This study investigated the effect of strain on hole mobility and hole effective mass in a p-channel rectangular nanowire with two-dimensional confinement. We obtained the valence energy band structure using the six-band k.p method and calculated the mobility and effective mass of the hole in the [100] direction taking the strain effect into account in the inversion region. The hole mobility of strained silicon was calculated using Kubo-Greenwood formalism. As a result, it showed good performance compared to relaxed silicon, but its magnitude was insignificant.
Mobility reduction parameters are extracted using a method based on the exploitatiion of Id-Vg and Gm-Vg characteristics of short channel n-MOSFETs in strong inversion region at room temperature. It is found that the reduction of the maximum field effect mobility, \ulcornerFE,max, with the channel length is due to i) the difference between the threshold voltage and the gate voltage which corresponds to the maximum transconductance, and ii) the channel length dependence of the mobility attenuation coefficient, \ulcorner The low field mobility, \ulcorner, is found to be independent of the channel length down to 0.25 \ulcorner ofeffective channel length. Also, the channel length reduction, -I, the mobility attenuation coefficient, \ulcorner the threshold voltage, Vt, and the source-drain resistance, Rsd, are determined from the Id-Vg and -gm-Vg characteristics n-MOSFETs.
Operation modes and control strategies for single-phase mobility charging station utilizing photovoltaic (PV) generation and energy storage systems (ESS) are proposed. This approach generates electric power from PV to transmit the mobility, ESS, and then transfer it to the grid when surplus electric power is generated during daytime. However, the PV power cannot be generated during night-time, and ESS and the mobility system can be charged using grid power. The power balance control based on power fluctuations and the resonant current control that can compensate harmonic components have been added to increase the stability of the system. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation was carried out to verify the proposed control method, and the 2-kW single-phase grid-tied PV-ESS smart mobility charger was built and tested.
This study was performed to investigate the effects of tooth mobility and design of the direct retainer on the stress of supporting tissues in distal extension removable partial denture. Tooth mobility was simulated and four different types of direct retainer such as Alters clasp, I-bar clasp, wrought wire clasp, and Dalbo attachment were designed and stress on the support-ing tissues were measured and analyzed with straingauge method. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. The stress revealed at the lingual side of alveolar bone of the abutment tooth in edentulous area was the largest. 2. The stress at the lingual side of alveolar bone of the abutment tooth in edentulous area was increased according to the increase of tooth mobility in I-bar clasp and Dalbo attachment. 3. The stress at the residual ridge crest was the great in Dalbo attachment on mobility 0, in I-bar clasp on mobility 1, and in wrought wire clasp on mobility 2. 4. There was little changes of stress according to the increase of tooth mobility at buccal and lingual side of the residual ridge crest and around the abutment teeth in dentulous area.
Of several approaches for future Internet, separating two properties of IP address into locator and identifier, is being considered as a highly likely solution. IETF's LISP (Locator ID Separation Protocol) is proposed for this architecture. In particular, the LISP model easily allows for device mobility through simple update of information at MS (Mapping Server) without a separate protocol. In recent years, some of the models supporting device mobility using such LISP attributes have emerged; however, most of them have the limitation for seamless mobility support due to the frequent MS information updates and the time required for the updates. In this paper, PMIPv6 (Proxy Mobile IPv6) model is applied for mobility support in LISP model. PMIPv6 is a method that can support mobility based on network without the help of device; thus, this we define anew the behavior of functional modules (LMA, MAG and MS) to fit this model to the LISP environment and present specifically procedures of device registration, data transfer, route optimization and handover. In addition, our approach improves the communication performance using three tunnels identified with locators between mobile node and corresponding node and using a route optimized tunnel between MN's MAG and CN's MAG. Finally, it allows for seamless mobility by designing a sophisticated handover procedure.
Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of the thoracic mobility exercise program on pain, proprioception, and static balance ability in patients with non-specific chronic low back pain. Design: Randomized controlled trial design. Methods: Thirty patients with non-specific chronic low back pain participated in this study. The participants were randomized into the thoracic mobility exercise group (n=15) and the lumbar stabilization exercise group (n=15). Both groups received traditional physical therapy for 30 minutes per session. In addition, the thoracic mobility exercise group and the lumbar stabilization exercise group each exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. All participants were measured visual analog scale, proprioception test, and static balance ability before and after the intervention. Results: After 6 weeks of interventions, the thoracic mobility exercise group showed greater improvement in visual analog scale, proprioception test, and static balance ability than the LSE group (p<0.05). Further, the thoracic mobility exercise group had significant Enhancements in all measured variables compared to the baselinetest (p<0.05). However, the lumbar stabilization exercise group had significant improvement only visual analog scale, and static balance ability compared to the baselinetest (p<0.05). Conclusions: Our investigation demonstrates that the thoracic mobility exercise is an effective intervention method for improving pain, proprioception, and static balance ability in patients with non-specific chronic low back pain.
The aim of this research is to classify the concept expressed in the mobility of la diff${\acute{e}}$rant play, and supplement logic, which is process of the changeability of fashion style. The specific research questions are as follows: first question deals with the relationship between changeability and la diff${\acute{e}}$rant images, and how la diff${\acute{e}}$rant images are divided by each phase and how their circumduction play is proceeded. The second question is about the important features of the mobility of la diff${\acute{e}}$rant play and the method of la diff${\acute{e}}$rance play. The last topic of this study covers the supplement logic and the condition, and how supplement logic has been applied in the process of changeability of fashion style. This paper deploys a qualitative research method providing a systematic review of the previous studies. To sum it up, the mobility of la diff${\acute{e}}$rant play is the root of power, which is controlling the changeability of fashion style, and the objective of the play is to outline new la diff${\acute{e}}$rant images through spatialization of time. In addition, supplement logicis the method of la diff${\acute{e}}$rant play and the purpose of the logic is to harmonize 'ultimate la diff${\acute{e}}$rant image', which is the phenomenological construction stratum in the state of sub-conscious changeability, and 'immediate la diff${\acute{e}}$rant image', which is the structural construction level stratum in the state of external changeability. This research proves that the intrinsic attribute of changeability is contained the mobility of la diff${\acute{e}}$rant play and supplement logic.
