모바일 병원정보시스템 사용성에 대한 실증연구 (A Case Study of a Mobile Hospital Information System Usability)

  • This study is a proposal of quality scale and measurement for the Mobile Hospital Information System Usability used to the Chungnam National University Hospital in Daejeon Korea. This study is to provide decision- making guideline for hospital managers and to provide feedback for the users' information needs in Mobile Hospital Information System. The target people of the study were medical doctors in Chungnam National University Hospital. The service contexts of usability were request of medical Care, Vital sign check of Patient, Care Agreement of Patient, Blood management, Check of care state, Sign of choice doctors, Query of doctor order and patient measurement result. The Usability factors were the efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction of quality model ISO9241-11. This study shows that the Mobile HIS is used for the communication and education between doctor and patients. Especially, The Care Agreement of Patient is a part of the most utilized in the Mobile HIS.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the deployment characteristics of korean and foreign mobile hospitals and to draw out the advantages and disadvantages based on the movement of patients. Methods: The arrangement and user movement lines of foreign mobile hospitals which were actually utilized, and the arrangements and user movement lines of korean mobile hospitals are compared and analyzed. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, we suggest the optimal placement of mobile hospital in Korea. Results: The recently developed Korean mobile hospitals have made many improvements. However, there is no practical use case for the mobile hospital in Korea, so it is necessary to establish the basis for the mobile hospital development site and the site access considerations. In addition, there is no detailed analysis of the movement of the administrators other than the medical staff, and it is considered that research on safe waste disposal is further needed. Implications: It is highly likely to be used as a basic data to find out the combination method of mobile hospitals that can efficiently deal with disasters through the arrangement and movement analysis of mobile hospitals in Korea and abroad.

병원 모바일 앱 서비스 품질이 소비자 만족, 관여도, 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Hospital Mobile App Service Quality on Consumer Satisfaction, Involvement, and Reuse Intention)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify the influence of the hospital mobile app service quality on consumer satisfaction, involvement, and re-use intention of consumers who have experience in hospital mobile app service. Methodology: The survey was conducted on 230 users. The collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and the Process Model in Hayes(2013). Findings: (1)The usability, reliability, and medical information provision among the service quality factors of hospital mobile apps had an effect on reuse intention, and consumer satisfaction partially mediated. (2)The usability and the provision of medical information were partially mediated by the involvement, which also affected the intention to reuse. (3)Only reliability showed an age-moderated effect. In reliability and re-use intent, age was a moderated mediating effect that controlled the effect of consumer satisfaction. Practical Implications: The results of this study provide initial data of mobile app services centered on hospitals and prove the type of consumer usage. It suggests that it can be used to attract potential consumers of hospitals and strategies to increase the use of mobile apps.

Usefulness of Mobile Computed Tomography in Patients with Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pneumonia: A Case Series

  • The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak has reached global pandemic status as announced by the World Health Organization, which currently recommends reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) as the standard diagnostic tool. However, although the RT-PCR test results may be found negative, there are cases that are found positive for COVID-19 pneumonia on computed tomography (CT) scan. CT is also useful in assessing the severity of COVID-19 pneumonia. When clinicians desire a CT scan of a patient with COVID-19 to monitor treatment response, a safe method for patient transport is necessary. To address the engagement of medical resources necessary to transport a patient with COVID-19, our institution has implemented the use of mobile CT. Therefore, we report two cases of COVID-19 pneumonia evaluated by using mobile cone-beam CT. Although mobile cone-beam CT had some limitations regarding its image quality such as scatter noise, motion and streak artifacts, and limited field of view compared with conventional multi-detector CT, both cases had acceptable image quality to establish the diagnosis of COVID-19 pneumonia. We report the usefulness of mobile cone-beam CT in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia.

