  • This study focused on design and implementation of Mobile 3D Bluetooth Engine based on OpenGL-ES. In Mobile 3D network game so far, there is a form the mainstream of wireless internet game using WAP and VM. But, VM game are popular because of an excessive communication expense problem for this mobile network game that occur when connect to wireless internet as point out to problem by it, that is, stand-alone game are very popular. This study introduce a mobile 3D Bluetooth Engine which is based on mobile 3D standard using OpenGL-ES to solve a mobile network game generally that occurs when connect to take pleasure a wireless internet from some people into a short distance.

  • The paradigm of mobile game contents move from 2D to 3D due to the development of the recent mobile technology and the change of the market environment. Therefore the game manufacturers are concerned about them but the game is developed in the 3D solution manufacturers which have high technology and some major CP and the game is served through the mobile telecommunication companies. Almost of the small CP in Korea ·also judge the mobile 3D game as a next source of benefit so they prepare the development of the mobile 3D game in the future value in market and the industry survival strategy but the game has defects. They take more developing hours and cost than the 2D game and the lack of manpower for the development and the information. Therefore, in this study, we researched the manufacturing environment being the optimization of mobile environment and developing process of 3D game in order to grope for overcoming different these circumstances.

  • The game engine has executed an application after making a mobile 3D game engine which is based on mobile 3D standard graphic API using openGL-ES so far. But, We could not do it satisfactorily that contents compatibility of various types as a various low-level's function is supported. At this point, This study introduce a mobile 3D game engine which is based on mobile 3D standard graphic API using JSR-184 that supporting a high-level's API more than openGL-ES and optimizing to Java environment on J2ME in the center of GSM phone. Also, We shows that the proposed skinned-mesh scheme for enhancing the process speed of a 3D object on JSR-184 engine. The experimental results are shown.

  • Game and Animation are considered as two different fields. The definition of animation is 'moving picture' and game is a kind of animation which can be controlled by users. Actually, many principles of animation are applied to the production of games, and are even more emphasized in the mobile game contents which are becoming popular these days because of the characteristics of mobile devices such as small screen size. In this paper, we study on the application of the 12 principles of animation through the making of a mobile 3D game called 'Fly to the music' and that game is going to be serviced in late 2006 by SK Telecom. Moreover, we studied the differences between 3d mobile game animation and ordinary animation.

  • This study focuses on modeling mobile 3D game engine and suggesting modified skinned-mesh schema based on JSR-184 in order to improve the performance in terms of memory consumption and time complexity. Most of the 3D games have used OpenGL-ES low-level APls, which may limit portability and fast developing time. Hence, the 3D mobile game engine providing high-level APls which works on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) phones on J2ME, is proposed here in order to optimize the performance for Java environment abiding JSR-184 standard. To prove performance enhancement, skinned-mesh schema on JSR-184 engine is modified and tested. The experimental results are shown.

  • In the field of mobile games, social network games are steadily increasing in market scale and public interest every year. This paper proposes a method to design a social network game, which is one of the most successful genres in mobile games. The method uses Unity3D, the most commonly used engine for mobile game development. NGUI, a versatile developmental tool of Unity3D, is used to create shops and battle UIs. This paper particularly focuses on how to use the web hosting service to search and operate the necessary data from the database in the server. In addition, the proposed social network game is easy to implement real-time battle using Animator and Raycast, and is characterized by efficient battle implementation through time delay using Coroutine function.

  • The survival game is characterized by the ability to survive until the item is collected and the game is completed at the specified time, and the inventory function to store the item is the core of the game. Typical survival games include 'Don't Starve', 'H1Z1', and 'Lust'. The purpose of this paper is to design a 2.5D survival game that can be enjoyed by the smart device using Unity 3D engine. Because it is designed as a mobile platform, designing light inventory function using two lists rather than existing inventory function makes it easier to design than existing inventory and light design suitable for mobile. In general, it is characterized by designing a mobile game so that it does not depend on the place of the survival game.
