  • Mobile network infrastructure is being completed with the development of hardware and software for mobile devices. Network in mobile devices has evolved for telematics that is expanded much more than its existing concept. Telematics is compound word that is formed from the words "telecommunication" and "informatics". It means that telematics performs control and monitoring service with using mobile device resources. These services provide their services for users' requests through wired or wireless network from mobile devices and server that offers contents and network service collects management information of mobile devices. Map service is one of the preferred services for many telematics users. However, mobile map service has a limit between traffic and information sharing. Therefore it is very important to supply their information for both service provider and terminal user. In this paper, we design a new interactive sketch map using routes and information on the space to be applied effectively, and provide an extended document format that is defined to an extensible and dynamic clustering scheme to have portability map service for mobile device.

  • On the limited urban area meteorological data are hard to be collected because of the cost problem. The facilities collecting the data require high installment cost. Recently, the sensor network technique comes to the fore as a solution. Furthermore a mobile phone also becomes to be recognized as a sensor. This paper studies an application to service the meteorological map using mobile phone sensor. A design results for system implementation are introduced in this paper.

  • Recently, mobile banking service comes into the spotlight in the mobile environment. Considering design theory, this empirical study focuses on understanding the characteristics of mobile banking and measuring the priority of IT composition elements organizing the mobile banking service. That is, by empirically analyzing affecting factors of mobile service acceptance as an aspect of customer, this study would like to understand important factors of mobile banking use. The result of study will be used to strategic decision making for the company providing mobile banking service and great help to reinvigorate mobile banking service.

  • Purpose In recent years, mobile payment service users have been rapidly increasing. Previous researchers focused on the mobile usage situation such as the elements of mobile payment service, usage pattern, and user behaviors, and the research that is approached from the viewpoint of the user is still insufficient. The aim of this study is to suggest a acceptance-resistance motivation model of choosing a mobile payment service based on the Herzbergs Two-Factor Theory by investigating users' motivation and hygiene factors. Design/methodology/approach For the purpose, literature reviews on factors of choosing a mobile payment service were conducted and classified motivation and hygiene factors. Two hypotheses were set as follows: Hypothesis I is that motivation factors have a positive impact on the choice of mobile payment service, and Hypothesis II is that hygiene factors have a negative impact on the choice of mobile payment service. To test two hypotheses, this study conducted an online questionnaire survey and a multivariate discriminant analysis. Findings The result found that mobile payment service is more likely to be replaced with mobile by improving convenience, simplicity, and ease of use that affect the acceptance motivation of mobile payment service. This result supported the Hypothesis I but not Hypothesis II and contributed to provide implications for future mobile payment service development and marketing utilization.

  • 모바일시대로 접어들면서 음원시장 역시 폭발적으로 성장하였다. 최근 기존의 Mp3 음원 다운로드 시장은 점차 스트리밍서비스로 옮겨가는 추세이고 번거로운 다운로드와 제한적인 저장용량에 상관없이 무한대의 음원을 인터넷이 연결된 곳 어디서나 이용이 가능하다. 모바일 음악스트리밍서비스에 대한 사용자행태 리서치 결과 주로 추천음악, 인스턴트재생, 메인플레이어 그리고 공유하기를 주로 사용하는 것으로 조사되었다. 이는 모바일음악스트리밍서비스의 중요한 특징이자 기존 다운로드서비스와 차별화되는 요소라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 기존 다운로드서비스의 UI디자인을 그대로 답습하고 있으며 스트리밍서비스에 특화된 UI디자인이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 이에 대해 상위 음악스트리밍서비스 3사 모바일앱의 GUI에 대한 사용성평가를 진행하였다. 결과 벅스와 네이버뮤직이 추천음악, 인스턴트재생, 메인플레이어 및 공유하기에서 전반적으로 높은 평가를 받았으며 멜론의 경우 다른 서비스에 비해 낮은 결과를 보였으나 색상 적용에서는 타사 앱보다 높은 평가를 받았다. 본 연구는 사용자행태를 기반으로 스트리밍서비스에 대한 본질적 기능을 파악하고 이에 대한 UI디자인의 사용성을 평가하여 스트리밍서비스의 UI디자인 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service. Improvement of Mobile U-health Service System Using Feces and Urine Sensing U-Care Scheme

  • This paper presents a novel method to design and implement mobile u-health system by defining the essential elements of mobile healthcare services. We choose common service elements for the proposed u-healthcare scheme and design the service platform. Especially we focus on automatic feces or urine sensing u-care scheme to prove the effectiveness of our platform. We construct the system with sensing part with a manikin and a diaper, wireless communication part with feces or urine sensing data, and coordinator system based on the u-health platform defined in this paper. Experimental results show that our scheme is useful in the area of u-care service for the handicapped, the elderly, and patients who can hardly move by themselves. In addition the designed scheme offers a realized u-care scheme with the purpose of advanced developing tools for application or service developers.

차세대 이동통신 컨버전스 서비스 모델 개발 프레임워크 (Design Framework for Next Generation Mobile Convergence Service Models)

  • It is expected that the next generation mobile communication system will be a service-driven developed system capable to realize the human-centric mobile convergence services. and it is different from the technology-driven development approach of the second and the third generation mobile communication systems. As a preliminary research work on such service-driven system development approach for the next generation mobile communication system. we developed the scenario based service analysis process (2SAP) framework to derive core service technologies and functionalities. In this paper. we propose the next generation mobile convergence service business model creation methodology based on research results of the 2SAP framework. To achieve this goal, we first establish a service model contains several components such as infrastructures. operations. and provision of services that are indispensible for providing next generation mobile services. Then, the next generation mobile services and its corresponding business models can be created by adding service and value flows to the developed service model after defining necessary components of business model including actors, their relationships, and roles.
