  • This paper is to design an autobalancing system based-on microprocessor for hemodiafiltration (HDF) system. The proposed system consist of motor control part, thermostatic control part, alarm system and electronic scale which ar automatically controlled by microprocessor. Conventional hemodialysis system can not remove medium molecular articles but hemodialysis system with the proposed system can remove and infuse substitute to the patient. This system can be easily interfaced with any other conventional HD system. The results obtained from performance evaluation of the proposed system are suitable for clinical supporting system.

  • Recently, the microprocessor with network function based control system instead of conventional microprocessor is widely used for industrial applications, and also these technologies are widely adopted for train control and monitoring in modem rapid transit system. The purpose of this paper is to propose a criteria for data transmission, which was designed and realized through Korea High Speed Train. Noise, distortion and attenuation are always present in data transmission system and strictly limit performance. This paper describes a method to calculate the propagation constant, attenuation constant, phase velocity and length of stub.

  • In this paper, we designed the speed controller with high accuracy and speedy steady-state response, in Induction motor control system, Fuzzy P-1 controller of Induction motor using Microprocessor have an appropriate fuzzy rule matrix (which is 2-separate Look-up Table) The usefulness of proposed fuzzy P-1 controller will be confirmed by experiments which we compare with conventional P-1 controller.

  • This paper is concerned with the analysis of microprocessor-based PID control for the current source inverter-induction motor derive system. A linearized dynamic model of the motor is derived and is converted into the discrete-time model. With the equation, the overall system including the feedback loops is formulated into a single discrete-time state equation. The stability regions are determined at various values of controller gains. The transient responses of the motor speed are simulated by digital computer and are verified by laboratory experiments.

  • This paper describes the three-phase inverter system for 1/2[HP] induction servo motor, using TMS370C050 single-chip microprocessor. The Power MOSFETs are used for PWM inverter circuit because of the advantages such as less harmonic losses and smaller peak current, less torque ripples and noises. Single-chip microprocessor enables the whole controller to be simple and reduced size as well as to more stable and flexible. The basic structures are shown for the power circuit, including the protection and driving circuitry, and the control loops for inverter control functions. The experimental results are given for the prototype PWM inverter system.

  • This paper presents the result of driving performance analysis of PMSM type AC servo motor based on control system using a microprocessor. The experiment using the microprocessor is tested with a 120[v], 200[w] PMSM type AC servo motor. The PWM signal generated in the microprocessor for the servo motor voltage is chapped by power transistor modules to change the AC servo motor speed. The torque of the AC servo motor with a permanent magnet can be easily controlled over a wide range by changing the AC servo motor current.

  • With the advent of the high-speed microprocessor and DSP, the possibility of executing a control strategy in digital domain has become a reality. By the use of the DSP and microprocessor controller, many high power drive system may be enhanced resulting in the improved robustness to EMI, the ability to communicate the operating conditions and the ease of adjusting the control parameters. But, the digital controller using DSP or microprocessor is not applied in the high frequency switching power supplies, especially full bridge DC/DC converter. So, this paper presents the method and realization of designing a digital-to-phase shift PWM circuit for full digital controlled full bridge DC/DC converter with zero voltage switching. The operating principles, simulation and experimental results will be presented.

  • A simple digital control system has been developed for the frequency stabilization of an internal mirror He-Ne laser. The system is based on one chip microprocessor with embedded Basic interpreter. To stabilize the laser output frequency, the signal such as power difference or beat frequency between two modes is supplied and processed by a microprocessor, and control signal is fed to the heating coil would round the laser tube for adjusting the spacing of the laser cavity mirror. Newly developed frequency stabilization system is totally digitized. The system and the frequency stability performance are briefly described.

  • The pulse width modulated inverters based on fully digitalized method are becoming an industrial standard. This paper describes a real time generation of fully digitalized PWM pulses and its realization by single chip microprocessor. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed technique, the algorithm is implemented by using single chip microprocessor, 8097BH. The proposed method is compared with the well known triangular comparison method through experimental results, and the speed control of a motor is experimentally done by voltage-to-frequency constant control based on the proposed PWM generation method.

  • In recent years, induction motor is applied for several industrial actuatung parts instead of direct current motor because of the robust construction, nonexpensive and maintenance-free actuator etc. and having capability of speed control according to development of power electrounics and microprocessor techniques. In the paper, a microprocessor-based digital control approach for spped control of induction motor system is presented by considering a simple modelling equation as the system expression equation of induction motor and using the self tuning control and torque effdforward control method. As the model equation of the induction motor system, we use a second order differential equation which is well known in the modeling equation is induced form the control theory stand point such tath we can describe usually the motor system connected by inverter, generator and load etc. The effectiveness of the control system composed by the above mentioned design concept is illustrated by the expermental result in the presence of step reference change and generator load variation.
