Einflussfaktoren des Sprachverarbeitungsprozesses beim Satzverstehen (Strukturelle $Ambiguit\"{a}ten\;der\;Pr\"{a}positionalphrase$) (문장을 이해하는데 필요한 언어처리요소들 - 구조적으로 애매한 전치사구를 중심으로 -)

  • Sprachverstehen ist ein interaktiver kognitiver Prozess. Der Verlauf des Sprachverstehens ist durch die kontinuierliche Interaktion von Bottom-up- und Top­down-Prozessen gekennzeichnet. Die eingehende Information wird durch die interaktive Nutzung verschiedener sprachlicher und aussersprachlicher Wissenssysteme verarbeitet. Herangewgen wird z. B. syntaktisches Wissen, lexikalisches und semantisches Wissen, Weltwissen und pragmatisches Wissen. Das hier vorgestellte Modell stellt den Begriff des lexikalischen Kopfes als $f\"{u}r$ die Verarbeitung von $S\"{a}tzen$ zentrales Konzept heraus. $Ambiguit\"{a}ten$ werden unter $Ber\"{u}cksichtigung$ der in ihnen $repr\"{a}sentierten\;Information\;aufzul\"{o}sen$ versucht Im Unterschied zu Prinzipien wie 'minimal attachment' rekurriert 'head attachment' nicht auf eine dem Satz zugrundeliegende Struktur, sondem allein auf lexikalische Information von $K\"{o}pfen$ und deren Reihenfolge an der $Oberfl\"{a}che$ eines Satzes. Head attachment ist daher $unabh\"{a}ngig$ von Annahmen $\"{u}ber$ syntaktische Strukturen. $W\"{a}hrend$ der 'tiefere Sinn' von Prinzipien wie 'minimal attachment' darin liegen soll, eine $m\"{o}glichst$ geringe Arbeitsspeicherbelastung durch Aufbau $m\"{o}glichst$ wenig komplexer Strukturen zu $gew\"{a}hrleisten$, erreicht 'head attachment' eine Entlastung durch die $Erm\"{o}glichung\;einer\;fr\"{u}hen$ semantischen Integration, da es Anbindungen in Abh\"{a}ngigkeit$ von dem Vorhandensein von $K\"{o}pfen\;vorschl\"{a}gt$. Es ist dieser Aspekt $\"{o}konomischer$ Verarbeitung, durch Verarbeitungs­heuristiken zu einer $m\"{o}glichst\;fr\"{u}hzeitigen$ Interpretation zu gelangen, der im hier vorgestellten Modell im Vordergrund steht, und zwar im Sinne einer semantikorientierten Syntaxverarbeitung.

A Comparative Study of the effects of Autogenous and Xenogenic Bone grafts with PRP(Platelet Rich Plasma) technique on Periodontal Regeneration (혈소판 농축 혈장과 혼합된 자가골 및 이종골 이식재가 치주 조직의 재생에 미치는 효과)

  • Regeneration of Periodontium with PRP does not only improve regeneration rate and density of bone but have a possibility to estimate faster healing process for soft tissue. And also, autogenous bone and xenogenic bone graft are effective on regeneration of periodontium. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of autogenous bone and xenogenic bone $(BBP^{(R)})$ grafts with the PRP technique on regeneration of periodontium. 52 Generally healthy Pt. who had pocket depth 5mm at any of 6 surfaces of the teeth were in the study at Dept. of Perio. in Dankook Dental Hospital. Open Flap was treated for 18 infra-bony pockets as control group, autogenous bone with PRP was inserted for 25 infrabony pockets as first test group, and $(BBP^{(R)})$ with PRP was inserted for 22 infrabony pockets as 2nd test group. Then evaluation was made after 3 and 6 months 1. There were significant differences between average probing pocket depth and clinical attachment level of 3, 6 months and minimal and maximal attachment level after 6 months each other. 2. There were significant differences in average probing pocket depth of control group and 2nd experimental group between 1 and 6 months. For clinical attachment level and minimal and maximal proving attachment level, there was a significant difference after 6 month of surgery. 3. There was no significant difference between two test groups for average probing depth, clinical attachment level, and minimal and maximal probing attachment level. As the result, PRP with bone graft could be very effective for regeneration of periodontium and there was no difference between xenogenic bone and autogenous bone.

There were significant differences for clinical change of each three group which were between average probing pocket depth and clinical attachment level of 3,6 months and minimal and maximal attachment level after 6 months 5. There were significant differences for average probing pocket depth which were only at control group and 2nd test group between 1 and 6months. For clinical attachment level and minimal and maximal proving attachment level, there was a significant difference after 6month of surgery. 6. There was no significant difference between two test groups for average probing depth, clinical attachment level, and minima1 and maximal probing attachment level. As the result, PRP with bone graft is very effective for regeneration of periodontium and there is no difference between xenogenic bone and synthetic bone.

