Fitness of clothes becomes a major concern in apparel industry. But girls had difficulties to buy ready-made clothes of good fit. To solve this problem it is necessary to classify girls' lower body Into several kinds of somatotypes and to develop dress form. The purposes of this study was to classify lower body types of middle-high school an provide the dress forms based on the analysis of their lower body types. The subjects for anthropometric measurement were 402 middle-high school girls of 13 to 15 year-old. The result of factor analysis indicated that 5 factors were extracted from anthropometric measurments through factor analysis and those factors comprise 71% of total variance. 4 clusters were categorized using 5 factor scores by cluster analysis 4 lower body dress forms for middle-high school girls were made of gypsum mould. By the analysis of more photograph three dimensional characteristics of somatotype and overlapped cross-section diagrams were analyzed.
The purpose of study was to test the hypothesis that three are differences in body size dietary behavior and nutrient intakes of adolescent girls with weight control experience. Cross-sectional survey was carried out with a questionnaire and anthropometric measurements . Subjects were 724 healthy adolescent girls from middle and high schools of urban and rural areas in Inchon and divided into two subgroups with weight control experience. Subjects trying to lose weigh were 25.1% in middle school girls and 47.1% in high school girls. There were significant differences in weight and BMI between weight control experience and non- experienced groups in middle school students. There were significant differences in skipping meals and reason of skipping meals between weigh control experience and non-experience groups which might show that skipping meal was used as a weight loss method among female school students. There was no significant difference in nutrient intakes between weight control experienced and non-experienced groups in middle and high school subjects. these results suggest that nutrition education is necessary for adolescent girls to practice appropriate weigh control strategies including desirable eating habits and adequate intake of nutrients such as energy vitamin A vitamin B$_2$calcium and iron.

Questionnaires were designed and administered to 300 middle school girls and 302 high school girls in Inchon. The obtained data were statistically analyzed by Pearson’s correlation coefficients, t-test, F-test, and Duncan test. The results of the study were summarized as follows: 1. As tho the differences in responses between school levels, the high school girls showed higher interest in conformity. But there is no differences in Modesty and Importance by school levels. 2. As tho the differences in responses between school levels, there were no differences in attitude toward clothing regulations. Purpose: This study was designed to identify the factors affecting the experience of smoking in middle school girls. A comprehensive analysis of individual and family factors was used. Method: The students in this descriptive survey on causal relations were 433 girls enrolled in middle schools selected by convenience sampling. The data were collected in November-December 2003 and logistic regression analysis was used to build a forecast model. Findings: The findings showed the following, 1) Individual factors such as grade, alcohol consumption, sexual experience and the frequency of exposure to pornographic materials, and 2) family factors such as parental living arrangement were significant factors. Conclusion and Recommendation: The experience of smoking among Korean middle school girls was associated not only with individual factors, but also with family factors, which exert a strong influence on health behavior. There is therefore a need for school-based smoking prevention programs, which deal comprehensively with these factors that influence smoking. It is recommended that a program be developed that will help to control the variables identified in this study along with follow?up study to verify the model.
The purpose of this study were to compare the wearing and purchase practice of underwear items, and the attitudes toward underwear in middle school girls with those of their mothers in Chongju city. The questionnaires were to measure the demographic information, wearing and purchase practice of underwear items, and attitudes toward underwear. As statistical analysis, frequencies, $X^2-test$, and t-test were used. The results were as follows: 1. There were partially significant difference beween middle school girls and thier mothers of wearing and purchase practice of underwear. 2. The most important factor was size when they purchase their underwear. As the next important factor, middle school girls considered design, while their mother considered functional properties. 3. Methods: The study was a pretest-posttest repeated-measure design with a nonequivalent control group. Fifty eight students with depressive symptoms were recruited from two middle schools in Seoul, Korea. The data were collected from the intervention (n=30) and the comparison group (n=28). The research instrument was Reynolds Adolescent Depression Scale. Results: The intervention group greatly improved from baseline to 10 weeks and then saw a slight positive change between 10 and 13 weeks. In dietary attitude, there were significant differences in attitude of 'balanced meal (p<0.05)', 'sufficient protein intake (p<0.01)', 'food diversity (p<0.001)' and 'overeating(p<0.00)' between boys and girls. The boys showed better dietary attitudes than the girls did. In food habits, there were significant differences in the rate of skipping breakfast (p<0.05), the rates of skipping dinner (p<0.001), the frequency of snacks (p<0.05), the type of snacks (p<0.05) between boys and girls. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted using self-report questionnaires. Participants were 412 students, 137 middle and 275 high school girls. Data were collected from December 7 to 23, 2016 and analyzed using t-test and Spearman correlation coefficient. Results: The percentage of correct answers for knowledge about breast self-examination among middle and high school girls was 29.2%. The mean score for practice ($5.89{\pm}0.10$) among middle and high school girls was low. For knowledge, there were significant differences according to grade (t=5.93, p<.001), having heard about BSE (t=4.02, p<.001), experience of BSE (t=2.51, p=.012), and need for education (t=3.37, p=.001). In practice, there were significant differences according to having heard about BSE (t=3.64, p<.001), experience of BSE (t=2.64, p=.017). Knowledge level of BSE positively correlated with practice of BSE (r=.21, p<.001). Conclusion: Research results suggest that education on BSE for middle and high school girls is needed to increase the possibility of early detection of breast cancer.
