중학교 수학 교과서 문제의 인지적 영역 분석 (Cognitive Domain of Problems in Korea Mathematics Textbooks)

  • Textbooks are official materials so that these are the most frequently used teaching materials in school. The teacher constructs the lesson based on the contents of the textbook to achieve the learning goal. Thus, textbooks play an important role because the quality of the contents in textbooks affects the cognitive level of students. This study investigates the cognitive domain based on Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives(knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation) of 'Values and Expression' in the mathematics textbook of the first grade of middle school reflecting the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. We also looked at cognitive levels based on Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives. As a result, it was found that understanding was dominant in 'Values and Expression'. Also, although the problem of requiring a higher level of cognition is increasing as the unit finishes, there are still a high percentage of low level of problems.

교과서 분석에 기초한 수학과 수행과제의 이해와 활용 (Undering and its application of performance task based on the Analysis on the Mathematics Textbook)

  • This study basically investigates the meaning and properties of performance task applicable to mathematics classroom and it finds out how to run effectively performance task activities included in the present mathematics textbooks. To accomplish this, this study deals with twelves kinds of mathematics textbooks for ninth graders and is proceeded on the basis of textbook analysis and teacher interview. Considering a situation that in future mathematics textbook would be developed, according to the analytic results of this study, common understanding of performance task and qualified performance task are needed, a variety of tasks classified by differentiated level are needed. In addition, each task should be dealt with the contents related to curious and interesting real-life situations. Furthermore, fairness of checking and recording should be established and teachers' positive attitudes to applying performance tasks to math class are needed.

스토리텔링을 활용한 중학교 기하영역 자료 개발 연구 (Development of Material for Middle School Geometry using Storytelling)

  • 본 연구는 2012년 학교 수학수업 개선을 위해 제기된 스토리텔링 적용 수학수업 실현을 위한 스토리텔링 모델 교과서 개발 연구 중 일부이다. 본고는 스토리텔링 모델 교과서 개발 예시 자료 중 중학교 기하 영역에 맞추어 '다양한 문제들을 해결하기 위한 맥락적 상황 전개', '정보 전달 도구로서의 이야기', '친숙한 스크립트로서의 이야기', '세계적 보편성 또는 삶의 시뮬레이션으로서의 이야기', '창의력을 기르는 수단으로서의 이야기: 이야기 만들기'의 관점에 따른 개발 자료 예시를 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 스토리텔링을 적용한 중학교 기하영역 자료 개발에서의 개발의 관점 및 의의, 교과서 전개 방식을 제시하고 이를 적용한 수업에서의 교수 학습 반응을 제시함으로서, 향후 스토리텔링을 활용한 수학 자료 개발 시 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

  • In order to educate future leaders of the new age, we should help students to increase their basic knowledge, thinking and problem solving ability. It is necessary that we should use multi-media, computer as well as old teaching-learning material to improve students' basic knowledge and to motivate their interest in mathematics in the small-sized Middle School situated on the agricultural and fishery village. In solving this problem, it is ultimately necessary that we should utilize CAI program on the learning achievement in mathematics for the students to understand basic concept, principle, law and to promote teaching-learning process considered on individual different abilities. Therefore, this study is on the effect of students' interest and learning achievement in mathematics when we develop CAI program focusing on the lesson statistics in the 3rd Grade Middle School Mathematics Textbook and explain the concept and principle of statistics through using exact and various techniques of computers

중학교 수학교과서에 제시된 각 개념 제시 양상 (The concept of the angle presented in the middle school mathematics textbooks)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중학교 수학교과서에 제시된 각 개념 도입 및 전개 양상을 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 수학교과서의 집필 방향 및 각 지도를 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 1차부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지 중학교 1학년 수학교과서 57권을 수집하여 각 및 각 주변 개념들의 표현 방식을 분석하였고, 그것을 바탕으로 결론을 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 중학교 교과서에서는 각을 제시할 때 초등학교와 달리 각의 회전 관점 및 동적 관점을 추가하여 다면적으로 접근하고 있으며, 각의 기술적 정의는 2009개정 교육과정 이후로는 기호 사용을 제외하고 대체로 초등학교 교과서와 일치하는 것으로 나타났다.

