The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyse the behavior patterns of the first and the repeated offenders in DWI, and to develope the models of BAC(Blood Alcohol Concentration) by using multiple regression analysis method and a model of repeated DWI conviction by using logistic regression analysis method. The main results are as follows. First, the repeated offenders are more in criminal and traffic accidents records than that of the first offenders. The unlicenced drivers are in higher BAC than licenced drivers. Second, multiple regression model of BAC was developed, and the model revealed that criminal records and driving distance were important factors. Third, a model of repeated DWI conviction was developed, and the model revealed that traffic accidents records, whether or not having licence, and criminal records were most important factors.

Building Information Modeling, and its associated work practices, requires project participants to share not only 3D geometric data, but also information in the model that may be considered proprietary and even trade secrets. Thus protection of intellectual property, or BIM copyrights, must be in place for participants to share proprietary information among project stakeholders. Currently Korea does not have adequate copyright laws or mechanisms to provide such protection. This research examined three BIM copyright legal documents, namely U.S.' ConsensusDOCS 301, AIA Document E203/G202, and U.K.'s CIC BIM Protocol to determine how copyright protection is realized, and to formulate appropriate stipulations within the Korean construction context. The resultant requirements include stipulating ownership at to the BIM originator, adopting a license-sublicense scheme, employing a federated model, and use of a formal model delivey table to allocate responsibilities. Given Korea's adoption stage, liability should be minimal, and license revocation should be allowed if payments are not met. The three BIM legal documents focus on practical measures that allow participants to customize requirements for individual projects, and such conventions should be emulated in Korea.
This study started with the need for transition to competency-based education as well as the witness of fast changes in fashion industry's job environment. The goals of this study were (1) to explore fashion designers' competencies that are necessary for a successful careers in global fashion industry, and (2) to establish fashion designer competency model. In-depth individual interviews were conducted with 15 participants who have charged for design department and moreover have shown high performance in national, licence or designer brands in Korea fashion industry. Grounded theory was adopted to analyze data. As a result of analysis, the 4 core competencies emerged: problem-solving, research, inter-personal, and self-development. Each core competency has sub-competencies. Creativity, commerciality, control, decision making were sub-competencies for the problem-solving competency. Information management, innovation understanding & application, trend analysis & forecasting were sub-competencies for the research competency. Consumer, inside company, and outside company relationships were sub-competencies for the inter-personal competency. Self-awareness, self-management, expertise were sub-competencies for the self-development competency. In order to acquire these competencies, knowledge (academic, practical, multi-discipline), skills (sense, analysis, synthesis, communication), and attitude (interest, enjoyment, perseverance, personality) were essential. Based on these findings, implications for university fashion design education and further research areas were suggested.

This study identified the factors that affect travel time budget by mode for traveler in Seoul using the SUR model. Individual, household and TAZ characteristics were selected as the explanatory variables. Transportation modes are summarized from 18 types to 6 types(walking, personal car, bus, subway, rail and bicycle). The results showed a distinct difference between personal transportation and public transportation. First of all, People who owned a car and driver's licence tend to prefer personal transportation. In addition, we can confirm the relationship between the bus and the subway which are most typical public transportation. Passengers who can available a personal mode preferred the subway than the bus. It is expected to suggest various implications related to the public transportation policy for Seoul metropolitan area.
To analyze the risk according to accident types by novice and experienced drivers, it is used the accidents data which occurred for 2 years(2005~2006) in Korea. It is defined that novice driver is a people who is not passed 1 year after getting a driving licence and experienced driver is a people who is passed 1 year in this study. It is used a risk model to compare and analyze about the risk between two groups. The risk model is developed to apply together two variables which is accidents frequency and severity. Then it is used a conceptual weight to find that proper rate between accident frequency and fatal accident frequency. It is found a weight($\omega=0.6$) to suitable value to apply a risk model. The results showed that collision with obstacles, angle collision($90^{\circ}$) types to novice driver group have bigger risk than experienced driver group.
After empirically investigating the vehicle accident risks by age groups, various programs and policies have been imposed to reduce the old's risks in other countries. In Korea, it is little known the risk level by age groups and no policy changes has been implemented even if the number of vehicle accidents occurred by the old has been rapidly rising while the total number of vehicle accidents has been decreasing. This study empirically investigates the vehicle accident risks by age groups and the results show that the old drivers over age 65 has the highest accident risk except for the young drivers below age 25. Thus, we emphasize the necessity of reinforcing the qualifications for reissuing the drive licence and programs for educating the old drivers in Korea which is facing the most rapid population aging in the world. On the other hand, various changes are needed reflecting the old drivers such as reforming the road signs, issuing a sticker and providing them incentives such that the old drivers use the public transportation instead of self-driving.

