Modernization movement has affected classical operas. Today, classical operas are often re-interpreted from the modern perspective and played differently only with the storyline maintained. Also, operas are increasingly performed outside traditional theaters as the boundaries between stage and audience become less obvious. Accordingly, stage costumes are being differently designed than before. New attempts are being made to look costumes in a harmony with increasingly streamlined stage machinery. This helps increase public attention on operas, consequently promoting the opera industry. This study examines modernization of opera costumes. For this study, the author worked as one of costume design staff for "Faust," which was played in Sungnam Art Center from November 24, 2005 to November 27, 2005 in commemoration of the opening of the center. The following outcomes of the crowd are drawn from this study. A variety of splendid pink dresses, ribbons, dolls, hand mirror, and hair bands were used to express haughty girls with "Princess Syndrome." Fashion models, the envy of all woman, wore fashionable clothes including luxury dresses, fur-coats, high heels, purses, and hats, Models also had big shopping bags and gift boxes to symbolize shopping lovers in a modern society. Gay men wore tight leather trousers and vest and sleeves shirts with deeply cut neckline to express their preference for feminie style. their clothes were splendid colors that normally women liked such as gold, purple, light green, scarlet, and silver. Soldiers were in combat uniform representing their participation in the war. In particular, clothes stained with dirt, iron helmet, crutches, and canteens were used to vividly express soldiers coming back home from the war. Modern opera costumes now help reduce the time and space between stage and audience, improve economic efficiency, and meet the audience's needs for various style.

This study is to verify the effects of classes at a finishing stage using cartoons depicting certain science textbook units on scientific attitudes and academic achievements of students, compared to those of classes using experiment and observation oriented textbooks. Participants of this study were 56 fifth graders at B Elementary School in Busan, and cartoon textbooks were developed based on 'Unit 1. Mirror & Lens' and 'Unit 3. Temperature & Wind' from a science textbook for the 1st semester, the year 5 to conduct cartoon led lessons just before ending a class till the 10th lesson, for the period of 4 weeks. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: Firstly, scientific attitudes improved better from the cartoon based lesson of a final stage than from the experiment and observation method, and especially more effective in lower groups among all other academic achievement levels as well as in male students. Secondly, academic achievements scored higher when cartoons were used in lessons than when the experiment and observation type was used, with higher groups of academic achievement levels working better, despite no significant gap existing between two genders. Thirdly, the memory transfer and sustenance of lessons were more effective in finishing class stage with cartoon studies than with experiment and observation one, and among all levels and both sexes, higher academic groups and male pupils exceeded. Fourthly, when questioned about their opinions on a cartoon led lesson for a final stage, 65% of those participants responded positively, while higher groups preferred more than lower groups. responded positively, while higher groups preferred more than lower groups.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the metatheatricality of Harris' plays marked by the device of 'play-within-a-play' - Androcles and the Lion, Arkansaw Bear, and Punch and Judy. In his metatheatrical plays Harris shows that characters perform for themselves and others. The framework that inner performance is going on within the outer frame play is formed on the stage, and this device reminds the audience in the seats that they are representing reality but that they are only in the middle of performing on the stage. Based on this point of view, this study explores fictionality of character, and play. In Androcles and the Lion, the most-performed children's play in America, the metatheatrical elements are shown in the style of commedia dell'arte, which attacks the rigidity of characters' identity in the Roman society. Another well-known children's play, Arkansaw Bear consists of realistic frame play and fantastic inner play in the mind of a girl, both of which function as a mirror each other and help to sustain aesthetic distance to death and reality on the stage. In Punch and Judy, the structure of frame play and inner puppet play reminds that what's going on in the play is just a fictional play and reflects history of children's puppet show. Harris' unique metatheatricality, the heightened awareness of his own artistic medium, offers children educational opportunity to learn about how a play is performed on the stage and contributes to convey mature theme through children's imaginary participation in the process of playmaking on the stage.
A diverse range of products are currently being sold; however, it is very difficult to purchase All-in-One patterns that reflect the body types of the elderly stage in the open market. This study is to develop specialized All-in-One patterns by assessing obese body types characteristics of the elderly social class. Five healthy women with typical obese body types in the elderly stage with busts, waists, and hips surpassing 100 cm were chose as test subjects. The three subjects for the wearing experiment are those with more than one year of experience wearing a bodysuit. A self-evaluation was made three times by looking in the mirror. The data from this study was processed to find averages and deviations; in addition, and a t-test was performed using the SPSS 24 statistical software. A total of 13 body parts were measured prior to and while wearing the specialized All-in-One patterns. Significant results were obtained from all 12 items. All-in-One for research appears to have produced a high level of satisfaction for subjects. This study can provide basic data on elevating the levels of satisfaction of the consumers in their elderly stages with special body types that deviate from standard body types at the time of wearing garments as well as for inner-wear companies to graft this market as a high-value-added niche market.