수준별 수업에서의 중학교 수학 익힘책의 활용 실태

  • The revised mathematics education curriculum in 2007 decided to introduce mathematics workbooks to the textbook system, which were supplemental textbooks to support mathematics teachers' teaching and students' learning in level-based classroom. This study is to find the field status whether the middle school mathematics workbooks are currently used in the school to be in line with the original intention and purpose and to discuss the improvement direction and effective utilization idea which modification and amendment shall be made for the effective utilization in the field. To achieve the goal of this study, the inquiry survey was made from 75 middle school teachers of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in the middle schools where the moving classing for each level(or class in each level)has been performed with provision of the questionnaire sheet for the understanding of the teachers for the utilization status of the mathematics workbook to solve such study task.

실용수학 교육과정 및 교과서 분석 (An Analysis of the Practical Mathematics Curriculum and Textbooks)

  • Practical Mathematics is one of the career elective subjects in the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum for high school. This study examined how well the practical mathematics textbooks reflect the recommendations and visions suggested by related professions and organizations with respect to career preparation, especially for students enrolling in engineering industry-focused specialized high schools. Also, this study looked more closely into the contents of practical mathematics in terms of the consistency among different textbooks and the advancement from middle school contents in similar domains.

  • This study investigated the new revised Mathematics curriculums of elementary schools in Korea and Japan at the end of the 20th century. The comparison was made especially with revising direction, purposes, and contents of elementary school mathematics curriculum in both countries. I began by comparing and confirming the ratio of instruction hours of Mathematics to the total instruction hours of all the subjects at as whole. This comparison was done of the elementary and middle school mathematics. The next part of the study was to compare in detail the purposes of revised mathematics in elementary and middle schools of both countries. Particular attentions was paid to the important revised points of Japanese elementary school Mathematics. Finally, I concluded by comparing the contents of elementary school Mathematics of the two countries. New mathematic text books in both countries having been published by revised curriculum, puts the future task in comparing, in detail, the concrete contents of each textbook.

중학교 수학교과서와 중학생들의 반 힐레 기하수준에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Van Hiele Level of Middle school Mathematics Textbooks and Middle school students' geometric thinking)

  • 본 연구에서는 중학교 수학교과서에서 기하 영역의 반 힐레 수준과 학생들의 반 힐레 수준을 비교 분석하였다. 교육과정이 개정되어 오면서 기하 영역에서의 내용은 감소되었지만 반 힐레 수준의 변화는 크지 않았고, 교과서에 제시되어 있는 내용의 기하 수준과 학생의 기하 수준과는 차이가 많이 남을 알 수 있었다. 교과서의 반 힐레 수준은 1학년의 경우 1, 2, 3수준, 2, 3학년의 경우 2, 3, 4수준에 분포되어 있고, 학생의 수준은 1학년의 경우 1수준 이하가 69%, 2, 3학년의 경우 2수준 이하가 각각 73.7%, 47.6%로 나타나 차이가 큼을 알 수 있다. 특히 2, 3학년의 경우 문제에서보다 교과서 본문의 내용의 반 힐레 4수준 비율이 높아 학생에게 어려움을 야기할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

이산수학적 관점에서의 초등수학교과서 분석 연구 (An Analytic Study on the Elementary School Mathematics Textbooks via Discrete Mathematics)

  • Discrete mathematics is as important as it was reformed as an optional subject in the middle school and high school in the 7th national curriculum. There are a lot of studies about discrete mathematics in the middle course but studies about it in elementary course has little performed. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept of discrete mathematics, which is hidden in the mathematics textbook of elementary school and to develop the learning materials of discrete mathematics. Through this, it would make the students to have the sharp insight in their daily lift and mathematical experience by learning: the mathematical inquiry and adaptation.
