AlSiMg/TiC 복합 용사 피막 : 분말제조 및 피막 특성(I) (Thermal Sprayed AlSiMg/TiC Composite Coatings : Fabrication of Powder and Characteristics of Coatings (I))

  • Aluminum alloys are being employed in automobile parts as strive to reduce overall vehicle weight to meet demands for improved fuel economy and reduction in vehicle emissions. Al-based composites reinforced with ceramic ($Al_2O_3,\;SiC,\;TiC\;and\;B_4C$) applications in a variety of components in automotive engines, such as liners, where the tribological properties of the material are important. In this study, Al-base composites reinforced with TiC particle powders has been developed for producing plasma spray coatings. The composite plasma spray powders were prepared Al-13Si-3Mg(wt%) alloy with TiC(40, 60 and 80wt%) particles ($0.2~5{\mu}textrm{m}$) by drum type ball milling. The composite powders ($36~76{\mu}textrm{m}$) were sprayed with plasma torch. Plasma sprayed coatings were heat-treated at $500^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours. The wear resistances of the plasma sprayed coatings were found to decrease with increasing TiC content and improved with heat treatment. AlSiMg-40% TiC heat-treated coatings were showed the best wear resistance in this study.

  • Various $Zn_{2-x}SiO_4$:xMn based green phosphors were investigated in association with a co-dopant. The co-dopant incorporated into the phosphors are believed to alter the internal energy state of $Zn_{2-x}SiO_4$ : xMn So that the improvement in their intensity could be expected. Phosphor samples were prepared using the solid state reaction therein raw powders are mixed in the acetone and successively fired at $1300^{\circ}C$ for 4 hour. The fired powders are also heated up to $900^{\circ}C$ for 2 hour in the reduced atmoshpere and thereby giving The fired powders are also heated up to $900^{\circ}C$ for 2 hour in the reduced atmosphere and thereby giving rise to conspicuous enhancement of radiative efficiency. Basically the 0.08 mole ratio of the Mn con-centrations has the maximum value of the intensity so that a co-dopant are added to this Mn con-centration. When the Mg is co-doped with Mn luminescent intensity is proven to be promoted significantly.

  • Spherical $MgB_2$ powders was synthesized with the ultrasonic spray pyrolysis(USP) process using aqueous solutions of boron and magnesium ion. The properties of synthesized $MgB_2$ powder were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS. A small amount of MgO was detected as the secondary phase out of the synthesized powder and the ratios of $MgB_2$ to MgO increased with increasing furnace temperature. The particle size and morphology of $MgB_2$ powder were investigated with varying molar concentration of the boron and magnesium solution and furnace temperature between $600^{\circ}C$ and $1000^{\circ}C$ in $Ar/H_2$. The average particle size of $MgB_2$ showed narrow distribution ranging from 300nm to 400nm. The morphology of particles exhibited mostly spherical shapes and uniform distribution.

기계적합금화에 의한 Fe2O3-Mg계 연자성 콤포지트의 합성 및 평가 (Synthesis and characterization of soft magnetic composite in Fe2O3-Mg system by mechanical alloying)

  • 본 연구에서는 $Fe_2O_3$-Mg계 혼합분말을 사용하여 연자성 복합재료를 제조하기 위하여 기계적 합금화법(MA)을 적용하였다. 초미세 조직을 가진 연자성 ${\alpha}$-Fe/MgO 복합재료를 얻기 위하여 X선 회절, 열분석 및 자기특성 측정을 통하여 최적 볼밀조건 및 열처리 조건을 조사하였다. $Fe_2O_3$와 순금속 Mg의 혼합분말을 30분 동안 MA 처리한 결과. ${\alpha}$-Fe 기지에 MgO가 분산된 ${\alpha}$-Fe/MgO 복합분말을 얻을 수 있었다. MA 분말시료의 자화값은 볼밀처리 시간에 따라 증가하여 MA 5시간 시료에서 69.5 emu/g의 최대값이 관찰되었다. 또한 MA 처리에 의하여 ${\alpha}$-Fe의 결정립 미세화와 함께 보자력이 증가하는 자기경화 현상이 관찰되었다. MA 분말시료의 벌크화를 위하여 소결온도 $800{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$, 압력 60 MPa에서 SPS 소결을 실시하였다. X선 회절 결과로부터, 5시간 MA 처리한 분말을 $800^{\circ}C$에서 SPS 소결시킨 ${\alpha}$-Fe/MgO 연자성 복합재료의 경우 ${\alpha}$-Fe상 평균 결정립 크기가 110 nm임을 알 수 있었다.

