This paper proposes a system recommending spatial information what user wants with collecting and analyzing tweets around the user's location by using the GPS information acquired in mobile. This system has built an emotion dictionary and then derive the recommendation score of morphological analyzed tweets to provide not just simple information but recommendation through the emotion analysis information. The system also calculates distance between the recommended tweets and user's latitude-longitude coordinates and the results showed the close order. This paper evaluates the result of the emotion analysis in a total of 10 areas with two keyword 'Restaurants' and 'Performance.' In the result, the number of tweets containing the words positive or negative are 122 of the total 210. In addition, 65 tweets classified as positive or negative by analyzing emotions after a morphological analysis and only 46 tweets contained the meaning of the positive or negative actually. This result shows the system detected tweets containing the emotional element with recall of 38% and performed emotion analysis with precision of 71%.

Recently, users want to use real-time multimedia services, such as internet, VoIP, etc., using their IEEE 802.11 wireless lan mobile stations. In order to provide such services, a handoff among access points is essential to support the mobility of a node, in such an wide area. However, the legacy handoff methods of IEEE 802.11 technology are easy to lose connections. Also, the recognition of a disconnection and channel re-searching time make the major delay of the next AP to connect. In addition, because IEEE 802.11 decides the selection of an AP depending only on received signal strength, regardless of a node direction, position, etc., it cannot guarantee a stable bandwidth for communication. Therefore, in order to provide a real-time multimedia service, a node must reduce the disconnection time and needs an appropriate algorithm to support a sufficient communication bandwidth. In this paper, we suggest an algorithm which predicts a handoff point of a moving node by using GPS location information, and guarantees a high transmission bandwidth according to the signal strength and the distance. We implemented the suggested algorithm, and confirmed the superiority of our algorithm by reducing around 3.7ms of the layer-2 disconnection time, and guaranteed 24.8% of the communication bandwidth.
In mobile environments, the locations of moving objects such as vehicles, airplanes and users of wireless devices continuously change over time. For efficiently processing moving object information, the database system should be able to deal with large volume of data, and manage indexing efficiently. However, previous research on indexing method mainly focused on query performance, and did not pay attention to update operation for moving objects. In this paper, we propose a novel moving object indexing method, named ACAR-Tree. For processing efficiently frequently updating of moving object location information as well as query performance, the proposed method is based on fixed grid structure with auxiliary R-Tree. This hybrid structure is able to overcome the poor update performance of R-Tree which is caused by reorganizing of R-Tree. Also, the proposed method is able to efficiently deal with skewed-. or gaussian distribution of data using auxiliary R-Tree. The experimental results using various data size and distribution of data show that the proposed method has reduced the size of index and improve the update and query performance compared with R-Tree indexing method.

In this research, we aim to analyze the trend of Huawei's PCT patent applications. As a result of analyzing Huawei's PCT patents by dividing temporal spans into three periods - the early 2000s, the late 2000s, and the early 2010s -, the following characteristics have been observed. First, the number of PCT patent applications has conspicuously increased from the early 2000s to the late 2000s and this trend has continued during the early 2010s. Second, in terms of a core technological field, whereas Huawei focused on the development of technologies in the 'H04L: transmission of digital information' sector during the early/late 2000s, it changed this field to the 'H04W: wireless communication networks' sector during the early 2010s. Lastly, in the case of the patent maps, it was found that while general communications technologies, as expressed with such keywords as 'user' and 'network,' were actively developed during the early/late 2000s, mobile phone-related technologies grasped this leading position, as shown with the keywords including 'user equipment,' 'base station,' and 'MME,' during the early 2010s. It was also noticeable that Huawei filed LTE-related patent applications more actively than Apple and Samsung Electronics, which implies that it will presumably pioneer the global market more aggressively than its competitors in the future.
The proliferation of online social networking services (OSNSs) and smartphones has enabled people to easily make friends with a large number of users in the online communities, and interact with each other. This leads to an increase in the usage rate of OSNSs. However, individuals who have immersed into their digital lives, prioritizing the virtual world against the real one, become more and more isolated in the physical world. Thus, their socialization processes that are undertaken only through lots of face-to-face interactions and trial-and-errors are apt to be neglected via 'Add Friend' kind of functions in OSNSs. In this paper, we present a friend recommendation system based on the on/off-line contextual information for the OSNS users to have more serendipitous offline interactions. In order to accomplish this, we modeled both offline information (i.e., place visit history) collected from a user's smartphone on a 3D tensor, and online social data (i.e., friend relationships) from Facebook on a matrix. We then recommended like-minded people and encouraged their offline interactions. We evaluated the users' satisfaction based on a real-world dataset collected from 43 users (12 on-campus users and 31 users randomly selected from Facebook friends of on-campus users).

This study examined current status and futurity of libraries based on the survey of librarians awareness in the era of the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution and sought to find effective response strategies for future changes. For this purpose, this study reviewed research issues against the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution based on preceding researches in our library area and other fields. The awareness survey was conducted of librarians of several types including national libraries and public libraries. The results are as follows: First, librarians were interested in the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution, but they thought that new technologies are poorly adopted in their libraries. Second, librarians were most frequently using Desktop PCs, mobile phones, RFID tags, and QR codes for library services. Third, librarians were required intelligent-information services because of their effectiveness, but their libraries did not provide them for users. Fourth, librarians expected that the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution brings positive influences to libraries' future. On the other hands, they also concerned about their job losses. Fifth, librarians agreed with necessity of new technologies of the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution and they especially wanted educations and training related with technologies. Also, technical supports for online services and simply repeated works are required.
Recently, Korea's cultural content industry is developing, and behind the growing recognition around the world is the real-time sharing service of global network users due to the development of science and technology. In particular, in the case of YouTube, its propagation power is fast and powerful in that everyone, not limited users, can become potential video providers. As more than 80% of mobile phone users are using YouTube in Korea, YouTube's information means that psychological factors of users are reflected. For example, information such as the number of video views, likes, and comments of a channel with a specific personality shows a measure of the channel's personality interest. This is highly related to the fact that information such as the frequency of keyword search on portal sites is closely related to the stock market economically and psychologically. Therefore, in this study, YouTube information from a representative entertainment company is collected through a crawling algorithm and analyzed for the causal relationship with major variables related to stock prices. This study is considered meaningful in that it conducted research by combining cultural content, IT, and financial fields in accordance with the era of the fourth industry.