고정 무선네트워크 공간 내에서의 무선노드 이동시 데이터 전송률 (Data transfer Rate of the Wireless Node Moving in the Static Wireless Network Space)

  • 본 논문은 LEACH-Mobile를 사용하여 병원에서 환자들의 위치와 센서 데이터의 지속적인 수집을 시뮬레이션 하고자 한다. LEACH-Mobile(: Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy)은 기존의 LEACH프로토콜에서 mobile노드를 추가하여 이동성을 향상시킨 프로토콜이다. LEACH-Mobile은 LEACH에서 이동성이 개선되었지만, 기존 LEACH보다 소모되는 에너지의 양이 더 많다. 여기서 LEACH-Mobile을 사용하는 이유는 병원의 모니터링시스템은 대체적으로 cctv나 간호사들의 주기적인 확인으로 이루어진다. 하지만 대부분의 병원은 환자수에 비해 간호사의 수가 적다. 그렇기에 간호사가 보지 못한 사이에, cctv의 사각에서 일어나는 사고에 환자가 다칠 가능성이 있다. 그래서 위치와 센서 데이터를 5개의 상황으로 지속적으로 수집하는 시뮬레이션을 하였고, 그 결과는 병원에서의 환자들의 동선 관리를 보다 효율적으로 하였다.

종합병원 진단용방사선장비의 고장유형 분석 (Studies on Failure Kind Analysis of the Radiologic Medical Equipment in General Hospital)

  • This paper included a data analysis of the unit of medical devices using mainternance recording card that had medical devices of unit failure mode, hospital of failure mode and MTBF. The results of the analysis were as follows : 1. Medical devices of unit failure mode was the highest in QC/PM such A hospital as 33.9%, B hospital 30.9%, C hospital 30.3%, second degree was the Electrical and Electronic failure such A hospital as 23.5%, B hospital 25.3%, C hospital 28%, third degree was mechanical failure such A hospital as 19.5%, B hospital 22.5%, C hospital 25.4%. 2. Hospital of failure mode was the highest in Mobile X-ray device(A hospital 62.5%, B hospital 69.5%, C hospital 37.4%), and was the lowest in Sono devices(A hospital 16.76%, B hospital 8.4%, C hospital 7%). 3. Mean time between failures(MTBT) was the highest in SONO devices and was the lowest in Mobile X-ray devices which have 200 - 400 failure hours. 4. Anverage failure ratio was the highest in Mobile X-ray devices(A hospital 31.3%, B hospital 34.8%, C hospital 18.7%), and was the lowest in Sono(Ultrasound) devices (A hospital 8.4%, B hospital 4.2%, C hospital 3.5%). 5. Failure ratio results of medical devices according to QC/PM part of unit failure mode were as follows ; A hospital was the highest part of QC/PM (50%) in Mamo X-ray device and was the lowest part of QC/PM(26.4%) in Castro X-ray. B hospital was the highest part of QC/PM(56%) in Mobile X-ray device, and the lowest part of QC/PM(12%) in Gastro X-ray. C hospital was the highest part of QC/PM(60%) in R/F X-ray device, and the lowest a part of QC/PM(21%) in Universal X-ray. It was found that the units responsible for most failure decreased by systematic management. We made the preventive maintenance schedule focusing on adjustement of operating and dust removal.

병원모바일앱 품질요인이 이용자의 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향: 정보시스템성공모형과 기대일치모형의 통합적 접근 (The Effect of Hospital Mobile App Quality Factors on Users ' Continuous Use Intention: An Integrated Approach of Information Systems Success and Expectation-Confirmation Models)

