중년여성의 건강증진 생활양식에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting a Health Promoting Lifestyle in Middle-Aged Women)

  • 본 연구는 자아존중감, 우울, 분노표현방식, 사회적 지지가 중년여성의 건강증진 생활양식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구 대상자는 150명의 중년여성이었으며 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 2011년 9월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS win 17.0 프로그램으로 기술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, 다중회귀분석으로 하였다. 연구 결과 신체운동을 자주 하는 집단과 취미생활이나 사회활동을 많이 하는 집단에서, 그리고 월경상태가 불규칙한 집단에 비해 규칙적이거나 폐경인 집단에서 건강증진 생활양식 점수가 높게 나타났다. 자아존중감, 분노조절, 사회적 지지는 건강증진 생활양식과 유의한 순상관관계를 보였고, 우울, 분노억제, 분노표출은 건강증진 생활양식과 역상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자아존중감과 사회적 지지, 신체운동 횟수, 취미나 사회활동 횟수 등이 건강증진 생활양식을 예측하는 유의한 변수로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과에서 나타난 주요 예측변수들을 고려하여 중년여성의 건강증진 생활양식의 향상을 위한 간호중재 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

서킷 트레이닝 비만 중년 여성의 노화 관련 호르몬에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Circuit Training on Aging-related Hormones in Obese Middle-aged Women)

  • 노화 과정에 따라 중년 여성들은 폐경 이후 체력이 저하되기 시작하면서 체지방 증가와 제지방량의 감소로 비만으로 이어지기 쉽고, 이러한 현상은 체내 호르몬의 분비의 변화와 함께 발생된다. 본 연구는 서킷 트레이닝이 비만 중년 여성의 노화 관련 호르몬에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 실시하였다. 대상자 체지방률 30% 이상인 비만 중년 여성 운동군 10명, 대조군 10명 총 20명을 실시하였다. 운동 시간은 준비운동 5분, 본 운동 20분, 정리운동 5분으로 총 30분 주 3회 실시하였으며, 운동 강도는 운동자각도를 이용하여 13~17(약간 힘들다-매우 힘들다)수준으로 실시하였고, 또한 POLAR 심박수 변화량을 측정하여 1~6주는 60~70%HRR (Heart rate reserve), 7~12주는 70~80%HRR로 설정하였다. IGF-1은 운동군이 유의하게 증가하였으며, GH는 운동군이 유의하게 증가하였고, DHEA-S는 운동군이 유의하게 증가하였다. 이상의 결과 서킷 트레이닝이 비만 중년 여성의 노화 관련 호르몬에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 사료된다.

중년기 남성의 사회관계망과 심리적 복지감 (A Study on Social Networks and Psychological Well-being of Middle-aged Men)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the social networks and its relationship with the psychological well-being of middle-aged men. The participants were 314 men who were married living in Pusan, aged between 40 and 59, having occupation and children. Data were collected by questionnaire which consists of Social Networks Scale and Psychological Well-being Scale. The major results of the study were summarized as follows; First, the range of the social contact with men's own kin was wider than women's. In the contact frequency of midge-aged men, primary networks were shown more frequent contact than the secondary networks. In the characteristics of interactive function of social networks, kinship of the middle- aged men, their partners and friendship networks were the most important among the six networks, which agrees the fact that kin are still the primary source of social support. Second, the level of psychological well-being was lower than family-related satisfaction and work-related satisfaction. In the work-related satisfaction, the level of job satisfaction was lower than the other sub-categories. Psychological well-being of middle-aged men were affected by Social economic status as well.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate brand images and fashion leaderships of women's wear manufacturers targeting middle-aged women or older women. Thus, this study was to be an exploratory study to investigate clothing behavior of elderly female consumers and search apprel niche-market for them. The questionnaire consists of questions on brand images, fashion leadership, and merchandise assortment. The subjects were to evaluate their brand images and rated on 5 point Likert-type scales of 29 adjectives. The fashion leadership of these brands was evaluated by the degree of fashion trends adopted on 7 aspects including fashion images, silhouettes, fabrics, colors, design details, accessories, and item-coordinations. For the survey, both interview and the subjects were 66 manufacturers which have national brands or designer brands. Among 44 respondents, 30 respondents were designers and the rest of them were merchandiser or shop managers. The SPSS PC+ package was used to calculate frequency, T-test, and cluster analysis. The results from survey of manufacturers targeting middle-aged women or older women are as follow: 1) The brand imges which they pursue are prestigious, practical, and elegance. 2) There were significant differences in brand images, and national brand manufacturers pursue stronger images in prestigious, chic, intelligent, competency, than designer brand manufacturers. 3) 40 brands were divided into two clusters. 36 brands were included in one cluster, and only 4 brand were belong to the other cluster. In this market, the image of feminity was grouped with the image of prestigious, chic, intelligent, competency. 4) In product planning, the adption level of fashion trends in 7 aspects was generally at medium level, but fashion trends were more adopted in fabric, color, and item-coordination.

