목초 및 사료작물 정부장려품종의 지역적응성 평가 V. 이탈리안 라이그라스의 사초수량과 사료가치 (Evaluaton of the Government Recommended Forage Cultivars in Korea V. Forage performance and quality of Italian ryegrass cultivars)

  • Twelve Italian ryegrass (Lolium mult~flomm L.) cultivars have recommended as the government recommended forage cultivars since 1984, however, the forage performance and quality have been mostly tested at two locations, such as Suweon and Sunghwan in the Middle Northwestern and Middle Southwestern Coast Regions, respectively. Therefore, the objective of this experiment was to retest the forage performance and quality of already recommended twelve government Italian ryegrass cultivars at five scattered locations, such as Icheon, Suweon, Sunghwan, Keon- and Kwangju from 1992 to 1995 with the intention of improving recommendations to dairy farmers. Cultivars with more dry matter yield than the control 'Tetrone' were 'Tosca' , 'Bartissimo' , 'Florida 80' and 'Gordo' in the Middle Northwestern Coast Region ; 'Tosca' , 'Florida 80' , 'Bartissimo' , 'Wencke' and 'Gordo' in the Middle Southwestern Coast Region ; 'Tosca' , 'Florida 80' , 'Sikem' , 'Bartissimo' , 'Wencke' and 'Gordo' in the Keongbuk Inland Region; 'Florida 80', 'Tosca' , 'Barmultra' and 'Bartissimo' in the Southern Inland Region and 'Florida 80' , 'Gordo' , 'Sikem' , 'Bartissimo' and 'Tosca' in the Southern Coast Region. At all the locations in 1992-95, 'Florida 80' produced the highest forage yield and showed earliness, but this cultivar was less cold tolerant in the Middle Northwestern and Middle Southwestern Coast Regions and grew tall which made it vulnerable to lodging in all the exprimental regions except the Southern Coast. Differences among the ryegrass cultivars for the three year mean ADF and NDF were small and inconsistent.

서태평양 원격패턴에 따른 한국 4월 강수량의 변동 특성 (Features of Korean Rainfall Variability by Western Pacific Teleconnection Pattern)

  • This study analyzes the correlation between Western Pacific (WP) teleconnection pattern index (WPI) in April during 1954-2008 and rainfall amounts in the same month. Based on the results, it is identified that there have been strong positive correlations between central China, Korea and the southwestern part of Japan in the East Asian region. Through differences between 10 positive WP years and 10 negative WP years selected from the April WPI excluding ENSO years, it is found that rainfall amounts increase in April of positive WP years due to the following characteristics. Increases in rainfall amounts are evident in the East Asian middle latitudinal region where the positive correlation between the two variables is the highest and this is because anomalous southwesterlies are strengthened in the East Asian middle latitudinal region due to the spatial pattern of a south-low-north-high anomalous pressure system centered on this region that is made by anomalous anticyclones centered on the southeastern side of the region and other anomalous anticyclones centered on the northeastern side of the region. In addition, anomalous westerlies (jet) are strengthen in the upper troposphere of the East Asian middle latitudinal region and as a result, anomalous upward flows are strengthened in this region and thus anomalous warm air temperatures are formed in the entire level of the troposphere in the region. In addition to atmospheric environments, anomalous warm sea surface temperatures are formed in the seas in the East Asian middle latitudinal region to help the rainfall amount increases in the East Asian middle latitudinal region.

An OTHBVS Cell Line Expresses the Human HBV Middle S Protein

  • An OTHBVS cell line from HepG2 was established. This cell line stably expresses the human hepatitis B virus (HBV) middle S protein that includes the preS2 region which is important for HBV particle entry into the hepatocyte. To establish this cell line, the middle S open reading frame (ORF), with a promoter located in the 5' region and enhancer located in the 3' region, was cloned downstream from the metallothionine (MT) promoter of the OT1529 vector. In this vector, expression of the middle S protein was constructed to be regulated by its own promoter and enhancer. Expression of the large S protein which contains the preS1 region in addition to the middle S protein was designed to be regulated by the MT promoter. When extracts of OTHBVS cells were examined with an S protein detection kit (RPHA, Korea Green Cross Co.), an S protein was detected. Total mRNA of OTHBVS cell examined by northern blot analysis with an S ORF probe revealed small/middle S transcripts (2.1 kb). When the MT promoter was induced by Zn, large S transcripts (2.4 kb) were detected. The GP36 and GP33 middle S proteins were presumably detected, but large S proteins were not detected by immunostain analysis using anti-preS2 antibody.

