A Microprocessor-Based Interpolator (마이크로프로세서를 이\ulcorner나 인터폴레이)

  • In this paper we present a microprocessor-based interpolator using algebraic arithmetic method. The interpolator consists of 2900 "bit-slice" microprocessor chips and 0.5K ROMs of 36-bit microprogram memory. The system design is an instuction-data-based architecture with 250ns cycle time. A significant feature of the interpolator is that it has flexibility, very fast interpolation speed of 250 K pulses/sec, and performs additional functions simultaneously. Throughout the paper detailed explanations are given as to how one can design the hardware and software, and experimental results are presented.presented.

  • This paper is concerned with the design of the optimal gains of the controller in the speed control system for the induction motor controlled by the microprocessor. The system is modelled with the discrete-time state equation, considering the time delay, for the facility of the optimization techniques. Introducing the conjugate gradient descent method, as the optimization technique, are derived the optimal gains, the gains which give the best transient characteristics. At the optimal gains obtained, the theoretcal transient responses are verified by experimental ones on a 5HP induction motor drive system.

  • The paper shows a result for development of BLDC motor drive by using a resolver as position detection sensor. The developed drive use a method detecting rotor position based on HSI interrupt function of microprocessor without a specialized counting circuit. The algorithm generating three-phase PWM wave to change switching voltage and current is realized based on single chip microprocessor. The PWM generating part and position counting circuit are realized by software technique without usage of conventional analogue circuit or object-oriented chips. So the drive system become compact. The effectiveness of the developed drive is verified by experimented results of speed response for step reference input.

  • Permanent magnet synchronous motor is widely used in industrial drive applications due to high efficiency, high power ratio, and easy maintenance. Position and speed detectors required in this motor increase the drive cost, and reduce the application range. Some papers present the speed control without position and speed detectors using DSP characterized by high processing performance. However, DSP increases the cost, and makes the inplementation difficult. This study has performed the speed control without position and speed detector by means of the microprocessor system which can be easily accessed. The results of simulation and experiment showed comparatively good dynamics in spite of the sensorless system.

  • A microprocessor-based incremental servo system with a variable structure is presented. New system properties are obtained by composing a desired trajectory from the parts of trajectories of different structures. It is implemented with Z-80A microprocessor to control a dc motor, and fast response without overshoot and good steady-state accuracy can be easily obtained.

  • 본 논문은 단상 또는 3상의 AC 전원의 전류나 전압 또는 전력을 계측하기 위해 Analog Signal들을 Digital Signal로 변환하여 특정 Algorithm의 연산을 수행하여 결과를 얻는 과정을 Microprocessor를 이용하여 처리하는 방법은 산업현장이나 연구개발에서 흔히 사용하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 Microprocessor를 이용하여 보편화된 3가지의 계측 Algorithm인 DFT, True RMS, Summation Algorithm을 사용하여 동일 System에 3상 AC의 전류 부하를 일정 범위에서 가변 하여 인가시키면서 계측 값을 사용하여 Algorithm의 계측 결과의 오차율과 연산에 소요되는 시간과 외부 잡음인 Surge, Impulse, 정전기, 방파, 고조파에 대한 System의 처리 효율을 연구 하였다.

  • The cooling water circulation plates had been used to drop the temperature of refractory outside shell of common cooling system by using cooling plate or stave type. When they are attacked by surrounding gas, they are corroded and the water flows in the refractory due to leakage of water. So, the life of refractory material is shortened and changed due to the worse conditions of cooling system. The automatic sensing device for water leakage of cooling plate is developed to check the position of trouble by using the microprocessor system when cooling water leak and gas are flowed into the cooling plate through the leakage position. The flowed gas is detected in the micro-process system which delivers the detected position of cooling plate or stave to main control room through the wireless-radio relay station. This system can be possible to detect the position of cooling plate or stave against the water leakage part immediately and then deliver the signal to main control room by using the microprocessor system and wireless-radio relay station. This system will be developed in changing the working condition from manual system to unmanned auto alarm system.

  • In this paper, we present new application for the auction method which has been based on one-chip microprocessors. We develop the portable wired terminal for market blocker. And, using that, the recommended price of products is able to push into and show the information of action status. Through our research, using EAS(Electronic Auction System), we can prevent supplier from blocker's rigging the market, because anyone who have a qualification for the action blocker is able to participate in action.

  • Recently, the microprocessor with network function based control system instead of conventional microprocessor is widely used for industrial applications, and also these technologies are widely adopted for train control and monitoring in modem rapid transit system. The purpose of this paper is to propose a criteria for data transmission, which was designed and realized through Korea High Speed Train. Noise, distortion and attenuation are always present in data transmission system and strictly limit performance. This paper describes a method to calculate the propagation constant, attenuation constant, phase velocity and length of stub.

  • This paper is concerned with the analysis of microprocessor-based PID control for the current source inverter-induction motor derive system. A linearized dynamic model of the motor is derived and is converted into the discrete-time model. With the equation, the overall system including the feedback loops is formulated into a single discrete-time state equation. The stability regions are determined at various values of controller gains. The transient responses of the motor speed are simulated by digital computer and are verified by laboratory experiments.