부르디외의 계급이론을 이용한 중년 남성 CEO의 외모관리에서 나타나는 구별짓기 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distinguishing Characteristics of Middle-aged Male CEO's Appearance Management using Class Theory Bourdieu's)

  • This study investigated the appearance management aspects of middle-aged male CEO's based on Bourdieu's class theory. We conducted in-depth interviews with male CEOs in their 40s and 50s to understand the characteristics of appearance management in terms of economic, cultural and social capital. We found that they acquire educational capital based on their parents' economic capital and form their own cultural capital as adults. They had the characteristics of Petit Brujois, which aimed for a higher class. The characteristics of differentiation based on appearance management identified three results came from solidifying one's class position: clothing management, diversifying and upgrading appearance management, and pursuing their own ideal image. The influence of social network and cultural capital was also observed in appearance management. This study explored the characteristics of discriminatory appearance management through an in-depth study of middle-aged male CEOs as well as contributed to understanding the context of capital and appearance management by applying Bourdieu's class theory. In addition, this study provides basic data that can be referred to a design and marketing direction for the men's clothing market by providing information on male consumers with high purchasing power.

중년 직장여성의 성기능에 미치는 골반저근운동의 효과: 예비연구 (Effects of Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercise on Sexual Function in Employed Middle-aged Women: A Pilot Study)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effects of pelvic floor muscle exercise on sexual function and to present basic information on promoting sexual function for employed middle-aged women. Method: Data were collected from July to September, 2005 from a sample of 25 conveniently selected middle-aged working women from B city. For personal reasons, 10 dropped out, leaving 15 women who were treated with the exercise for 6 weeks. Outcome measures on sexual function were assessed by a self-report questionnaire based on the Female Sexual Function Index(Rosen et al, 2000 and translated by Kim, 2004). Cronbach ${\alpha}'s $ for the two studies were .82 and .96 respectively and for this study, .81. Descriptive statistics and Wilcoxon signed rank test were used to analyze the data. Results: The mean score for sexual function was 21.42(range 2-36). There were significant improvements in total sexual function, and 4 sub-scales of sexual function, sexual arousal, vaginal lubrication, orgasm, and coital pain. No significant improvements in sexual desire or sexual satisfaction were found. Conclusion: The small sample means findings must be interpreted with caution, but do suggest that pelvic floor muscle exercise could be an effective exercise for improvement of sexual function.

한국 중년여성의 성인 자녀와의 분리경험에 대한 근거이론적 접근 (A Grounded Theory Approach on the Parting Experience of Korean Middle-aged Women with their Children)

  • Purpose: This research was conducted to explore the experience of middle-aged women parting with their children and to develop a grounded theory. Method: The participants were 11 women in their 50's who had experienced parting with their children due to schooling, military service and marriage. The grounded theory methodology based on symbolic interactionism was used. Results: 106 concepts, 30 subcategories and 14 categories were derived from the analysis through processes of open coding, axial coding and selective coding. The central phenomenon was 'happy but sad' and the core category was a process of 'independence that is sorrowful yet delightful'. Four types were identified; the independent-type; submissive -type; family-reliant-type ; and fragile-type; based on the attachment to the child, state of mind, satisfaction of the situation, family support system and self-achievement. Conclusion: This research identified that the modern Korean middle-aged women who are considered to be the 'sandwich generation' since they have experienced a turbulent history and the change from a confucian parent-child lifestyle to a couple-oriented one, moved away from an attitude dependent on children in parting with them and started preparing for an independent late life. Based on the results, the verification research is advised on the variables that affect the experience of parting with children.