MgB2 초전도 특성에 대한 나노 FexC 첨가 효과 (Effects of Nano FexC Addition on Superconducting Properties of MgB2)

  • The effects of nano $Fe_xC$ addition to superconducting properties of $in$ $situ$ processed $MgB_2$ superconductors was examined. 0.1 wt.% and 1 wt.% nano $Fe_xC$ powders were mixed with boron and magnesium powders by ball milling. The powder mixtures were made into pellets by uniaxial pressing. The pellets were heat-treated at $700^{\circ}C-900^{\circ}C$ in argon atmosphere for $MgB_2$ formation. It was found by powder X-ray diffraction that the raw powders were completely converted into $MgB_2$ after the heat treatment. The superconducting transition temperature ($T_c$) and critical current density ($J_c$), estimated from susceptibility-temperature and $M-H$ curves, were decreased by nano $Fe_xC$ addition. The $T_c$ and $J_c$ decrease by nano $Fe_xC$ addition are attributed to the incorporation of iron and carbon with $MgB_2$ lattices (Fe substitution for Mg and C substitution for B) due to the high reactivity of the nano $Fe_xC$ powder.

도토리 가루의 성분분석과 항산화능 평가 (Studies for Component Analysis and Antioxidative Evaluation in Acorn Powders)

  • 도토리 가루를 이용하여 기능성 식품개발을 목적으로 도토리 가루의 화학성분, 항산화 활성을 조사하였다. 일반성분은 탄수화물이 87.29%, 수분 10.57%, 조지방 1.18%, 조단백 0.84%, 회분 0.12% 순으로 나타났다. 도토리 가루에 가장 많은 무기성분으로는 K이 40.68mg/100g으로 나타났으며, 그 외 P(8.95mg/100g), Ca(8.64mg/100g), Mg(4.67mg/100g), Na(3.94mg/100g), Fe(1.41mg/100g) 순으로 나타났다. 구성당은 총 7종이 분리 동정되었으며, 그 중 glucose가 대부분으로 나타났고 rhamnose, galactose, arabinose, mannose, fucose, xylose 순으로 함유되어 있었다. 주요 지방산 조성은 oleic acid(C18:1)가 31.87%로 가장 높았고, linoleic acid(C18:2)는 18.72%, linolenic acid(C18:3)는 16.67% 그리고 palmitic acid(C16:0)가 11.32% 순으로 나타났다. 항산화 효과는 물 추출물에서 $IC_{50}$$19.0{\mu}g/mL$로 가장 높게 측정되었고 75% 에탄올 추출물$(IC_{50}:\;21.4{\mu}g/mL)$ 및 메탄올 추출물$(IC_{50}:\;45.2{\mu}g/mL)$순으로 항산화 효과가 측정되었다.

  • $MgB_2$ superconducting sheets have been fabricated by powder rolling method using mixture of Mg and B powders. Sheet-type $MgB_2$ bulk samples of ~10 mm width and 50-100 mm long were squeezed out after compacted by two rotating rolls of 130 mm diameter with gap distance of 0.5 mm and speed of ~40 cm/min (~1 rpm). The nominal composition of Mg, which is ductile metal, was added up to 30% to facilitate forming the $MgB_2$ sheets. The annealed samples at $900^{\circ}C$ and 3 hrs showed superconducting transition temperature of ~32 K and critical current densities at zero fields were ${\sim}10^5A/cm^2$ at 5 K and ${\sim}5{\times}10^4A/cm^2$ at 20 K.

  • The most common technique to fabricate $MgB_2$ superconducting wire is by powder-in-tube (PIT) technique. Therefore, the starting powder for the processing of $MgB_2$ superconductors is an important factor influencing the superconducting properties and performance of the conductors. In this study, the influence of magnesium precursor powders and annealing temperatures on the transition temperatures ($T_c$) and critical current densities ($J_c$) of $MgB_2/Fe$ wires was investigated. All the $MgB_2/Fe$ wires were fabricated by in situ PIT process. It was found that higher $J_c$ was obtained for $MgB_2$ wires with smaller particle size of magnesium precursor powders. The $J_c$ also increases with decreasing annealing temperatures.

  • NaCl과 KCl을 1 : 1 mole비로 한 용융염 합성법으로 $xPb(Fe_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3 - (1 - x)Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$(x=0-1.0)을 제조하였으며, 이의 분말 특성 및 유전성을 연구하였다. 용융염 합성법에 의해 제조된 $xPb(Fe_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3 - (1 - x)Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$의 분말은 $2 \mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 평균입도를 갖고 비교적 응집이 적었다. 용융법 합성법으로 제조된 $x0.3Pb(Fe_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-0.7Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ 세라믹스는 $1000{\times}C$에서 제조가 가능하며, 11,000이상의 유전상수를 갖는다.

  • 황산니켈염 수용액에서 가압수소환원법을 이용하여 알루미나 분말상에 니켈 코팅층을 형성하기 위하여 실험조건(수소분압, 반응온도, $PdCl_{2}$ 첨가량, 알루미나의 종류 및 입도)을 변화시키면서 니켈이온의 환원속도 및 석출상태를 조사하였다. 환원온도 $165^{\circ}C$, 수소분압 300 psi, 코팅촉매제 $PdCl_{2}\;2\;mg/\ell$를 첨가한 조건에서 균질한 니켈코팅층을 얻을 수 있었다.