A newly recorded chaetodontid species, Chaetodon speculum Cuvier, 1831 was collected in July, 2021 from Pohang, Korea. Its body color is yellow with black stripe across the eyes and a large spot occupying one fourth of the upper part of the body. C. speculum is very similar to congeneric species, C. zanzibarensis, but it can be distinguished by the size of the spot, shape of the lateral line, number of longitudinal line scales and geographic distribution. C. speculum is readily identified between post-larval stage and adult stage because of its similar external shape. Molecular analysis based on mitochondrial DNA COI sequences showed our specimen perfectly matched C. speculum. Therefore, we propose the new Korean name, "Heug-jeom-na-bi-go-gi" for C. speculum.

Even if the Mirror stage is necessary for the Formation of the subject, at the same time it should also lead to the next stage, i.e., the Symbolic Order. It is considered as the realm of the Otherness, which refers to the realm of language or that of law. If the Ego can't go through the symbolic castration acted on by the Name of the Father, he will be remained in the prison of the Imaginary. The Madness also shows the similar process. For Hegel the Discipline of the Labor or the Death as absolute Otherness that inevitably delays the Desire plays the same role as the name of Father. It may be the experience of Separation or that of Sublation of the individual towards the universal, which is equivalent to the experience of Symbolic castration in Lacan. Furthermore there may be the difference between Hegel and Lacan as the following; while in Hegel the experience of Separation is founded on the spontaneity of the Spirit, for Lacan it is to be compelled and structured by the absolute Other.

