The following summarized argument is the comparative research of the characteristics of automatic techniques demonstrated in the mixed expression of foreign language and Korean language in Lee Sang's poetry. Our research examines the use of foreign languages such as French and English shown in Lee Sang's poems, and then, recognized the characteristics of the automatic techniques demonstrated by the parallel marks and signs of Korean language. The automatical technique's element that Lee Sang made use of is a language of loanblend, consisting of free use of French, English, Japanese and Korean. The mathematical and geometric figures such as numbers and shapes can be seen as an important poetic language. In Lee Sang's poetry, the French words "AMOUREUSES" and "ESQUISSE" and English words "I WED A TOY BRIDE" are considered as parts of Korean language. The use of foreign language is seen by the readers as encodes of a unacquainted language and it provides rhetorical characteritstics that gives off profanatory feeling about the poetry. The poet is seen to have created a new poetic language that excess the standards of the limitations that Korean and Chinese marks have through the application of polysems and poliphonyic effects that foreign languages have. The mathematical and geometric signs are Lee Sang's special experimental elements that can't be seen in other literary poetries. They are conversational and the requirements for the expression of abstract artistry and esthetics. The language used in his poetry are external to those traditional poetic languages and they mix freely with other poetic elements to become an automatic technique used in the writing. Lee Sang's techniques can be considered as the pursuit of defiance and departure, freedom about literature and artistry. Moreover, the avant-garde expressionism is the literary form that demonstrated the sense of inferiority, nervousness and loneliness risen from physical pain and the abnormal relationship with women in the poet's personal life. The technique shows the longingness of the the Western culture and literature that lay dormant in the poet's consciousness and it is also the expression of ingenious that created the new guide in the Korean poetic literature, exceeding the European surrealism. Lastly, the automatic technique images that are demonstrated by the mixture of the foreign languages and Korean language are the creations of an innate poetic language and poetic literature that can't be imitated by anyone in Korean literature.
Biological Treatment of Wastewater Containing Chlorinated Phenols by a Mixed Culture. Lee, Wan-Seok1, Sang-Wook Jung, Chan-Sun Park, Byung-Dae Yoon, Jang-Eok Kim\ and Hee-Mock Oh*. Environmental Bioresources Laboratory, Korea Research Institute of Biosicence and Biotechnology, Taejon, Korea, 1 Department of Agricultural Chemistry, Kyungpool< National University, Taegu, Korea - The biodegradation of chlorinated phenols in an artificial wastewater was investigated using a mixed culture. The mixed culture was composed of 8 microorganisms isolated from the soil contaminated with various chlorinated phenols. Pseudomonas sp. BM as a main constituent of a mixed culture was Gram-negative, catalase- and oxidase-positive, and rod-shaped, and did not grow at 41°C. It degraded 99% of initial 500 mg!1 of pentachlorophenol (PCP) in the minimal salts medium as a sole source of carbon and energy within 3 days. The degradation efficiency of Pseu.domon.as sp. BM was not affected by the other organic carbon and nitrogen compounds. Pseudomonas sp. BM was able to grow in a broad range of pH 5 - 8, and degrade 2,000 mg/1 PCP. In the experiment with an artificial wastewater containing chlorinated phenols, the degradation efficiency of the mixed culture was the range of 73% (2,4-dichlorophenol) -96% (2-chlorophenol) during an incubation of 7 days. In a continuous culture experiment, the degradation efficiency of mixed culture plus activated sludge was about 2 times higher than that of the control containing only activated sludge. These results indicate that it is possible to apply the mixed culture to other wastewaters containing chlorinated phenols. Key words: Biodegradation, chlorinated phenols, pentachlorophenol, Pseudomonas sp. BM

This experiment was carried out during the period from September, 1997 to October, 1998 to determine the effect of fermented saw-dust pig manure (FSP) application on the herbage production on a mixed pasture in the Cheju brown volcanic ash soil. Split plot design (main plot: 3 nitrogen application levels of 0, 150 and 300 kgiha; sub plot: 4 pig sawdust manure levels of 0, 3, 6 and 12 tonha) was used. Plant height and dry matter yield increased significantly with an increase of nitrogen and FSP level. There was no difference in the botanical composition of grasses as affected by FSP application level, but herbage yields of grass species were increased by nitrogen application compared to that without nitrogen application. Botanical composition of white clover decreased with an increase of nitrogen application, but increased with an increase of FSP application level. Percentages of weeds were not affected by application rates of chemical nitrogen fertilizer and swine manure in the mixed species pasture. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium contents of species in the pasture significantly increased with increasing application rates of nitrogen fertilizer. In conclusion, it would be an optimum to apply 150 kgha of inorganic chemical fertilizer and plus either 3 or 6 toniha of fermented swine manure with sawdust for optimum production of mixed pasture on Cheju Island. (Key words : Herbage production, Botanical composition, Morphology, Plant mineral contents)