중년여성의 체형에 적합한 의복형태와 면분할 및 배치 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Design for Figure of Middle Aged Women)

  • In order to flatter the figures of average middle aged women by determining harmonious proportions for their costume forms, this study evaluates effects of varying design details of jackets(coats) with blouses and slacks using a ranking test and paired comparisons test. The result from clothing design C-2 which has the best design effect were as follows; 1. In order to look taller, the jacket(coats) is divided vertical long line and it has the emphasis point close to the face. 2. In order to make shoulder width look wider, armhole seam line attached 1-2 cm from the shoulder point. 3. In order to make chest width look slimmer, division was made up of a tailored collar with a deep V-neckline. 4. In order to make waist circumference look slimmer, the jacket has more fitted waist line than loosed it and tailored collar with a deep V-neckline. 5. In the case of the division of upper and lower garments, when the division was closer to the golden section, i.e., when the jacket hemline is hipline and slacks length is the heel excluded length of shoe heels, the overall appearance was better. 6. The V-neckline looked better, when it was cut along a long acute angle to the waist line. Because of dividing along above factors 1-6 i.e., clothing design C-2 was overall harmonious. Appropriate division of costume forms made for an aesthetic composition, which flattered the body types of middle aged women and presented harmonious, beautiful costume design effects. It made the women look taller, slim and balanced, and highlighted middle aged women's sense of beauty.

중년여성의 자각하는 유.수분 유형과 비침습적 방법으로 측정한 안면피부상태 (Condition of Facial Skin by Non-invasive Measurement and Lipid.Moisture Type of the Facial Ski by Subjective Self-consciousness in Some Middle-aged Women)

  • 일부 도시 중년여성을 대상으로 안면부위별 피부상태를 파악하고자 비침습적 측정방법을 이용하여 유 수분, 멜라닌 홍반 정도를 관찰하였고, 주관적으로 자각하는 유 수분 유형을 조사하여 객관적 측정값들과의 관련성을 보고자 하였다. 안면부위별 측정 결과, 수분량은 눈가>이마>볼, 유분량은 이마>눈가>볼 부위 순이었으며, 홍반지수는 이마>볼>눈가, 멜라닌지수는 눈가>이마>볼 부위 순이었다. 객관적 유분 측정값과 주관적으로 자각하는 유분유형은 일치성을 나타내었다. 유분량 홍반지수, 멜라닌지수의 각 측정값들은 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다.

Effect of Home Training using the App on Metabolic Syndrome Risk Factors and Atherogenic Index in Obese Middle-Aged Women

  • 본 연구는 앱을 이용한 홈 트레이닝이 비만중년여성의 대사증후군 위험이자 및 동맥경화지수 변화를 분석하여 COVID-19의 펜데믹 시대에 비만 개선의 하나의 중재방법으로 제시하고자 실시되었다. 연구의 대상자는 비만중년여성 33명을 대상으로 앱 홈트레이닝 그룹(AHTG) 15명, 통제그룹 (CG) 18명을 모집하여 8주간의 앱을 이용한 홈트레이닝을 주 3회 실시하였다. 이 연구 결과 AHTG의 대사증후군 위험요인 중 WC(p<.001)는 유의하게 감소하고 HDL-C(p<.05)는 유의하게 증가하였으며, 동맥경화지수는 LDL-C/HDL-C(p<.01) 유의하게 증가하였다. 따라서 COVID-19 펜데믹 시대에 PA는 여러 만성질환에 대한 개선 효과 외에도 심각한 COVID-19 대유행을 완화 하는데 중요한 역할을 하며 앱을 이용한 홈트레이닝이 비만 및 대사증후군을 예방에 효율적인 중재 방법이 될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.
