when compared with the other algorithms.

  • MMA(Multi-Modulus Algorithm) is inferior at a initial equalization in high ISI(intersymbol interference), because it is the inaccurate decision. To improve this probel SMMA(Sliced Multi-Modulus Algorithm) is based on using the MCMA(Modified Constant Modulus Algorithm). SMMA is a improved capability than MMA in high SNR but is inaccurate decision in low SNR. In this paper, We propose some multi-modulus blind equalization algorithm scheme. It is a method of operation in some multi-modulus algorithm which does no obstruct a convergence property at the initial equalization in the low SNR. Proposed algorithm improves the steady-state performance. And it uses residual ISI of the equalizer output in order to decide the optimum switching time between the single modulus and the multi-modulus algorithm.

  • A prescaler is an essential building block for PLL-based frequency synthesizers and must satisfy high-speed and low-power characteristics. The design of D-flip flips used in the prescaler implementation is thus critical. In this paper a 64/65, 128/129 dual-modulus prescaler is designed using a $0.25{\mu}m$ CMOS process. In the design a new dynamic D-flip flop is employed, where glitches are minimized using discharge suppression scheme, speed is improved by making balanced propagation delay, and low power consumption is achieved by removing unnecessary discharge. The designed prescaler operates up to 2.5GHz and consumes 3.1mA at 2.5GHz operation.

  • The cavities formed by the excavation of coal seam cause unstable within rock body, leading to large displacement around adjacent roadway. This displacement brings the closure of roadway and deformation of support. Therefore, it is necessary to understand and predict the deformation characteristics of roadway while coal seam is under excavation. In this study, the observed displacements are compared with the calculated ones through the analysis using Linear Boundary Element Mothod under the elastostatic conditions, in order to determine the virgin stress state and deformation modulus which affect the deformation characteristices.

  • RSA-CRT is one of the commonly used techniques to speedup RSA operation. Since RSA-CRT performs its operations based on the modulus of two private primes, it is about four times faster than RSA. In RSA, the two primes are normally thrown away after generating the public key pair. However, in RSA-CRT, the two primes are directly used in RSA operations. This led to hardware fault attacks which can be used to factor the public modulus. The most common way to counter these attacks is based on error propagation. In these schemes, all the outputs of RSA are affected by the infected error which makes it difficult for an adversary to use the output to factor the public modulus. However, the error propagation has sequentialized the RSA operation. Moreover, these schemes have been found to be still vulnerable to hardware fault attacks. In this paper, we propose two new RSA-CRT schemes which are both resistant to hardware fault attack and support parallel execution: one uses common modulus and the other one perform operations in each prime modulus. Both proposed schemes takes about a time equal to two exponentiations to complete the RSA operation if parallel execution is fully used and can protect the two private primes from hardware fault attacks.

  • This paper compares the SE-MMA (Signed Error-MMA) and QE-MMA (Quantized Error-MMA) adaptive equalization algorithm in order to compensates the intersymbol interference due to channel in the transmission of spectral efficient nonconstant modulus signal such as 16-QAM. In the currently MMA adaptive equalizer, the error signal is needed for the updating the tap coefficient. The SE-MMA uses the polarity of error signal for reduce the computational operation in that process, the QE-MMA consider the this polarity and finite bit power-of-2 quantized component in that process, so they has different equalization performance. In order to comparing these performance, the computer simulation was performed in the same channel and environment, the output signal constellation of equalizer, residual isi and maximum distortion, MSE, SER were applied. As a result of computer simulation, the QE-MMA have more superior performance than the SE-MMA in every performance index.

  • In digital communication system that the Modified Constant Modulus Algorithm (MCMA) reduced the use of the adaptive equalization algorithm to combat the Inter-symbol Interference (ISI). MCMA is relatively brief operation. The major point of MCMA that it only achieves moderate convergence rate and steady state mean square error (MSE). In this paper suggest, MCMA equalization improve the performance with parallel structure. It combines Modified Constant Modulus Algorithm(MCMA) and Modified Decision Directed(MDD) algorithm. By exploiting the inherent structural relationship between the 4-QAM signal's coordinates and 16-QAM signal's coordinates, another style of cost function for Modified Constant Modulus Algorithm(MCMA) is defined and If it happen to offset of received signals and MCMA is poor performance in order to overcome this because the paper combines apply for MCMA and MDD(Modified Decision Direct) algorithm. By computer simulation, we confirmed that the proposed PMCMA-MDD algorithm has the fater convergence rate and steady mean square error than the conventional MCMA.