  • This paper intends to explore the social and cultural implications of convergence media, based on Goffman's situational approach. The situational segregation of regions makes us to re-interpret the current private and public spheres and helps us to reveal the principle and structure hidden in the new middle region. An environment of convergence media is nullifying the separation of private and public spheres, while letting a new middle region appear.

영남지방 지역 및 지대별 담배거세미나방과 파밤나방 성충의 발생소장 (Seasonal Occurrence of Tobacco Cutworm, Spodoptera litura Fabricius and Beet Armyworm, Spodoptera exigua Hübner Using Sex Pheromone Traps at Different Locations and Regions in Yeongnam District)

  • 영남지방의 지역 및 기후지대별 담배거세미나방과 파밤나방의 발생소장을 각각의 성페로몬을 이용하여 조사하였다. 경람지역에서 담배거세미나방은 3월 중하순부터 11월 중하순까지 발생하였다. 경북지역에서 담배거세미나방은 4월 중하순부터 11월 상중순까지 발생하였으나, 울진에선 5월 하순부터 10월 하순까지 발생하였다. 기후지대별 담배거세미나방의 발생최성기는 남부해안지대에서 9월 중순, 내륙지대 및 분지지대에서 8월 하순, 내륙산간지대에서 8월 중순, 그리고 동해안중부지대에서 9월 상순이었다. 담배거세미나방의 지역별 발생비율은 경남의 경우 진주에서 20.0%로 가장 높았으며, 창녕에서 8.6%로 가장 낮았고, 경북의 경우 성주에서 3.3%로 가장 높았으며, 울진에서 0.8%로 가장 낮았다. 기후지대별 발생비율은 내륙지대에서 43.7%로 가장 높았으며, 다음은 남부해안지대에서 36.3%, 분지지대에서 8.4%, 내륙산간지대에서 7.0%이었고, 동해안중부지대에서 4.6%로 가장 낮았다. 한편, 파밤나방은 경북의 동해안중부지대를 제외하곤 3월 상순부터 11월 중순까지 발생하였다. 포항, 영덕 및 울진의 동해안중부지대에서 파밤나방은 대체로 4월 중순부터 11월 중순까지 발생하였다. 기후지 대별 파밤나방의 발생최성기는 내륙지대, 분지지대 및 내륙산간지대에서 8월 상순, 남부해안지대 및 동해안중부지대에서 8월 하순이었다. 파밤나방의 지역별 발생비율은 경남의 경우 창녕에서 1.6%로 가장 높았으며, 부산에서 0.4%로 가장 낮았고, 경북의 경우 성주에서 37.2%로 가장 높았으며, 울진에서 2.7%로 가장 낮았다. 기후지대별 발생비율은 분지지대에서 약 54.3%로 가장 많았으며, 다음은 내륙산간지대에서 29.9%, 동해안중부지대에서 9.3%, 내륙지대에서 3.9%이었고, 남부해안지대에서 2.6%로 가장 낮았다. 따라서 담배거세미나방은 경남지방에서, 파밤나방은 경북지방에서 다발생 되었고, 기후지대별 담배거세미나방의 발생량은 경남의 내륙지대, 파밤나방의 발생량은 경북의 분지지대에서 가장 많았다. 영남지방에서 담배거세미나방의 발생량은 파밤나방보다 2.4배 많았으나, 최초 발생시기와 발생최성기는 담배거세 미나방보다 파밤나방이 약간 빨랐다.

강원도내 지역별 중학생의 급식에 대한 만족도 평가 (Comparison of Students' Satisfaction with Middle School Foodservice by Region in Gangwon Province)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate students' satisfaction with foodservice of middle school by region in Gangwon province. Students’ satisfaction concerning foodservice quality characteristics was surveyed by using importance performance analysis(IPA) technique in middle school foodsevice operations. Middle school students from four cities(Gangnung, Sokcho, Wonju, Chuncheon) were surveyed by self-developed questionnaire. Total of 1,025 questionnaires(female 521 and male 504 respectively) were analyzed using SAS program. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1.The performance level of foodservice quality attributes was significantly different according to region. 2.The attribute of the highest performance level was taste of food. The attributes of the lower performance level were waiting time of meal service and treatment about complaints. The attributes of the higher importance level were hygiene of food and dining room and hygiene of spoon and cup and drinking water table. 3.Satisfied quality attributes identified were taste of food and variety of menu. Dissatisfied quality attribute identified was treatment about complaints. 4.The satisfaction of middle school lunch service was lower than their elementary school period. 5.The satisfied quality attributes of middle school foodservice were portion size, facility of dining room, hygiene of food, variety of menu compared with their elementary school period.