  • 정보통신기술 기반의 '스마트병원'과 '디지털 헬스케어'가 의료분야의 화두가 되면서 병원모바일앱이 주목받고 있지만, 홍보 부족, 불안정한 시스템, 늦은 업데이트 등의 이유로 이용률은 저조한 편이다. 이러한 상황에서 병원모바일앱의 이용률을 높이기 위한 체계적인 연구가 필요하지만, 관련 연구는 다소 부족한 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 기술적 관점의 정보시스템성공모형과 인지적 관점의 기대일치모형을 통합하여, 병원모바일앱 지속이용의도에 대한 영향 메커니즘을 실증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 병원모바일앱 이용 경험이 있는 국내 성인 181명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 구조방정식모형 분석 결과, 대부분의 품질요인이 기대일치와 인지된 유용성 및 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 기대일치는 인지된 유용성과 만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 인지된 유용성과 만족도는 병원모바일앱의 지속이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 사실을 밝혀냈다. 본 연구는 기대일치모형과 정보시스템성공모형을 통합하여 의료분야, 그 가운데에서도 이용률이 저조한 병원모바일앱 사용 맥락에 적용한 연구라는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 연구결과를 통해 병원모바일앱의 이용률 증대 및 효과적·효율적인 서비스 운영을 위한 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

진료의 편의성과 병원 접근성 증진을 위한 스마트 어플리케이션 콘텐츠의 질적 분석 (Quality Analysis of Smart Application Contents for the Convenience of Care and Hospital Access)

  • Purposes: The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the contents of hospital reservation and reception applications(apps) are qualitatively useful in meeting the needs of medical consumers and improving hospital accessibility and convenience. Methodology: (1) identify consumer needs through social data web mining, (2) describe the status of key contents of mobile apps to improve accessibility and convenience of care, and (3) verify the quality of apps through validated tools Finding: The contents of 'mobile reservation function' and 'waiting time information provision' that can contribute to reduction of delay time of care and efficiency of desk work were supported, but the level of utilization was insufficient. The quality level of the app, including the level of consumers' needs, has shown a wide gap between the apps. Implications: The recent development of mobile apps for hospital accessibility and consumer needs has shown a wide gap in the quality of apps, including information and aesthetic. Therefore, it is necessary to develop apps based on user interface(UI), user experience(UX) based designs that can promote the usefulness and convenience of apps while monitoring needs of consumers continuously.

모바일 진료예약을 위한 Web 2.0 기술 연구 (A study on Web 2.0 Technology for Mobile Medical Online Appointment)

  • 국내 병원들은 u-Hospital 서비스 구현을 위한 진료예약시스템을 구축, 운영하고 있고, 운영되고 있는 시스템의 대부분은 웹 기반의 방식을 사용하고 있다. 최근 등장하고 있는 Web 2.0 기술은 웹 방식에 있어서 편리한 UI 구조 제공, 빠른 응답서비스 등의 장점을 가지고 웹 영역의 많은 부분을 변화시켜 나가고 있다. 이 기술은 웹 영역을 넘어 모바일 영역에서 일부 응용이 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Web 2.0 기술을 적용하여 모바일 진료예약 시스템을 구축하였다. 이 시스템은 기존의 모바일 및 웹 기술에 비해 적은 페이지 뷰와 빠른 로딩속도로 인해 사용자의 편리성 및 응답속도를 개선하였고 성능실험을 통해 이를 증명하였다.

Comparison of Teaching about Breast Cancer via Mobile or Traditional Learning Methods in Gynecology Residents

  • Introduction: Mobile learning enables users to interact with educational resources while in variable locations. Medical students in residency positions need to assimilate considerable knowledge besides their practical training and we therefore aimed to evaluate the impact of using short message service via cell phone as a learning tool in residents of Obstetrics and Gynecology in our hospital. Methods: We sent short messages including data about breast cancer to the cell phones of 25 residents of gynecology and obstetrics and asked them to study a well-designed booklet containing another set of information about the disease in the same period. The rate of learning derived from the two methods was compared by pre- and post-tests and self-satisfaction assessed by a relevant questionnaire at the end of the program. Results: The mobile learning method had a significantly better effect on learning and created more interest in the subject. Conclusion: Learning via receiving SMS can be an effective and appealing method of knowledge acquisition in higher levels of education.
