봉상접지극과 Mesh접지극의 매설깊이 변화에 따른 위험전압 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of the Dangerous Voltage of Grounding Electrode According to the Burial Depth Levels)

  • Grounding electrodes with higher burial depths are evaluated to have better performance, due to the domestic practice that puts the grounding resistance as the standard of performance evaluation, while grounding resistance decreases as the burial depth increases. However, The dangerous voltage is necessary for the analysis. Because the performance evaluation of grounding electrodes should include not only grounding resistance but also the dangerous voltage(mesh voltage and step voltage). So in this paper, The dangerous voltages of mesh grounding and rod grounding were analyzed for using computer simulation and miniature grounding model.

  • This paper is concerned with the theoretical and experimental study on the force control of a miniature robotic finger that grasps an object at three other positions with the fingertip. The artificial finger is a uniform flexible cantilever beam equipped with a distributed set of compact grasping force sensors. Control action is applied by a piezoceramic bimorph strip placed at the base of the finger. The mathematical model of the assembled electro- mechanical system is developed. The distributed sensors are described by a set of concentrated mass-spring system. The formulated equations of motion are then applied to a control problem in which the finger is commanded to grasp an object. The H$_{\infty}$-controller is introduced to drive the finger. The usefulness of the proposed control technique is verified by simulation and experiment..

  • Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems have incorporated versatile nanomanipulators with inherent sophisticated machining capability to characterize the electrical properties of highly miniature components of electronic devices. Carbon fibers were chosen as a model system to test the applicability of nanomanipulators to microscale electronic materials, with special emphasis on the direct current current-voltage characterizations in terms of electrode configuration. The presence of contact resistance affects the electrical characterization. This resistance originates from either i) the so-called "spreading resistance" due to the geometrical constriction near the electrode - material interface or ii) resistive surface layers. An appropriate electrode strategy is proposed herein for the use of FIB-based manipulators.

  • This paper presents the implementation and control of a small-scaled excavator system. The commercial miniature of an excavator system has been modified and its control hardware is embedded to access the feedback control. Encoder sensors are attached to the joint and a force sensor is mounted on the end-effector so that feedback position control is accessible as well as force control. The dynamic model of the excavator system is derived as a four linkage robot arm and its control performances are simulated. Experimental studies of contact force control tasks are conducted to test the control algorithm for the excavator system.

  • In this paper, we propose a smart transformer for a smart transformer miniature model, which can replace a 60 [Hz] single-phase transformer installed in an electric vehicle. The proposed smart transformer is lighter than a conventional transformer, can control instantaneous voltage, and can be expected to improve power quality through harmonic compensation. The proposed intelligent transformer consists of an incoming part, an AC/DC converter, and a dual active bridge. Only the incoming part and the AC/DC converter are described in this paper. The proposed intelligent transformer has 75 kVA 3.3 kV input and 750 V DC output, which are verified by simulation and experiment.

  • In this paper, we designed the 6-wheeled mobile robot (6-WMR) with the passive linkage mechanism which enables 6-WMR to passively adapt to the given stairs. To overcome the limit of adaptability to the terrain of conventional WMR and improve the energy efficiency, we proposed the new WMR using the passive linkage mechanism. The passive linkage mechanism consists of the simple four-bar linkage mechanism which allows 6-WMR to climb stairs with adaptability and an additional link which is connected to the four-bar linkage mechanism by a pin-slot joint to enable 6-WMR to passively go up the stairs.   • The ballast, one of track components, plays an essential role as intermedium in transmitting train load to subgrade safely, and the deterioration of ballast directly effects the growth of track irregularity. In this study, we determined the main factor of ballast deterioration was miniature of ballast gravel caused MTT(Multiple Tie Tamper) works and accumulated traffic loads. To estimate the deterioration characteristics of ballast, we carried out field test through track construction for test and the model test simulating the actual operation environment, have done a comparative analysis with the sample's result(crushing rate) of high-speed railroad running actually.

  • We present the control software and its development process for a prototype of the Camera and Grating Articulation System (CGAS) for GMACS, a wide-field, multi-object, moderate-resolution optical spectrograph for the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT). The CGAS prototype is currently designed for the camera articulation controller as a miniature model of the GMACS. The camera articulation package (CAP) is a software that controls two stepper motors to adjust the camera angle. The package is developed using Visual C++ and runs on Windows 10. We discuss the architectural design and communication route between the high-end user software and the electronics hardware.

  • The research on miniature devices based on non-silicon materials, in particular polymeric materials has been attracting more and more attention in the research field of the micro/nano fabrication in recent years. Lost of applications and many literatures have been reported. However, the study on the micro thermal imprint process of glassy polymer is still not systematic and inadequate. The aim of this research I to obtain a numerical material model for an amorphous glassy polymer, polycarbonate (PC), which can be used in finite element analysis (FEA) of the micro thermal imprint process near the glass transition temperature (Tg). An understanding of the deformation behavior of the PC specimens was acquired by performing tensile stress relaxation tests. The viscoelastic material model based on generalized Maxwell model was introduced for the material near Tg to establish the FE model based on the commercial FEA code ABAQUS/Standard with a suitable set of parameters obtained for this material model form the test data. As a result, the feasibility of the established viscoelastic model for PC near Tg was confirmed and this material model can be used in FE analysis for the prediction and improvement of the micro thermal imprint process for pattern replication.
