Design and Implementation of a SDR-based Digital Filter for CDMA Systems

  • In this study, Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology-based digital filterbank architecture applicable to a multiple-channel processing system such as a wireless mobile communication system using Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology is proposed. The technique includes a micro-processor to redesign Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter coefficients according to specific system information and to download the filter coefficients to one digital Band Pass Filter (BPF) to reconfigure another system. The feasibility of the algorithm is verified by computer simulation and by implementing a multiple-channel signal generator that is reconfigurable to other system profiles, including those of a Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) system and a CDMA system.

  • This paper persents charge/discharge system for small PV using micro-processor. Charge/discharge system designs a Buck converter and using constant voltage charge system because regular voltage is rather high a condenser. Besides, we did compensate for charge voltage of condenser through a temperature compensation circuit. We consists of a 170W stand-alone PV system to observe charge/discharge system character. In the result of search about output character we know that charge and discharge are smoothly running.

  • The speed control system of induction motor without speed sensor is proposed in this paper. The speed of induction motor is calculated by motor terminal voltages and currents. The equations for speed calculation are derived and they are implemented on 16bit micro-processor Mc68000. The software and hardware for the Mc 68000 is developed. To prove the validity of the proposed method, the calculated speed is compared with the measured speed. The maximum speed error is nearly 1% in the overall range. The proposed speed calculation method is applied to the Current Source Inverter(CSI) fed induction motor drive system. The experimental results show the good dynamics and the resonable speed control accuracy.

  • In this paper, we present mSROS(Micro-Scalable Realtime Operating System) to be applied commonly to the device controller systems in the HANbit ACE256 system. The device controller systems in HANbit ACE256 system are organized as many kinds of device controller. Applying modified PPOS(Peripheral Processor Operating System)which is an operating system for devices of the TDX-10 switching system to the firmwares for them, the inefficiency in development and maintenance exists inherently. To remove the inefficiency nd to improve the performqance of firmwares, we build a common operating system platform that including multi-tasking microkernel so that the firmwares among devices can acquire convenient development and cheap cost of maintencance. Especially, building a virtual machine as a development methodology, it is possible to remove dependency from the kernel so that any kinds of commercial real-time kernels can be used in mSROS as a basic kernel. The virtual machine in mSROS is compatible with the API of SROS(Scalable Realtime Operating System), PPOS, and CROS(Concurrent Realtime Operating System).

  • A use of micro processor having H-com functions is gradually increased, and this paper describes the digital servo controller applied to linear pulse motor The TMS320LF2407, made by TI(Texas Instruments Co.), is used as a arithmetic unit in control circuit, designed f3r motor drive and available for the implement of high performance and miniaturization. Also, it can allow the sufficient debugging and downloading into control board for independent operation. A current control in order to carry out a position control is of a digital current control mode, and its implement confirmed the servo control performance of position control.

  • According to the MARPOL 73/78 of Convention, all ships should have oil filtering equipment and 15 ppm bilge which satisfy Requirements of MARPOL 73/78. This study is concerned with designing and manufacturing a prototype Oil content Meter(OCM) used in machinery area of ship. The prototype OCM is composed of two parts which are oil content sensing module and data processing unit. The oil content sensing module consists of infra-red light source, photo-diode light receivers, and a glass tube for bilge water sample. The data processing unit has a micro-processor as hard core and peripheral devices. The experimental results of prototype OCM and analysis of collected data reveal linear property between transmitted light and scattered light as long as the bilge water has low level content of oil. And this linear property leads to a oil content detecting method which is programmed and loaded into the data processing unit. The performance of the prototype OCM is compared with that of the commercial OCM in the market.

  • In this paper, finite thickness and tow phase effects on the mechanical behavior were studied numerically for plain weave textile composites. Unit cell analysis based on a superposition method was employed to simulate uniaxial tensile loading condition and macro-element post-processor was used to reduce computer resource requirement. The effective moduli and micro-stress distribution were calculated for finite thick plain weave composites with phase shifts. Single layer and infinitely thick configurations were also considered for comparison.

  • 인간의 행위에는 외부환경으로부터 감각정보가 입력되어 반응되는 무의식적인 행동과 뇌에 의한 추론과 인지에 의한 행동으로 분류할 수 있다. 동일한 환경 조건하에서의 인간 행위분류의 통해 활용 적합한 응용프로그램을 개발하여 적용하여 본다. 본 논문에서는 인간의 몸에 부착하여 움직임을 데이터로 분석할 수 있도록 행동인식 시스템을 개발하였다. 인간행동의 인식패턴을 분류하기 위해 Soft-Computing Algorithm을 행위 추출센서에 적용시킨 단독 시스템을 개발하여 센서모듈로부터 인간의 행동 패턴을 분류할 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 센서모듈은 3축 각속도 및 가속도 센서를 부착시킨 모듈로 Micro-Processor를 사용하여 모듈을 구성하였으며, 구축된 모듈은 인간의 몸에 착용하여 인간의 움직임을 디지털 데이터로 변환된다. 변환된 데이터를 무선통신을 통해 워크스테이션에 전달되어 인간행위에 대한 패턴분류 알고리즘 처리가 가능하며, 추출된 데이터를 기반으로 인간의 행동분석과 교정이 이루어 질 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서의 최종 시나리오는 운전자의 행동패턴을 이용한 행동 감지 및 서비스 시스템을 구성하는 데에 목적을 둔다.

  • In this paper, to design 8 bit RISC Microprocessor, a method of Clock Gating to reduce electric power consumption is proposed. In order to examine the priority, the comparison results of between a 8 bit Microprocessor which is not considered Low Power consumption and which is considered Low Power consumption using a methods of Clock Gating are represented. Within the a few periods, the results of comparing with a Microprocessor not considered the utilization of Clock Gating shows that the reduction of dynamic dissipation is minimized up to 21.56%.
