This paper predicts how mobile Internet portal services will go ahead and what contents will be needed at the portal site. Mobile Internet interface needs to be concise and compressed because of the size of terminals Thus mobile internal service wants integrated portal service We study the service strategy for mobile internet portal Service according to the product life cycle Many Korean people who have used 'wired and fixed' Internet services and mobile phones want the mobile Internet portal to provide many attractive functions and high quality of service Thus we consider the current Korean mobile Internet service as the maturity phase of its life cycle The maturity phase needs the strategy of diversifying and focusing on, thus we recommend the hub portal model for Korean mobile Internet service, In this paper, we survey contents of mobile Internet portal service as a case study. With the result of the analysis, we present the promising contents as follows: video conference service, financial service, stock trading service, traffic information service, location map service, emergency rescue service, and so on.

Due to the expansion of non-face-to-face services, the demand for user identification for mobile devices is increasing. Recently, mobile resident registration cards, mobile driver's licenses, etc. are installed in mobile phones and used for user identification and authentication services. In order to identify a user online, unique identification information of the online user is required. In particular, in order to provide information only to online users, it is necessary to accurately deliver information to a mobile device owned by the user. To make this service possible, it was realized with the advent of mobile electronic notice service. However, the identification of online service users and information on mobile devices owned or subscribed by the relevant users require safe management as personal information, and it is also necessary to increase the convenience of online service users. In this paper, we propose an operating standard for providing a mobile electronic notice service that sends electronic notice using a mobile device owned by the user. The mobile electronic notice service is a service that provides notices expressed in electronic information to the recipient's cell phone, mobile app, e-mail, etc. Therefore, as the use of mobile electronic notification service increases and the provision and use of connecting information to identify users increases, it is necessary to expand the mobile electronic notification service while safely protecting users' personal information.

The existing wired emergency call such as 119, 112 have its own location information to serving immediate rescue service. For the case of wireless emergency call by mobile phone, the location information should be provided by wireless network. This paper describes the network architecture and protocol for mobile emergency service referring TIAlEWJ-SID-036-A with reviews about technical issues, legacy factors and related researches. The mobile emergency service is divided into mobile emergency rescue service and mobile emergency alert service. The network reference model for mobile emergency rescue service is released in KOREA. In this paper, the interfaces between elements of the network reference model, and service scenarios, message flows are defined. Supplement to mobile emergency rescue service, the network reference model, interfaces and message flows for mobile emergency alert service are developed. The protocol is described by DID, and the proposed works are on processing for domestic standard of TTA.

Since 1999, mobile internet service has been increasing rapidly. According to the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of the Republic of Korea, the size of mobile service market is forecasted to be valued at approximately 10.5 trillion won in 2007. For this reason, many mobile service providers have adopted customer-centered strategy for the successful business in the mobile internet services. Thus, this research examines the rations of service quality, user satisfaction, and additional use intentions with 88 users (male and female) of mobile internet service using structural equation model (SEM). The result shows that there is a difference between male and female using mobile internet service regarding the quality factors of mobile internet service. This study provides some guidelines for the successful strategic planning of customer-centered mobile internet services in gender.

Mobile Internet Service has been accelerated in ubiquitous computing environment. A two-dimensional framework using level of timeliness and service purpose is utilized for classifying mobile internet service. Future trends of mobile internet service are carefully suggested.

Purpose The purpose of the study is to identify the need of a mobile based library information and service delivery system in developing countries, identify the services that are possible to provide with the help of mobile phones and their applications, design a mobile based library information and service delivery system, and identify major challenges regarding mobile based library information and service delivery systems.Design/ Methodology/ Approach The research is exploratory in nature. This paper is based on a review of literature, survey information, and on the author’s own viewpoints. A comprehensive search of scientific literature has been done along with a survey for validating the necessity of designing mobile based library information and service delivery systems. Responses to closed-ended questions in particular on 7-point Likert scales were analyzed using the descriptive analysis techniques of SPSS 20.0 and responses to other closed-ended questions were analyzed using general statistics.Findings The research indicates that users of academic libraries, especially students and faculty members, have a positive notion regarding designing and implementing a mobile based library information and service delivery system. It also reveals user opinions regarding the possible problems associated with the design and implementation of a mobile based library information and service delivery system.Originality The paper explores mobile based library information and service delivery systems for better and faster service provision to its potential users.

Purpose In recent years, mobile payment service users have been rapidly increasing. Previous researchers focused on the mobile usage situation such as the elements of mobile payment service, usage pattern, and user behaviors, and the research that is approached from the viewpoint of the user is still insufficient. The aim of this study is to suggest a acceptance-resistance motivation model of choosing a mobile payment service based on the Herzbergs Two-Factor Theory by investigating users' motivation and hygiene factors. Design/methodology/approach For the purpose, literature reviews on factors of choosing a mobile payment service were conducted and classified motivation and hygiene factors. Two hypotheses were set as follows: Hypothesis I is that motivation factors have a positive impact on the choice of mobile payment service, and Hypothesis II is that hygiene factors have a negative impact on the choice of mobile payment service. To test two hypotheses, this study conducted an online questionnaire survey and a multivariate discriminant analysis. Findings The result found that mobile payment service is more likely to be replaced with mobile by improving convenience, simplicity, and ease of use that affect the acceptance motivation of mobile payment service. This result supported the Hypothesis I but not Hypothesis II and contributed to provide implications for future mobile payment service development and marketing utilization.

This study investigates empirically on the business analysis of fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service. As for the stage of empirical analysis, the process was carried out in the order elaboration of a test model, selection of sample, empirical analysis and interpretation of result. We report our Preliminary results on the fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service demand pattern forecasting by Bass model. The results show that the fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service may sustain profitability over the next ten years in the market. In conclusion, the practical implication of the result attained by this study is that in order to create a fixed mobile convergence in the korean business world, practical tools such as WiBro service is no less important than fixed service and Mobile service, and that users may be rightfully encouraged to adopt WiBro service.

Mobile network infrastructure is being completed with the development of hardware and software for mobile devices. Network in mobile devices has evolved for telematics that is expanded much more than its existing concept. Telematics is compound word that is formed from the words "telecommunication" and "informatics". It means that telematics performs control and monitoring service with using mobile device resources. These services provide their services for users' requests through wired or wireless network from mobile devices and server that offers contents and network service collects management information of mobile devices. Map service is one of the preferred services for many telematics users. However, mobile map service has a limit between traffic and information sharing. Therefore it is very important to supply their information for both service provider and terminal user. In this paper, we design a new interactive sketch map using routes and information on the space to be applied effectively, and provide an extended document format that is defined to an extensible and dynamic clustering scheme to have portability map service for mobile device.