Effects Of Minocycline And $TGF-{\beta}1$ On Human Gingival Fibroblasts And Periodontal Ligament Cells In Vitro (Minocycline 및 $TGF-{\beta}1$이 배양 인체 치은섬유모세포와 치주인대세포에 미치는 영향)

  • One of the initial events required for periodontal regeneration is the attachment, spreading and proliferation of fibroblasts at the healing sites. These have been reported that minocycline stimulates the attachment of gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells and $TGF-{\beta}1$ enhances the proliferation of periodontal ligament cells. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and confirm the effect of minocycline and $TGF-{\beta}1$ on human gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells. That gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells used in this study were obtained from the explants of healthy periodontal ligaments and gingival tissues of extracted 3rd molars or premolar teeth extracted from the patients with orthodontic treatment. The cells were cultured in ${\alpha}-MEM$(minimal essential medium) supplemented with antibiotics and FBS(fetal bovine serum) at $37^{\circ}C$ in a humidified atmosphere of 5% carbon dioxide-95% air. Cells were used between the 5th to 8th passage in this study. The attachment and activity of both cells were evaluated by MTT assay. The results were as follows: 1. Maximum gingival fibroblast attachment was seen at a $50{\mu}g/ml$ dose of minocycline, while maximum periodontal ligament cell attachment was seen at a $100{\mu}g/ml$, and exposure of both cells to minocycline above maximal attachment dose results in a decline from maximum attachment. 2. The activity values of both cells tested minocycline were below to the control activity values at all concentrations. 3. The attachment values of both cells tested $TGF-{\beta}1$ were below or similar to control attachment values. On the above the findings, minocycline stimulated the cell attachment of gingival fibroblasts and periodontal ligament cells and $TGF-{\beta}1$ enhances the cell activity of periodontal ligament cells.

Resolving Grammatical Marking Ambiguities of Korean: An Eye-tracking Study (안구운동 추적을 통한 한국어 중의성 해소과정 연구)

  • An eye-tracking experiment was conducted to examine resolving processes of grammatical marking ambiguities of Korean. and to evaluate predictions from the garden-path model and the constraint-based models on the processing of Korean morphological information. The complex NP clause structure that can be parsed according to the minimal attachment principle was compared to the embedded relative clause structures that have one of the nominative marker (-ka), the delimiter (-man, which roughly corresponds to the English word 'only'), or the topic marker (-nun) on the first NPs. The results clearly showed that Korean marking ambiguities are resolved by the minimal attachment principle, and the topic marker affects reparsing procedures. The pattern of eye fixation times was more compatible with the garden-path model, and was not consistent with the predictions of the constraint-based accounts. Suggestions for further studies were made.

  • To obtain accurate and repeatable analyses using NIR technology it is important to select an NIR instrument and / or its sample presentation attachments which allow the operator to minimize sampling errors without compromising the benefits of NIR analysis -namely rapid, low cost, minimal sample preparation, minimal structural facilities, minimal hazards. For each sample type and consistency there may be different optimal combinations of instrument, sample presentation attachment, and sample preparation. This paper will consider options available to NIR users in the area of plant and soil analysis and evaluate the potential benefits and disadvantages of crop nutrient diagnoses using laboratory based and airborne imaging techniques.

Clinical evaluation of Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure® (LANAP®) surgical treatment of chronic periodontitis: a retrospective case series of 1-year results in 22 consecutive patients

  • Purpose: Treatment for periodontitis has evolved over the years as new technologies have become available. Currently, lasers seem attractive as a treatment modality, but their effectiveness needs to be verified. The purpose of this project was to evaluate Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure® (LANAP®) surgery as a single treatment modality. Methods: As part of a mandatory training program for periodontists and other dentists, 22 consecutive patients diagnosed with moderate to severe periodontitis (probing depth [PD] up to 11 mm) were treated with the LANAP® surgical approach using a 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser as part of a multi-step protocol. Following single-session active therapy, they were entered into a maintenance program. Their clinical status was re-evaluated at 12-18 months following surgery. Results: All 22 patients completed the 12- to 18-month follow-up. PD, clinical attachment level, and furcation (FURC) showed substantial improvement. Recession was minimal (mean, 0.1 mm), while 93.5% of PD measurements were 3 mm or less at re-evaluation. Furthermore, 40% of grade 2 FURC closed clinically. Conclusions: Within the limits of this case series, LANAP® was found to be an effective, minimally invasive, laser surgical therapy for moderate to advanced periodontitis.

Effects of early nonparental care on preschoolers' socioemotional behaviors (영·유아기 타인양육이 학령전 어린이의 사회정서적 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of early full-time nonparental care during infancy/toddlerhood on children's socioemotional behaviors during the preschool period. Subjects for this study were 105 three- to five-year-olds from middle-class families in the U. S. A. Children were assigned to one of three groups according to their early care history. Children's social interactions with peers and caregivers during indoor free-play sessions in day care centers were observed for 20 minutes. The head teachers rated the children's social and emotional behaviors on two questionnaires. Mothers completed the Attachment Q-sort for attachment assessment for the preschoolers. In addition, mothers were asked to fill out a questionnaire on their parenting practices. Children who had received full-time nonparental care during infancy and/or toddlerhood were rated by their teachers as being more intellectually competent than children who did not receive full-time nonparental care during first three years of life. They were, however, rated by teachers and were observed by the researcher as being more aggressive than children with no full-time nonparental care. These children were observed to engage in less wandering/onlooking behaviors than children who had not had any full-time nonparental care. Children's attachment security scores and dependency scores did not differ as a function of early nonparental care histories. When the effects of early care patterns, sex of child, and current attachment security to mothers on aggressive behaviors of the preschoolers were examined by a hierarchical regression model, then any "pure" effects of nonparental care and of attachment security on child aggression were minimal after controlling for family background, child care center quality, and maternal childrearing practices. Strong buffering factors for the preschool children (family characteristics, parenting styles, and high quality nonparental care) mediated a possible risk factor of early nonparental care and promoted optimal outcomes for the children.

  • 성인의 자기 조절 읽기 과정에서나 아동의 이해 과제에서나 한국어의 통사 해독 (parsing) 은 무엇보다 입력순서대로 그리고 구 단위로 수행되며, 나아가서 SOV의 규범 어순 효과와 NP -VP의 위계 구조를 형성한다는 사실을 개관하였다. 이들 사실들은 결국 L. Frazier 의 최소 부착(minimal attachment) 의 해독 원리가 통사 처리에 적용됨을 보여주는 것이다.