Efforts were made to determine the activation energy and the reaction order by adopting Kissinger and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa analysis methods. All the data were acquired from TGA thermograms for the mixed fuels with different temperature heating rates. It could be known that both the coal and the mixed fuels decomposed thermally at temperature ranges of $300{\sim}700^{\circ}C$. The temperature at the maximum reaction rate, Tp, could be determined by DTG method, which could be obtained by differentiation of TGA thermogram. Kissinger analysis showed the linear relationship with experimental data, showing the activation energy of $319.64{\pm}4$ kJ/mol. From Flynn-Wall-Ozawa analysis, it was shown that the activation energies and the reaction orders did not undergo any significant changes with both the conversions and the heating rates. It was considered from this facts that the combustion mechanism of the mixed fuels could not be affected by the extent of conversion and heating rate. In the present study, the activation energies showed different values according to the different analysis methods. The difference might be originated from the inconsistency of the mathematical data treatment method. In other words, while the activation energies obtained from the Kissinger method indicated the average values for overall reaction, that from Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method showed the average values for the each conversion around Tp.
Topic extraction is a technology that automatically extracts a set of topics from a set of documents, and this has been a major research topic in the area of natural language processing. Representative topic extraction methods include Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and word clustering-based methods. However, there are problems with these methods, such as repeated topics and mixed topics. The problem of repeated topics is one in which a specific topic is extracted as several topics, while the problem of mixed topic is one in which several topics are mixed in a single extracted topic. To solve these problems, this study proposes a method to extract topics using an LDA that is robust against the problem of repeated topic, going through the steps of separating and merging the topics using the similarity between words to correct the extracted topics. As a result of the experiment, the proposed method showed better performance than the conventional LDA method.

This pot experiment was conducted to find out the forage productivity and quality in a grasslclover sward as affected by the application of three different fertilizers; double superphosphate(DS), fused Mg-phosphate (FP), and complex fertilizer(CF) on newly reclaimed hilly soil. This part was concerned with the mutual balances of mineral nutrients in the soils and mixed grass/clover sward in relation to grass tetany hazard. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. Concentration of exchangeable Mg and relative proportion of Mg to CEC in the soils before experiment were considerably below the critical level for good forage growth and prevention of grass tetany. It seems that these properties would be able to handicap by liming and NPK applications. 2. Comparing with the critical level for likelihood of tetany(Mg <0.2%, K >2.5%, and W(Ca+Mg) >2.2 in forages), mean concentration of Mg ranged from 0.14 in DS plot and 0.18 in FP plot to 0.24% in CF plot. Meanwhile, hazards of grass tetany in relation to the %K and ratio of K/(Ca+Mg) were not recognized. 3. Comparing with the optimum level of Carp(% ratio)=2.0 in forages for animal health, these ranged from 6.1 to 7.1. (Key words : Grass tetany, Fertilizer. Soil. Mineral nutrients)
In daily activities, the interaction between humans and robots is very important for supporting the user's task effectively. Dialogue may be useful to increase the flexibility and facility of interaction between them. Traditional studies of robots have only dealt with simple queries like commands for interaction, but in real conversation it is more complex and various for using many ways of expression, so people can often omit some words relying on the background knowledge or the context of the discourse. Since the same queries can have various meaning by this reason, it is needed to manage this situation. In this paper we propose a method that uses hierarchical bayesian networks to implement mixed-initiative interaction for managing vagueness of conversation in the service robot. We have verified the usefulness of the proposed method through the simulation of the service robot and usability test.