In this paper, the current problems of logistics industry in Korea and their possible solutions were discussed. With Korea Telecoms KT-Logis, the supplier and demander of logistics service would not have to invest large sum of money into their computer system. All they need is just a computer with internet connected. What KT-Logis influence on the logistics industry are the following; 1. Many logistics service supplier and demander can do the business on the web with one computer system. 2. This web based computer system does not only work on the office but also apply on the field worker such as delivery personnel or even the forwarder with mobile phone. 3. KT-Logis is an integrated system which cover the broad arrange of logistics management from truck management to customer relations management. 4. Finally, KT-Logis is web based systems which suits for current e-business and mobile environment. In future, more studies should be done to develop more progressive integrated logistics information systems with enterprise resource planning(ERP) and supply chain management(SCM).

Efforts have been made to introduce the climate smart agriculture (CSA) for adaptation to future climate conditions, which would require collection and management of site specific meteorological data. The objectives of this study were to identify requirements for construction of agricultural meteorology information service system (AMISS) using technologies that lead to the fourth industrial revolution, e.g., internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. The IoT sensors that require low cost and low operating current would be useful to organize wireless sensor network (WSN) for collection and analysis of weather measurement data, which would help assessment of productivity for an agricultural ecosystem. It would be recommended to extend the spatial extent of the WSN to a rural community, which would benefit a greater number of farms. It is preferred to create the big data for agricultural meteorology in order to produce and evaluate the site specific data in rural areas. The digital climate map can be improved using artificial intelligence such as deep neural networks. Furthermore, cloud computing and fog computing would help reduce costs and enhance the user experience of the AMISS. In addition, it would be advantageous to combine environmental data and farm management data, e.g., price data for the produce of interest. It would also be needed to develop a mobile application whose user interface could meet the needs of stakeholders. These fourth industrial revolution technologies would facilitate the development of the AMISS and wide application of the CSA.
The advent of 5G mobile communications, which is expected in 2020, will provide many services such as Internet of Things (IoT) and vehicle-to-infra/vehicle/nomadic (V2X) communication. There are many requirements to realizing these services: reduced latency, high data rate and reliability, and real-time service. In particular, a high level of reliability and delay sensitivity with an increased data rate are very important for M2M, IoT, and Factory 4.0. Around the world, 5G standardization organizations have considered these services and grouped them to finally derive the technical requirements and service scenarios. The first scenario is broadcast services that use a high data rate for multiple cases of sporting events or emergencies. The second scenario is as support for e-Health, car reliability, etc.; the third scenario is related to VR games with delay sensitivity and real-time techniques. Recently, these groups have been forming agreements on the requirements for such scenarios and the target level. Various techniques are being studied to satisfy such requirements and are being discussed in the context of software-defined networking (SDN) as the next-generation network architecture. SDN is being used to standardize ONF and basically refers to a structure that separates signals for the control plane from the packets for the data plane. One of the best examples for low latency and high reliability is an intelligent traffic system (ITS) using V2X. Because a car passes a small cell of the 5G network very rapidly, the messages to be delivered in the event of an emergency have to be transported in a very short time. This is a typical example requiring high delay sensitivity. 5G has to support a high reliability and delay sensitivity requirements for V2X in the field of traffic control. For these reasons, V2X is a major application of critical delay. V2X (vehicle-to-infra/vehicle/nomadic) represents all types of communication methods applicable to road and vehicles. It refers to a connected or networked vehicle. V2X can be divided into three kinds of communications. First is the communication between a vehicle and infrastructure (vehicle-to-infrastructure; V2I). Second is the communication between a vehicle and another vehicle (vehicle-to-vehicle; V2V). Third is the communication between a vehicle and mobile equipment (vehicle-to-nomadic devices; V2N). This will be added in the future in various fields. Because the SDN structure is under consideration as the next-generation network architecture, the SDN architecture is significant. However, the centralized architecture of SDN can be considered as an unfavorable structure for delay-sensitive services because a centralized architecture is needed to communicate with many nodes and provide processing power. Therefore, in the case of emergency V2X communications, delay-related control functions require a tree supporting structure. For such a scenario, the architecture of the network processing the vehicle information is a major variable affecting delay. Because it is difficult to meet the desired level of delay sensitivity with a typical fully centralized SDN structure, research on the optimal size of an SDN for processing information is needed. This study examined the SDN architecture considering the V2X emergency delay requirements of a 5G network in the worst-case scenario and performed a system-level simulation on the speed of the car, radius, and cell tier to derive a range of cells for information transfer in SDN network. In the simulation, because 5G provides a sufficiently high data rate, the information for neighboring vehicle support to the car was assumed to be without errors. Furthermore, the 5G small cell was assumed to have a cell radius of 50-100 m, and the maximum speed of the vehicle was considered to be 30-200 km/h in order to examine the network architecture to minimize the delay.
