Current Status of Mobile Commerce Research (모바일 상거래 연구의 최근 동향)

  • 최근 수년간 모바일 상거래는 점점 더 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. 그것은 도달성과 이동성이라는 점에서 전자상거래에 비해 강점을 지니고 있어 모바일 상거래는 주목받는 이슈가 되었다. 모바일 상거래의 현황을 검토하고 미래를 조망한 문헌을 연구해 보는 것은 흥미로운 시도이다. 이 연구는 Varshney and Vetter(2002)와 Ngai and Gunasekaran(2007)가 제시한 분류기준을 참조하되 세부내용을 일부 수정하여 모바일 상거래의 이론과 연구, 모바일 상거래의 애플리케이션과 사례, 무선 사용자 인프라스트럭처, 모바일 미들웨어, 무선 네트워크 인프라스트럭처 등 5가지 대분류기준에 따라 선행연구들을 검토하였다. 여기에는 최근 부각되는 모바일러닝, 모바일라이브러리, M-CRM과 M-SCM 같은 주제도 포함하였다. 연구결과 많은 논문들이 모바일 상거래의 이론과 연구 그리고 모바일 상거래의 애플리케이션과 사례를 다루고 있었다. 그리고 모바일 상거래의 성공은 서로 다른 애플리케이션의 강점과 필요한 기술을 잘 수용한 결과라는 점을 보여주었다. 마지막으로 모바일 상거래의 현황과 미래 방향에 관한 함의를 기술하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 자바 모바일 플랫폼을 기반으로 하는 M-Commerce 보안 플랫폼을 검토하고, J2ME 기반 CLDC와 MIDP를 이용해서 M-Commerce 전자지불을 위한 휴대용 전자지갑 구현방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방안은 무선 인터넷 환경에서 신용카드 결제 방식으로 지불할 경우 관련 중요 정보를 안전하게 전송하고, 대금 결제를 할 수 있도록 한다. 그리고, 무선인터넷 응용프로토콜 WAP 방식의 보안을 고려한 WTLS 보안 메커니즘을 이용하고, J2ME 기술을 기반으로 하기 때문에 향후 IMT2000에서도 사용 가능하다.

  • Mobile Services are that function of information system are served in mobile environment. So, Success model for the mobile services might be derived through mixing success model of information system with mobile attributes. There are many kinds of mobile services. Specially, commerce, communication entertainment and information services are representative types in mobile services. In this paper, we do not only derive important factors that influence success of mobile services, but also analyze how the factors influence the success of mobile services. We also analyze whether measures of the factors might differ significantly among the types of mobile services.

  • In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service.   • Augmented multimedia is a technology to provide additional informations to mobile devices when multimedia contents like video, audio and images are being played. Person Wide Web, PWW, is a scheme for acquiring a link and browsing a corresponding web pages on mobile devices, in which the link is attached any object and space in real world. In this paper we proposed an augmented multimedia E-commerce application system based on PWW scheme which can browse additional informations from video play on public spaces, and implemented on Microsoft Silverlight platform. We showed that the proposed system can support effectively the augmented multimedia E-commerce.

Use Intention of Mobile Fingerprint Payment between UTAUT and DOI in China

  • Purpose - With the rapid growth of Chinese mobile pay market, it's necessary to run a study of the aims why users prefer to intention of use for mobile fingerprint payment. To reach this goal, UTAUT added Perceived Security and DOI. Research design, data, and methodology - The researchers conducted this study by using collected 3126 responses and the collected data was analyzed by applying statistical techniques factor analysis, AMOS, and Cronbach's Alpha and SPSS 22.0. Results - The result shows that compatibility and relative advantage of mobile fingerprint payment have positive effect on performance expectancy and effort expectancy separately, and the performance expectancy and effort expectancy have positive effect on people's use intention of mobile fingerprint payment. Social influence has a positive effect on the users' use intention of mobile fingerprint payment, Facilitating conditions has a slight effect on the users' use intention of mobile fingerprint payment, Perceived security has the most significant effect on he users' use intention of mobile fingerprint payment. Conclusions - The research showed that compatibility is one of the most important elements that make users continue to use the product. The mobile fingerprint payment must own clearer advantages than other ones that it can reach the biggest market. The Social Influence has a positive influence on the intention of use.

Investigating the Value of Information in Mobile Commerce: A Text Mining Approach

  • The proliferation of mobile applications and the unique characteristics of the mobile environment have attracted significant research interest in understanding customers' purchasing behaviors in mobile commerce. In this study, we extend customer value theory by combining the predictors of product performance with customer value framework to investigate how in-store information creates value for customers and influences mobile application downloads. Using a data set collected from the Google Application Store, we find that customers value both text and non-text information when they make downloading decisions. We apply latent semantic analysis techniques to analyze customer reviews and product descriptions in the mobile application store and determine the embedded valuable information. Results show that, for mobile applications, price, number of raters, and helpful information in customer reviews and product descriptions significantly affect the number of downloads. Conversely, average rating does not work in the mobile environment. This study contributes to the literature by revealing the role of in-store information in mobile application downloads and by providing application developers with useful guidance about increasing application downloads by improving in-store information management.

  • In this paper, we developed digital TV commerce system using mobile device for multimedia service. This system combines TV and mobile device, and enables a TV viewer to purchase and download the multimedia contents such as songs and video programs onto the mobile devices instantly when the viewer watches the contents. Our system is different from the conventional TV commerce system in the sense that it combines digital TV and mobile device for better service, and the contents such as songs, videos and games are downloaded directly to the devices. Furthermore, our system's data flow is designed for utilizing cheaper network to save costs. We implemented this new service system, and in this paper, we describe the service in detail, comparing with conventional TV commerce system, and we present the architecture and preliminary implementation of the proposed system.