In this paper, a new fuzzy single layer learning algorithm is proposed, which shows improved learning time and convergence property than that of the conventional fuzzy single layer perceptron algorithms. First, we investigate the structure of physiological neurons of the nervous system and propose new neuron structures based on fuzzy logic. And by using the proposed fuzzy neuron structures, the model and learning algorithm of Physiological Fuzzy Single Layer Perceptron(P-FSLP) are proposed. For the evaluation of performance of the P-FSLP algorithm, we applied the conventional fuzzy single layer perceptron algorithms and the P-FSLP algorithm to three experiments including Exclusive OR problem, the 3-bit parity bit problem and the recognition of car licence plates, which is an application of image recognition, and evaluated the performance of the algorithms. The experimentation results showed that the proposed P-FSLP algorithm reduces the possibility of local minima more than the conventional fuzzy single layer perceptrons do, and enhances the time and convergence for learning. Furthermore, we found that the P-FSLP algorithm has the great capability for image recognition applications.
Means-Ends Network model was used to identify factors of means objective(means supplied by vendor) and fundamental objectives(purchasing motivations) for purchasing decision-making structure and dimensions of customer values on purchasers of internet shopping mall in Korea and China. In Means-Ends Network 6 factors(shopping travel, shipping assurance, vendor trust, online payment, product choice, and recommender systems) were found as a means objectives and 3 factors(shopping convenience, internet environment, customer support) as a fundamental objectives of shopping. However the results of hypotheses test for Means-Ends Network show some important differences between two countries. Something important to notice here is that Chinese customers shopping in China recognize shipping assurance factor and vendor trust factor as important factors satisfying all fundamental objectives unlike as in the case of our country. As these two factors are attribution factors responsible to the sellers, it is identified that customers do not trust the sellers and sellers have not met the expectations of customers. Therefore, these results show that the seller efforts assuring the reliability of the seller themselves, such as conducting its own compensation scheme are more important rather than the establishment of the guarantee institution to guarantee reliability and delivery assurance of sellers and implementation of legal and institutional apparatus such as the settlement of e-commerce licence system. Though this study presents such an important marketing implications, it can be pointed out that the limits are this research was done on the general Internet shopping malls without considering the Internet shopping mall types of diversity, the survey was designed around the student samples for convenience of the investigation because it was an international survey and the collected data has been limited to the western coast cities, such as China's Beijing, Shanghai, and Dalian.
Electronic information, especially e-journals took their position as core resources in current scholarly communication. However, the publishing and pricing structure of e-journal licensing process have not yet succeeded to be reorganized in accord with newly changed electronic scholarly communication environment. That resulted in a lot of challenges scholarly communication now faced. This study aimed to analyze key issues regarding big deal, pricing, licensing, archiving, copyright and public access by conducting comprehensive literature review and examining movements of world wide scholarly institutes and alliances. And then this study eventually purposed to draw some strategies which domestic libraries and consortia should take in order to lead current changes in scholarly communication.
The purpose of this study was to seek a workable alternative to replace a big deal related to the journal budget for the maintenance of academic libraries with the largest issue on the E-journal consortium. The contents of this study was to present it. It had examined the current situation, strengths, weaknesses and corresponding to replace the big deal contract. After reviewing the literature, we looked into the alternative activities for the big deal such as open access-based, usage-based, consortium improvement-based, publishers lead, and other models. As a result, the 'consortium cost reapportion model' was an alternative for the KESLI. The alternative was in the short term for cost division format, but long-term oriented for a consortium single(bloc) payment type or national licence model. The model was based on the data from the last year. It had evaluated download the PDF and HTML documents, but the three times weighting more than others, and the rest of 14 factors of 0.5 to 5 out of 100 total score. The total amount negotiated by national units 10, 20 and 30 grades for the final step was allocated to the participating library on the KESLI consortium.