This study examines and identified a series of strategies of Russia's political elites to maintain and strengthen their dominance by reviewing the case of revisions in the election laws of Russia in 2014. At that time, a mixed-member electoral system was newly introduced, and on the surface, it seemed that the new system was a step toward meeting the demands of the people for "enhanced democracy". However, in 2016 and 2021, the ruling party of Russia won the general elections by making the most of the factors that could distort the election results inherent in the mixed-member electoral system. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze whether the revision of election laws was a mere vehicle used by the ruling party, United Russia, to maintain its political power, or whether it was a leap forward to achieve democracy. The study result indicate that the revision of election laws in 2014 was part of the policy responses to the internal conflicts in the circle of Russia's political elites, which had been rising since 2008, as well as to the public resistance. In other words, it was confirmed that the revision of election laws was one of the measures taken to "minimize competition" and "reproduce political power on a stable basis".
In this paper, we discuss why two different surface forms appear in loanwords for English and German /${\int}$/ In Korean, a vowel is inserted into loanwords if a consonant cannot be properly syllabified. Therefore, /${\int}$/ in some positions of loanwords trigger vowel insertion. Interestingly, /${\int}$/s in the onset cluster of English and German words were borrowed in Korean as Iful with the inserted vowel [u] whereas If Is in the coda position of English and German words were borrowed as Ifil with the inserted vowel [i]. For example, 'shrimp' is adopted as [${\int}urimphi$] whereas 'rush' is adopted as [$ra{\int}i$]. In this paper, we attempt to find out the phonetic reason for the distribution of the surface forms of /${\int}$/. We assume that since the formant frequency of [i] is higher than that of [u], the peak frequency of /${\int}$/ with the surface form of [${\int}$i] in loanwords may be higher than that of /${\int}$/ with the surface form of [${\int}u$]. We also assume that duration may be another factor for the distribution of [${\int}i$] and [${\int}u$]. Since /${\int}$/ and /u/ use lip rounding whereas /i/ doesn't, the duration for [${\int}i$] might be longer than that of [${\int}u$]. German supports our assumption. /${\int}$/ in the onset cluster is longer than /${\int}$/ in the coda position. It also has higher peak frequency than that of /${\int}$/ in the coda position. In loanwords, ${\int}$ in the onset cluster is borrowed as [${\int}u$] as in Spiegel whereas /${\int}$/ in the coda position is borrowed as [${\int}i$] as in Bosch. English, however, does not support our assumption. Peak frequency of [${\int}$] depends on the preceding vowel, not on its position in the syllable structure. If the preceding vowel is front, then the peak freuency of the following of the following /${\int}$/ is high but if the preceding vowel is back, than the peak frequency of the following /${\int}$/ is low. The peak frequency of /${\int}$/ in the onset cluster seems to be in between. As we assumed, however, the duration of /${\int}$/ in the coda position is longer than of /${\int}$/ in the onset cluster. With the mixed results, we question whether Koreans really hear two different xounds for /${\int}$/ in English words. For the future experiment, we would like to perform the perception tet for /${\int}$/ in English words.
In order to investigate the trends in science education research using AR (Augmented Reality) and derive implications for elementary science education, we analyzed 71 research articles on AR application in science education published in both Korea and abroad from 2010 to August 2020. In quantitative aspects, the number of published articles has steadily increased. For domestic researches, the number of papers targeting for elementary school students was higher than that of middle & high school students. In the research method aspects, qualitative methods were most frequently used. In particular, papers regarding the development of AR program and verification of its effectiveness were most frequently published. The researches using mixed method in domestic field were smaller in number than that of the research in abroad. There were similar trends in research targeting elementary school students. In the aspects of the contents, more researches were performed on biology and earth science areas than others. In case of researches for elementary school students, the proportion of researches on biology and earth science was even higher. Domestically the proportion of studies on the convergence of science and non-science subjects was higher than that of foreign studies. The number of researches exploring the effectiveness on 'non-scientific attitude domain', 'cognitive domain', and 'program domain' were relatively higher than that on 'inquiry & practice domain' and 'science-related attitude domain'. For types of AR contents, 'observation manipulation type' was mostly studied, followed by 'experimental activity type', and 'learning guide type'. In case of studies on elementary school students, the ratio of 'observation manipulation type' contents was higher than that of others, whereas studies on 'field problem solving type' were relatively less reported than others. In addition, studies on 'simple interaction' were most frequently reported. Particularly, there were relatively few studies on 'linear and nonlinear interactions' in domestic field. As a result of analyzing key words, we found that the key words related to the characteristics and implementation of AR frequently occurred, and the key words related to elementary education and the merits of AR had many direct connections with other key words.
