Purpose: Although the price reduction policy is established for military supplies, it is more focused on general military items. Therefore, it is hard to apply the current price reduction policy directly to the major weapon system. The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation model which generates appropriate outputs for price reduction of military supplies. Methods: To improve the current policy, we first analyze the relevant policies of price reduction of similar organizations. We gather the opinions of related organization through survey including DAPA, Logistics Command, DTaQ and Defense industry companies. Then, we develop a price reduction model based on the analytic hierarchical process(AHP) method to find out important factors for price reduction. Results: The results of AHP analysis show that the important factors when applying price reduction of military supplies. From the analysis, the proposed method effectively generates the amounts of price reduction for the nonconformance items. Conclusion: The results of this research will be used as guidelines to improve military supplies policy of price reduction.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the cognitive performance of major depressive disorder (MDD) in military service/conscription personnel who visited the psychiatric clinic for a medical certificate to consider the situation from the perspective of Korea's unique compulsory military system. We used the Korean Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-IV (K-WAIS-IV) as the test for verifying the suitable level of cognitive functioning for military service and as the embedded measure with reflecting suboptimal effort. Methods : The study was conducted on 56 (28 males, age 19-34) in/out-patients admitted to the psychiatry department and diagnosed with MDD (DSM-IV). All participants completed a structured clinical interview (MINI-Plus), as well as self-report questionnaires related to demographics and severity of clinical symptoms. K-WAIS-IV was administered to each subject to assess cognitive characteristics. Results : Military group showed significantly lower processing speed index (PSI) score including subtests of symbol search (SS) and coding (CD) score, compared to the control group. There was no other significant differences in the Full Scale IQ (FSIQ), Verbal Comprehension Index (VCI), Perceptual Reasoning Index (PRI), Working Memory Index (WMI) scores including sub-tests comprised of the above indices, and Reliable Digit Span (RDS), Enhanced-RDS-Revised (E-RDS-R) between the study and control groups. Conclusion : This study was the first effort to verify the characteristics of Korea's military group with MDD and suggest the applicability of PSI and processing speed of K-WAIS-IV as an embedded performance index to test sub-optimal effort or low motivation beyond the purpose of testing cognitive deficits.

본 연구는 군 간부의 자존감이 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는지 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 그리고 이러한 영향 관계를 직무만족과 군생활 적응이 매개하는지 동시에 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 경기도와 강원도에 소재한 육군 부대 각 1개에 복무하는 580명의 간부를 임의표집하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집한 자료는 기술통계, 상관관계 분석을 비롯하여 구조방정식 모형을 설정하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 군 간부의 자존감은 군생활 적응만을 매개하거나 직무만족과 군생활 적응을 차례대로 매개하여 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 군간부의 다문화 수용성을 제고하기 위해서는 군 간부의 자존감, 직무만족 및 군생활 적응을 동시에 높여야 할 것이다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 군 간부의 자존감, 직무만족 및 군생활 적응력을 높이기 위한 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 정보화시대에 군이 변화하는 환경에 적응할 수 있도록 (1) 군사혁신의 구성요소와 정보기술이 국방영역에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, (2) 혁신 대상이 되는 전환과제를 도출하며, (3) 선진국의 군사혁신 사례 및 우리 군의 현 실태를 비교 분석하여 정보화환경과 부적합한 요소를 분석하고, (4) 도출된 혁신과제를 수행하기 위한 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 군사혁신의 구성요소를 현재 군사분야의 임무별/사업별 핵심영역이라고 할 수 있는 국방전략, 조직구조 및 환경, 교육훈련, 군사기술, 군수 및 병참 등 5개 과제에 한정하고, 이 5개 분야가 변화된 정보화 환경에 어떻게 영향을 받고 있으며, 부적합요소가 무엇이며, 어떻게 개선할 것인가 하는 혁신방안을 제시하였다. 군사혁신의 구성요소와 정보기술이 국방영역에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 미군의 군사혁신 사례 및 경향을 분석하여 시사점을 도출하고, 그 기준에 의거 우리 국방의 현 실태를 진단한 뒤 추진방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative characteristics and the aesthetic values of the Military style in the 20th century and the images of the Military look shown in recent collections. The results of this study are as follows; 1) The aesthetic values of the Military style includes authority, functionality, resistibility and bisexuality. Authority is represented in suits and coats attaching details such as epaulets, flap pockets, gold buttons and badges. Functionality is represented in pants suits and skirts suits which are comfortable and simple. Resistibility is represented in wrinkled, dirty-old and torn military items. Bisexuality is shown on the military pants suits that a skirt or a mink coat is draped over. 2) The Military look in collections are expressed in classic, romantic, sexual, sporty, avant-garde and ethnic images. Classic images are appeared in suits and coats attaching details such as epaulets, flap pockets, gold buttons and badges. Romantic images are represented in the military items made of pastel-tone lace or splendid colored silk. Sexual images are appeared in designs to expose or to focus in women's body. Sporty images are represented in the military items made of new materials such as cotton-fleece, cotton-jersey and tencel. They have camouflage prints, melange-gray and fluorescent colors. Avant-garde images are appeared in the deformed suits and outer made of special materials with camouflage prints, khaki, gray and black. Ethnic images are represented in wearing military and ethnic items at the same time or military items made of ethnic colors, prints and handmade details.

The purpose of this thesis is to overcome the shortcomings of the existing system which lacks cost-conciousness and does not consider the essentiality or the importance of an item, and to seek the method of providing effective, efficient and economic supply which is the objective of the military inventory management. Selective management technique and lot size model whose demand, and order and shipping time are distributed, are intorduced, and required distributions and parameters are analyzed. Finally hypothetical data are utilized to obtain the model output, which are compared with the existing model and analyzed.

The main purpose of this study is to develop an watch duty scheduling focused on Korea Navy Ship, PCC class, in port. The watch duty scheduling is a type of a scheduling problem which both considers the readiness of the ship and fair duty for each person. In this study, we analyzed the personal ability and military occupational speciality and developed a manpower scheduling by using heuristic. We find an efficient and effective watch duty schedule which improved results.

As we live in real If era, If become a mandatory component for nations and organizations to survive in severe competition. If is also thought of as strategic asset for effective business operations, yet there is no proved statement on the interoperability and system integration which causes serious problem in terms of requirement engineering among current systems. The National Defense Enterprise Architecture Framework is a strategic information asset base, which define the military operation activities for the mission, the information necessary for military operations, the technologies necessary for implementing new technology in response to changing operational needs. It is an integrated model or representation. Information Systems will be evolved by the National Defense Enterprise Architecture framework. The purpose of this framework is to present overall picture of national defense information system domain so that information systems are interoperated, integrated and information sharing is increased among affiliated organization of Defense Military.

Purpose of this study is embody the environmental-friendly military facility model that applied renewable energy, passive design method and high efficiency equipment. In the introduction of this study, defined problem of existing military facility and classification of military facility are performed. Also, environmental friendly military facility is defined through classified by scale and building equipment method. In the renewable energy chapter, photovoltaic system and wind turbine system are considered And then, LED light, photovoltaic panel, motor, inverter are analyzed in the high efficiency equipment chapter.

The purpose of this study is to develop a mid and long-term roadmap for "Commercial and Military Collaboration Standardization(CMCS) program." We developed three layer's roadmap through systematical process. The roadmap is composed of four targets, eight projects and forty-six tasks. To evaluate the quality of the roadmap, we applied checklist method and statistical analysis. Consequently, the quality is positive and it shows that the roadmap could apply for CMCS program. In addition, it is expected to contribute to the standardization between military supplies and commercial products.
