Purpose The purpose of the study is to identify the need of a mobile based library information and service delivery system in developing countries, identify the services that are possible to provide with the help of mobile phones and their applications, design a mobile based library information and service delivery system, and identify major challenges regarding mobile based library information and service delivery systems.Design/ Methodology/ Approach The research is exploratory in nature. This paper is based on a review of literature, survey information, and on the author’s own viewpoints. A comprehensive search of scientific literature has been done along with a survey for validating the necessity of designing mobile based library information and service delivery systems. Responses to closed-ended questions in particular on 7-point Likert scales were analyzed using the descriptive analysis techniques of SPSS 20.0 and responses to other closed-ended questions were analyzed using general statistics.Findings The research indicates that users of academic libraries, especially students and faculty members, have a positive notion regarding designing and implementing a mobile based library information and service delivery system. It also reveals user opinions regarding the possible problems associated with the design and implementation of a mobile based library information and service delivery system.Originality The paper explores mobile based library information and service delivery systems for better and faster service provision to its potential users.

Having information is most important at the present age. Internet is main source of obtaining information and mobile telecommunication let people communicate each other without any time and space limitation. Recently, advanced technology in telecommunication makes two-way service possible. So, the mobile internet service combined internet with mobile telecommunication is widely and rapidly promoted. Therefore user can transmit and receive a lot of information without time and space restriction using various application technologies. This paper deals with machinery that makes human do office work conveniently in vehicle using mobile internet service. Namely, it tries to design mobile internet machinery combining of wireless payment, GPS module, mobile internet, and mobile office etc. And that can transmit and receive e-mail or documents etc. This machinery has various objects, and design process has complexity. To reduce trial error and processing complexity, Axiomatic Design Method is used to design the machinery.

A mobile computing environment has many difference in character from conventional communication over wired network. These include very presents distributed design system based the mobile agent for mobile computing environment. To integrate design resource, we presented ISA(Integration Service Agent, which allows a designer to build integrated application using distributed resources, and to collaborative by exchanging service. Also we propose ICM(XML based Intelligent Connection Manger) using mobile agent. And suggested new intelligent data and process transfer architecture using ICM to implement an agent based design system in mobile environment.

In this study, the concept of autonomous mobility is applied to a gait support mobile robot. The aim of the development of the service robot is to assist the elderly with gait rehabilitation. This study proposes an ergonomic service robot design parameter. The gait assistant path pattern is derived from analysis of the elderly gait. A lever is installed in the AMR in order to measure both the pulling force and the leading force of the elderly. The path generation of the mobile robot is developed through consideration and analysis of elderly gait patterns. The ergonomic design parameters (dimensions, action scope and working space) are determined based on moving scope of the elderly. The gait assistant mobile robot was offered the elderly guide service and internet service based on the ergonomic design parameters.

본 논문은 Diameter 기반 AAA 시스템에서 Mobile-lP 응용과 연동하는 선불 서비스의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 기술하였다. 선불 서비스 기능은 Diameter의 Credit-Control 응용에 기반 하였으며, Credit-Control 응용은 기존의 RADIUS 과금 방식이나 Diameter 베이스 프로토콜의 과금 방식이 지원하지 않는 선불 과금 서비스를 제공하기 위한 응용 기능이다. 실시간 선불 서비스 기능은 실시간 서비스 비용 결정과 서비스를 제공하기 위한 사용자의 계정 잔액 확인 절차 등과 같은 추가의 기능들을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 추가의 기능들을 지원할 수 있도록, Mobile-lP 응용 서비스인 Diameter Mobile-lP 응용과 연동하는 Diameter Credit-Control 응용의 설계와 구현에 대하여 기술한다.

이 연구는 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스의 불법 유해방송 근절을 목적으로 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스의 특성과 불법 유해정보의 특성을 분석하고 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스상의 불법 유해방송 실태를 고려한 근절 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 1차로 문헌 연구를 통하여 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스와 불법 유해방송에 대해 고찰하고 2차로 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스의 불법 유해방송 실태와 인식 및 대응방안에 대해 설문조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스의 불법 유해방송 노출 빈도가 높으며 불법 유해방송 노출이 사용자의 자의보다 실시간 방송이라는 특성에서 비롯한 원인이 큰 것임을 확인했다. 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스의 불법 유해 정보를 근절하기 위해서는 서비스의 불법 유해방송 자체의 신고체계 정비도 필요하지만 정부의 규제 방안 마련에 대한 요구사항을 확인했다. 향후 미시적인 관점에서 모바일 라이브 스트리밍 서비스의 불법 유해정보 근절에 관해 연구가 필요할 것이다.

The location-based service is one of the most powerful services in the mobile area. The location-based service provides information service for moving user's location information and information service using wire / wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a model for personalized recommendation system which includes location information and personalized recommendation system for location-based service. For this service system, we consider mobile clients that have a limited resource and low bandwidth. Because it is difficult to input the words at mobile device, we must deliberate it when we design the interface of system. We design and implement the personalized recommendation system for location-based services(advertisement, discount news, and event information) that support user's needs and location information. As a result, it can be used to design the other location-based service systems related to user's location information in mobile environment. In this case, we need to establish formal definition of moving objects and their temporal pattern.

모바일 폰은 단순히 전화라는 커뮤니케이션 수단의 역할 뿐 아니라 웹, 멀티미디어, 카메라 등의 정보 가전과 융합하면서 일상생활의 주요 정보 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 하고 있으며, 이러한 모바일 폰의 위상에 따라 다양한 서비스와 인터렉션들이 개발되어 현재에 이르고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 모바일 폰의 발전 방향 아래서 다양한 사용자의 정보 서비스 요구에 따른 맞춤 서비스 디자인을 개발하고자 하였으며, 업무상 모바일 사용 비중이 높은 영업직 종사자들을 위한 모바일 업무 지원 서비스를 연구하였다. 연구의 방법은 영업직 및 이와 유사하게 대인 커뮤니케이션 비중이 높은 업무에 종사하는 비즈니스맨을 대상으로 Contextual Inquiry Interview 기법을 활용하여 관찰 및 인터뷰를 실시하고 이 결과를 분석하여 사용자들의 니즈와 현행 모바일 사용상의 문제점들을 도출하고 모바일 사용 효율을 높여줄 수 있는 서비스 컨셉을 도출하였으며, 이를 구현하기 위한 화면 설계와 인터렉션 디자인, GUI 디자인을 수행하였다. 연구의 결과로 영업직 사용자들의 즉흥적 정보 처리 요구와 정보의 연계성을 높여주는 포스트 위젯 서비스와 인맥 관리 및 정보 검색의 유연성을 제공하는 메모리 박스 서비스를 제안하였다. 이들은 최근 주목받고 있는 모바일 플랫폼 모델인 터치폰을 위한 위젯 서비스의 형태로 구현되었다.

This paper presents a novel method to design and implement mobile u-health system by defining the essential elements of mobile healthcare services. We choose common service elements for the proposed u-healthcare scheme and design the service platform. Especially we focus on automatic feces or urine sensing u-care scheme to prove the effectiveness of our platform. We construct the system with sensing part with a manikin and a diaper wireless communication part with feces or urine sensing data, and coordinator system based on the u-health platform defined in this paper. Experimental results show that our scheme is useful in the area of u-care service for the handicapped, the elderly, and patients who can hardly move by themselves. In addition the designed scheme offers a realized u-care scheme with the purpose of advanced developing tools for application or service developers.