통계분석을 이용한 지역별 산불위험시기 구분 (Statistical Analysis on Danger Period of Forest Fire by Regions in Korean)

  • 전국단위로 시행되고 있는 산불위험시기가 전국 9개 지역(강원, 경기, 경남, 경북, 전남, 전북, 제주, 충남, 충북)과 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 산불발생건수와 피해면적을 가지고 순기별로 구분하여 상관분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 산불발생건수에서는 모든 지역에서 유의성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 산불피해면적에서는 경남, 제주와 유의성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 전국을 대상으로 모든 지역을 설명하기에는 부족하므로 전국 9개도를 대상으로 하여 산불위험시기를 구분하기 위하여 산불발생과 피해면적을 이용하여 분산분석의 다중검정을 실시하고 순기별로 유의성 검정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 산불발생에 있어서 제주를 제외한 지역에서 1% 유의성이 있었고, 산불피해면적은 강원, 제주를 제외한 지역에서 1% 유의성을 보였다. 각 지역별로 위험시기를 구분할 수 있지만 행정적 효율성을 높이기 위하여 지역별 상관분석 결과를 이용하여 산불위험시기가 비슷한 중부권(강원, 경기, 경북, 전북, 충남, 충북), 남부권(경남, 전남), 그리고 제주권(제주)으로 분류하였다. 산불발생시기에 있어서는 중부권은 2월중순${\sim}$5월상순까지 전체의 81%가 발생한 반면 남부권은 1월하순${\sim}$4월중순까지 전체의 71%가 발생하였다. 산불피해면적에 있어서는 중부권은 2월중순${\sim}$5월상순까지 전체의 98% 가 발생한 반면 남부권은 1월하순${\sim}$4월중순까지 전체의 82%가 발생하였다.

공공시설의 여가프로그램 이용실태 분석-중년기와 노년기의 비교를 중심으로- (The Use of Leisure Program in the Public Community Facilities -Comparing the Middle-aged with Aged-)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the factors affected on the leisure participation leisure satisfaction and leisure effect of the middle-aged with those of the aged who were paticipated in the leisure program of the public community facilities. the sample of he study consisted of 218 midle-aged and 163 the aged living in Seoul and Daegu. Frequencies means ,$x^2$,T-test and multiple regression were employed for the analysis. The results of this study were as follows; The middle-aged had more positive leisure attitude than the gaged less leisure participation and more leisure satisfaction. The factors affected one he leisure participation of the middle-aged were region and fee and those of the aged were region leisure attitude and fee. The factors affected on the leisure satisfaction of the middle-aged were number of the family region and the access of the transportation as compared with those of the aged were sex health status and the access of transportation. And the factors had effects on the leisure effect of the middle-aged were sex educational attainment number of the family the access of transportation and fee comparing with those of the aged were educational attainment and leisure attitude.

S지역 중학생의 독서문화 활성화 방안 (A Study on the Revitalization of Reading Culture of Middle School Students in S Region)

  • 본 연구는 국민독서실태조사(2021)를 바탕으로 S지역 중학생의 독서실태를 비교 분석하고 독서문화조성 활성화 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2022년 7월 5일부터 2022년 7월 19일까지 2주간 S지역 중학생 695명을 대상으로 독서실태 설문조사를 수행하였다. 그리고 국민독서실태와 비교 분석하여 S지역 중학생의 독서실태의 문제점을 파악하고, 독서문화 활성화 필요성과 방안을 제시하였다. 독서문화 활성화 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생의 독서량을 향상할 방법을 모색하였다. 둘째, 다양한 독서동아리 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 셋째, 한 학기 한 권 읽기 프로그램 보완의 필요성을 제시하였다. 넷째, 학교도서관과 학생과의 소통 방안을 제시하였다. 다섯째, 중학생 대상의 다양한 독서 지도, 독서프로그램의 필요성을 인식시켰다.

Velocity Oscillations in the Chromosphere and the Transition Region above Plage Regions

  • We investigate velocity oscillations in the active region plage by using the high-spatial, high-spectral and high-temporal resolution spectral data acquired by the Interface Region Imaging Spectrograph (IRIS). From the Mn I $2801.907{\AA}$ (lower chromosphere), C II (lower transition region) and Si IV (middle transition region) lines, we measure the line of sight Doppler velocity at different atmospheric layers, and present results of wavelet analysis of the plage region with a range of periods from 2 to 8 minutes. In addition, we present correlations of the oscillations from the lower chromosphere to the middle transition region. Finally, we will discuss the regional dependence of the oscillation properties on physical properties such as temperature and magnetic field inclination.
