모바일 커머스의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on Behavior Intention for Mobile Commerce)

  • Mobile commerce is defined as any direct or indirect transaction conducted and facilitated through a wireless telecommunication network such as payment, ticketing, auction and mobile banking. Despite the importance of mobile commerce, there have not been so many academic studies on the unique characteristics of mobile commerce environments. In this study, our research model is developed based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the user's technology acceptance process in mobile commerce environment. The factors, such as ubiquity, compatibility, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, security, attitude and behavior intention for mobile commerce were selected from pier study in information systems area. The data for empirical analysis of the research model is collected online-questionnaire of 167 mobile commerce users in South Korea. The hypotheses were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The results of our study show that: (1) compatibility, perceived usefulness and security had influences on the attitude whereas perceived ease of use and cost did not have any significant impact on the attitude, (2) compatibility influenced perceived usefulness whereas perceived ease of use did not, and finally (3) ubiquity, perceived usefulness and attitude had considerable influences on intention for mobile commerce. Therefore, practitioners should focus on enhancing security, quality of contents and services as well as offering what mobile commerce users want. The results of this study may useful for academicians and practitioners alike.

모바일뱅킹에서 개인혁신성의 조절효과 (Moderating Effects of Personal Innovativeness in Mobile Banking Service)

  • 모바일뱅킹은 빠르게 성장하고있으며 은행서비스의 많은 부분이 모바일뱅킹에서 제공되고 있다. 하지만, 모바일뱅킹을 사용자들이 수용하는데 개인의 혁신성이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 불행히도 모바일뱅킹은 그 특성상 제한된 화면을 사용자들이 사용하기가 용이하지 않다. 본 연구는 개인혁신성(PI)의 관점에서 모바일뱅킹을 수용하는데 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히고 자하였다. 특히 다른 정보시스템에서 많이 사용된 지각된 유용성(USF) 및 사용의 용이성(EOU) 변수뿐만 아니라 지각된 즐거움(ENJ)의 요인을 추가하여 모바일뱅킹 수용에서 영향요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 336명의 모바일뱅킹의 사용자들에게 설문을 실시하였으며, 응답자들을 두 그룹(개인 혁신성이 높은 그룹과 낮은 그룹)으로 분류하여 구조방정식모형에서 집단간차이를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 개인 혁신성(PI) 모바일뱅킹 수용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 세부적으로 분석해 보면 개인혁신성이 높은 그룹이 낮은 그룹 보다 더 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 특히, 사용의도와 사용의 유용성 그리고 지각된 즐거움 사이의 경로계수 값의 크기가 개인혁신성이 높은 그룹이 낮은 그룹보다 높았다. 여기서 지각된 즐거움의 경우 개인 혁신성이 높은 그룹이 낮은 그룹 보다 더 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 연구의 결과는 모바일뱅킹 서비스의 성장과 확대에 실무적으로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 분석된다.

Using Choice-Based Conjoint Analysis to Determine Smartphone Choice - a Student's Perspective

  • The ability of smartphones to facilitate various services like mobile banking, e-commerce and mobile payments has made them part of consumers' lives. Conjoint analysis (CA) is a marketing research approach used to assess how consumers' preferences for products or services develop. The potential applications of CA are numerous in consumer electronics, banking and insurance services, job selection and workplace loyalty, consumer packaged goods, and travel and tourism. Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC) analysis is the most commonly used CA approach in marketing research. The purpose of this study is to utilise CBC analysis to investigate the relative importance of smartphone attributes that influence consumer smartphone preference. An experiment was designed using Sawtooth CBC Software. 326 students attempted the online survey. Utility values were derived by Hierarchical Bayes (HB) estimation and used to explain consumers' smartphone preferences. All the six attributes used for the study were found to significantly influence smartphone preference. Smartphone brand was the most important, followed by the price, camera, RAM, battery life, and storage. This study is one of the first to use Sawtooth CBC analysis to assess consumer smartphone preference based on the six attributes. We provide implications for the development of new smartphones based on attributes.

An Investigation of Behavioral Intention Towards QR Code Payment in Bangkok, Thailand

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting Thai commercial bank users' behavioral intention towards QR code payment system via mobile banking applications. The researchers conducted the study based on quantitative research approach. Non-probability sampling method such as the quota and convenience sampling was applied as sampling technique. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed. The data was collected from 1,800 respondents living in Bangkok, who have had an experience with QR code payment system with the top-three mobile banking applications in Thailand. This study concentrates on confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling as a statistical tool to examine the data, model accuracy, and influence of critical variables. In addition, the researchers applied the first-order and second-order techniques to examine the relationship between constructs. Adoption readiness and perceived risk were second-order constructs. The results reveled that compatibility has an impact on attitude towards QR code payment. Moreover, adoption readiness, compatibility, attitude, and personal innovativeness are statistically significant that impact behavioral intention towards QR code payment. The strongest antecedents of behavioral intention were compatibility, attitude, adoption readiness, and personal innovativeness, respectively. Surprisingly, perceived risk and perceived trust do not statistically have a significant impact on behavioral intention towards QR code payment.