In this paper, a decoupled dual servo (DDS) stage for ultra-precision scanning system with large working range is introduced. In general, dual servo systems consist of a fine stage for short range and a coarse stage for long range. The proposed DDS also consists of a $XY\theta$ fine stage for handling and carrying workpieces and one axis coarse stage. Its coarse stage consists of air bearing guide system and a coreless linear motor with force ripple. The fine has four voice coil motors(VCM) as its actuator. According to a VCM's nature, there are no mechanical connections between coils and magnetic circuits. Moreover, VCM doesn't have force ripples due to imperfections of commutation components of linear motor systems - currents and flux densities. However, due to the VCM's mechanical constraints the working range of the fine is about $25mm^2$. To break that hurdle, the coarse stage with linear motors is used to move the fine about 500mm. Because of the above reasons, the proposed DDS can achieve higher precision scanning than other stages with only one servo. With MATLAB's Sequential Quadratic Programming (SQP), the VCMs are optimally designed for the highest force under conditions and constraints such as thermal dissipations due to its coil, its size, and so on. And for their movements without any frictions, guide systems of the DDS are composed of air bearings. To get precisely their positions, a linear scale with 5nm resolution are used for the coarse stage's motion and three plane mirror laser interferometers with 5nm for the fine's $XY\theta$ motions. With them, on scanning the two stages have same trajectories. The control algorithm is named Parallel method. The embodied ultra-precision scanning system has sub 100nm following error and in-positioning stability.
Bronze mirrors found in pagodas were regarded as simple offerings and thus have received little attention in studies. Furthermore, the few studies on bronze mirrors enshrined in pagodas have focused on the line-engraved mirrors found in the pagodas of the Kingdom of Wuyue; therefore, it is difficult to understand the general characteristics of the bronze mirrors enshrined in the pagodas. This study assumes that the bronze mirrors found in many pagodas in the Kingdom of Wuyue and the Song dynasty were enshrined for a specific purpose. To explore this assumption and accurately understand the artifacts, this study focuses on the location and method of enshrinement. The number of bronze mirrors enshrined in pagodas increased during the Kingdom of Wuyue, with the mirrors expressing statues and inscriptions related to Buddhism rather than being simple offerings. This shows that the purpose of the bronze mirror changed. The influence of the Kingdom of Wuyue continued during the Song dynasty; however, the pattern of bronze mirror enshrinement changed due to the culture and social atmosphere of the time. The most common types of enshrined bronze mirrors were plain, and bronze mirrors from the Dang dynasty were also used consistently. Plain bronze mirrors were used more frequently in this period despite the lingering influence of the Kingdom of Wuyue because it was less laborious to engrave images and inscriptions such as the inscription of Buddha. Additionally, bronze mirrors were valued during this period because of the attention toward the imitation of the archaic bronze(仿古銅器) of the Song dynasty and the influence of the emperor. Moreover, it is believed that bronze mirrors were enshrined in pagodas as offerings as they were deemed valuable at the time. There was a change in the method of enshrining bronze mirrors in pagodas during the Kingdom of Wuyue and the Song dynasty. During this time, bronze mirrors that were positioned on the floor or in iron boxes were intentionally attached to walls or hung from the ceiling. This method was largely divided into two types: attaching to walls or the ceiling(嵌入鏡) and hanging from the ceiling(懸鏡). A typical example of hanging a bronze mirror from the ceiling can be seen in the Jingzhisa Temple Pagoda, and Teng County's Fushengsa Temple Pagoda contains an example of attaching a bronze mirror to the ceiling. The methods of hanging or attaching bronze mirrors to the ceiling were closely related to the methods employed in Chinese tombs. Song dynasty burial chambers had a high and wide structure, so to defend against evil spirits(辟邪用), bronze mirrors were used to protect the burial rooms. Bronze mirrors were, therefore, placed high to illuminate the burial room. This was achieved in the ways mentioned above. As underground chambers became wider and higher, mirrors also protected the important areas of the chambers and illuminated the interiors. Thus, it is believed that the methods of enshrining bronze mirrors in the pagodas during the Kingdom of Wuyue and the Song dynasty arose from the method of enshrining bronze mirrors in tombs at the time. Thereafter, pagodas, such as the Miaojuesa Temple Pagoda, in which the placement of a bronze mirror was actively considered from the design stage were constructed.

In this paper a new technique to generate spreading code sequences in the CDMA communication is introduced. It is an effective method to generate optimal code sequences using the orthogonality of wavelet packet basis set of subspaces. With a three-stage Quadrature Mirror Filter(QMF), generation of optimal code sequences has been demonstrated. Since these generated optimal code sequences are non-binary and have an arbitrary waveform which is different from that of the conventional PN-based Gold code sequences, a strong security against the intended interceptor is feasible. Encouraging good correlation properties are also achieved with this new method.

Novel class AB CMOS second-generation current conveyors (CCII) using 0.6.mu.m n-well CMOS process for high-frequency current-mode signal processing were developed. The CCII for low power operation consists of a class AB push-pull stage for the current input, a complementary source follower for the voltage input, and a cascode current mirror for the current output. In this architecture, the two input stages are coupled by current mirrors to reduce the current input impedance. Measurements of the fabricated CCII show that the current input impedance is 875.ohm. and the bandwidth of flat gain when used as a voltage amplifier extends beyond 4MHz. The power dissipation is 1.25mW and the active chip area is 0.2*0.15[mm$\^$2/].
