오차 기반의 수정된 외란 관측기를 이용한 광디스크 드라이브의 트랙 추종 성능 향상 (Tracking Performance Improvement for Optical Disk Drive Using Error-based Modified Disturbance Observer)

  • Generally, the tracking performance of optical disk drive(ODD) system can be improved using a disturbance observer(DOB). However, a DOB is not easily applied in an ODD system because an additional microprocessor, such as a digital signal processor(DSP), is needed. This paper shows how a DOB system can be replaced by the error-based modified disturbance observer(EM-DOB) when two mathematical conditions are satisfied. Due to the simplified structure of EM-DOB, the algorithm is easily implemented as an analog circuit, which is suitable for the ODD servo system. Additionally, in these algorithms, disturbances rejection performances can be tuned as Q filter parameters. Similar to a DOB system, three design guidelines of a Q filter can be applied. Experimental results of DOB and EM-DOB are evaluated under forced disturbances.

  • This paper describes a fast and low-power multiplier co-processor architecture for digital signal processing applications and real-time control systems and its use as a multiplier co-processor for a 32-bit RISC microprocessor utilizing its one of the 16 co-processor interfaces. Its architecture adopts various algorithms to reduce the dynamic power and the area as well. The designed multiplier performs 32$\times$32 bit multiplication, and was designed using verilog HDL and 0.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, 3V, 4M CMOS standard cell library. Its target operating speed is 40MHz, area lower than 10000 gate counts, and 10mW/MHz of power.

  • The main work of this paper are the manufacture of six degree of freedom industrial robot control hardware of 16 bit CPU and the development of five motion control software. The work would draw on KIT of Robotics Laboratory whose extensive experience in these areas; in particular the 68000 assembler and Modula-2 languages, and existing robot control systems. We found that this controller is good for the robot controller of PID types. But, for the use of self-tuning algorithms and real time calculations we need 32 bit CPU robot controller such as MC 68020 microprocessor.

  • In this study, we used a 16-bit microprocessor, 80C196KC for a control part in order to develop a multi-functional wheel-chair system, and implemented a joy-stick to control this system. For the complete system, we used a commercial electromotive wheelchair as a basic plant, and applied an encoder to get the rotating number of the motor to transfer data to the MCU to control the motor. We used PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method to control the wheel-chair motor where a H-bridge circuit was configured. We used the fuzzy control algorithm for the operation of DC motor, which was attached to the electromotive wheelchair and manipulated following the change of the joystick position while a user was controlling the joystick. He also could control the speed and direction of DC motor as well as control position information.

  • 채널튜닝전압 자체를 기억시키는 종래의 전압합성방식을 개선, 10키이를 통하여 입력시킨 채널번호에 의해 튜닝전압을 계산하여 VHF 및 UHF 전대역에 실제채널번호를 표시하면서 직접접근선국(direct access channel selection)할 수 있는 회로를 설계하였다. 또한 본 회로는 택안(search)에 의한 미세튜닝 및 방송이 없을 경우의 표시를 자동적으로 행하며, 2개의 키이로 채널 전반을 순차적으로 선국할 수 있는 기능도 가지게 하였다.

  • The DC motor has the strong characteristics in the speed response, the system parameter variations and the external influence and is used as the speed controller with its good starting torque in the distributing industry. However development of the Microprocessor which is for high speed switching program can make better control system. This paper introduce to design of the high-effective DC motor controller that is using Software Bang-Bang Program of Fuzzy algorithm and to verity a PI controller and a Fuzzy controller.

  • A digital phase-locked loop speed control system of a self-controlled permanent magnet synchronous mortar fed by a voltage source inverter is presented. This paper discribes the hardware and software design of the system. Variable speed control system for self-controlled permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate the validity of proposed methods. This proposed control technique is implemented by using a microprocessor-based system.

  • In this paper we propose multi-functional telephone rejecting a simultaneous call at home or small office with several telephones in one line. Also we describe the protocol to transfer a call to the other telephone in different place with ease. So the proposed scheme can protect a personal privacy and provide the conveniency. Since the proposed phone is implemented with Holtek HT95C20P microprocessor, the most of functions can be easily changed accordance with user's needs.

  • In this paper a new distributive control system for BA(Building Automation ) lighting control used on general microprocessors is presented. For optimal lighting control and saving energy, The system have to control the group and pattern lighting control as well as individual light control at one time. Tn this paper, This functions are accomplished with low-cost and simple microprocessor. A plurality of modulated light control terminals are connected to the central control unit through a pair of power line. This power line provide both power and signal to the each terminal and the data is transmitted through cyclic time division multiplex transmission. With this structure a low-cost distributive control system for lighting applications has been achieved, allowing energy and maintenance saving and reliability increase of the light control system.

  • Accurate counting and packaging pills is one of the most fundamental works of the pharmaceutical industry. But it is so labor consuming and very hard to be automated. As the pharmaceutical industry is growing bigger, the need of counting and packaging automation is increasing to obtain effective mass production. Precise and quick sensing is required in the counting and processing of quickly dropping pills to improve the productivity. There are many trials for this automation and automatic machine. But the performance of the existing counting machine varies with the size, shape and the dispersion degree of pills In this research, authors design the counting and packing machine of medicinal pills that is more accurate and highly trustworthy After getting analog signal from optical sensor, pill passage is discriminated from chosen characteristic feature using microprocessor.