  • OVO is a digital platform that provides simple payments and smart financial services, as well as one of the largest digital payment platforms in Indonesia. It has wide coverage and security when making payments, and supports multiple settlement currencies. The purpose of this study is to explore the history, business model, and future strategic direction of OVO, an Indonesian e-wallet. To date, OVO has built its own mobile payment ecosystem covering a wide range of consumer scenarios including e-commerce, travel, offline shopping and finance. And it supports mobile banking, online banking, debit cards or selected partner merchants. Its three largest transaction categories are in the transportation, retail and e-commerce sectors. With over 110 million consumers and 1.3 million merchant users, it is one of the dominant e-wallets in Indonesian market and has become the country's e-payment market leader. OVO eWallet's 'One Card' model offers convenience and choice for users, thus contributing to the rapid growth of OVO eWallet. And OVO eWallet competes fiercely with other competitors, but OVO eWallet continues to grow in terms of the number of users and market share. Finally, this study analyzes the strategic goals and plans of OVO eWallet, predicts its future direction. OVO eWallet has a huge success, but there are still competition and challenges to face.

HW기반 스마트 단말 보안 핵심기술 구현 (Security Core Technology Implementation for Hardware-based Smart Devices)

  • 최근 들어, 스마트 단말에서 지불, 인터넷 뱅킹 등 금융업무와 관련된 중요한 정보들을 다루는 경우가 많아졌다. 또한 스마트 단말의 실행환경이 공개 소프트웨어 환경 위주로 발전하면서, 사용자들이 임의의 응용소프트웨어를 다운받아 사용하는 것이 용이하게 됨에 따라, 스마트 단말이 보안적 측면에서 취약하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어 기반의 스마트 단말 보안 기술의 특징을 알아본다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 스마트 단말 에서 실행되는 응용프로그램을 위한 MTM 하드웨어기반의 안전한 스마트 단말 실행환경에 대한 구현방법을 제안한다. 기존의 MTM 이 모바일 장치에 대한 신뢰의 근원 기능만을 제공한 반면, 본 논문에서 제시하는 MTM 기반 모바일 보안 환경은 모바일 장치에서 실행되는 응용프로그램이 필요로 하는 다양한 보안 기능을 제공할 수 있다. 향후, 보안 하드웨어와 연동이 가능한 IoT 기기와 게이트웨이 보안 기술, 그리고 보안 하드웨어를 활용하여 다양한 IoT 기기에 적용하여 신뢰성과 보안성을 확보하는 방안에 대한 연구를 진행할 예정이다.

Adoption of Mobile Peer-to-Peer Payment: Enabling Role of Substitution and Social Aspects

  • Despite the growing amount of mobile peer-to-peer (P2P) payment applications available on mobile app stores, these applications are still in their infancy and have yet to see mass adoption. This study aims to explore the factors that influence the adoption of such mobile P2P payment applications by using a large-scale data set based on the tracking of users' actual mobile application usage behavior. Our main findings reveal that the duration of each session that users use of traditional bank application has a significant relationship with their adoption of mobile P2P payment applications. In addition, we explore the social aspect of such mobile P2P payment applications by analyzing their social network applications usage and found that the amount of social network service applications used and usage duration positively impacted one's adoption of mobile P2P payment applications. These findings have important theoretical and practical implications for stakeholders of mobile P2P payment solution providers as well as intermediaries/banks who provide their own payment applications to their customers.

  • 스마트폰은 휴대용 컴퓨터로서 자리매김하고 있다. 이에 따라 가장 민감한 금융 응용 서비스조차 스마트폰을 통해 언제 어디서나 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 스마트폰은 일반 PC에 비해 무선인터넷, 이동통신망을 비롯하여 블루투스, NFC 등 근거리 통신망 등 다양한 경로를 통하여 외부와 통신하고 있으며 매우 다양한 앱이 제공되고 있어 취약점이 존재할 경우, 공격의 피해가 발생할 가능성이 높아진다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 물리적 제약점이 있는 스마트폰의 은행앱에서 로그인에 사용되는 동적 가상키보드의 취약점에 대하여 분석하고, 그 대응방안을 제시한다.

Mobile Smishing 해킹 동향 분석 및 보안대책 (Analysis of Mobile Smishing Hacking Trends and Security Measures)

  • 스마트폰 태블릿 PC와 같은 모바일 장치를 이용하여 인터넷뱅킹과 전자상거래는 물론 본인의 업무까지 처리하고 있다. 모바일 기기의 가용성과 편리성은 높아가고 있지만, SNS나 문자 이메일을 이용한 Smishing 금융사기사건과 개인정보유출 등 범죄사건도 많이 발생하고 있다. 스마트폰에서 Smishing 사고는 2013년부터 급격하게 증가되어 MERS 감염 사건, 지뢰도발 사건, 추석의 택배 등의 사회공학적 방법을 이용하여 교묘하게 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2014년 이후의 모바일 장치에서의 Smishing 해킹 동향을 분석한다. 사회적 이슈와 관련하여, 모바일 사용자들에게 금융사기로 이어지는 Smishing 해킹 공격의 프로세스를 분석한다. 그리고, Mobile Smishing 해킹에 대한 보안 방법과 금융 피해의 대책을 제시한다.

Hierarchical Structured Multi-agent for Distributed Databases in Location Based Services

  • Location management is very important in location-based services to provide services to the mobile users like banking, city guides and many more. Ubiquitous and mobile devices are the source of data in location management and its significant operations are update and search method. Some studies to improve these were presented by using optimal sequential paging, location area scheme and hierarchical database scheme. In addition, not all location services have the same access methods on data and it lead to difficulties of providing services. A proposed location management of multi-agent architecture is presented in this study. It shows the coordination of the agents on the distributed database of location-based services. The proposal focuses on the location management of the mobile object presented in a hierarchical search and update. Also, it uses a nearest neighbor technique for efficient search method of mobile objects.
