  • Recently, as the number of closed schools continues to increase due to the super aging society, low fertility rate, declining school age population, There are cases in which a new facility or space is being reborn by utilizing idle facilities and sites of a closed school. The use of closed schools can be largely understood in the context of urban regeneration, the purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the area where closed school occurred and to analyze the closure type using the evaluation standard of the decline area in urban regeneration projects. In this paper, we propose that the system and model of utilizing closed school in the library should be considered based on the characteristics, type, form, and implications of the are in which closed schools occurred which derived from research results.

  • The purpose of this study is to make objective decisions in the use of closed schools through the development of utilization indicators for the efficient use of closed schools, which is expected to increase continuously. The research phase was largely carried out by drawing preliminary indicators for use in closed schools, drawing final indicators using big data, and quantifying indicators, and finally objectifying them through quantification. The institution intends to apply and verify the facility based on future indicators. This study has implications for the application of big data analysis methods that have not been attempted in planning and research for the use of closed school facilities to date.

  • Technological development of information and communication have brought sharp changes to every sector such as society, culture, economy and education because of knowledge and information-oriented society. The number of classes has decreased, and some schools are closed or incorporated due to decrease of the population. Such phenomenon has brought changes to learning using digital technology and space. A change called digital innovation is characterized by interactive communication centering on the internet network. Therefore, it is very important to predict educational environment to be changed according to digital environment and to note how real learning space is changed. The development of digital technology in society in general presents two concepts of digital and contents, digitalized information. Such technology is recognized as a new paradigm in education sector and a new space is created through participation of instructors and learners in learning space. This study analysed cases of learning space of elementary schools based on bibliographical examination and related bibliography including data from academic presentations and news release to present developed leaning space. To present healthy and creative learning environment which can lead knowledge and information-based society in the future, the preface described the background, purpose, methods and range of the study, and analysed transitional processes of society and culture, digital learning contents, and learning space in education of elementary schools. Finally the study identified trends and cases of research on learning space and suggested digital learning contents space.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the school-based post-suicide crisis intervention program for adolescents. Researchers implemented the post-suicide crisis intervention program for all the students, classmate students, teachers and staff members in seven middle/high schools where the suicidal accident happened. Researchers collected data from the three participant groups using open and closed questionnaires and documents, and analysed the data applying mixed evaluative methods. Main results were as follows; First, classmates in two classrooms responded that this crisis intervention program was useful for expressing the sad feeling and mourning their friend. Second, consciousness for life respect of classmates in four classrooms increased. Third, the meaning such as the change of consciousness for life respect and psychological stability was drawn from analysis of categorizing the responses to open questionnaires. Teachers and staffs in six schools responded to questionnaires that post-suicide crisis intervention was helpful for classmate students. Based on the results, practical guidelines were suggested.

  • This study attempts to discover ways to prevent and cope with stress m primary school students, Specific, ally, we wish to investigate the sources of stress and to identify the variance and frequency of coping methods which have been used by the subjects. After examining the school children's list of items about stress and coping strategies by on open structure method, subjects ranked the seventy of stressor's and frequency of a coping strategies by closed structure method. A survey was done of 720 students who were from the 4th to 6th grade in 4 primary schools in the Chonbuk area from April 1st to May 30th, 1995. The major results obtained from this study were the following. 1. The sources of stress bad were classified in 57 items Among the 57 items, 'were school records' 'illness of parents' 'death of family members' 'meetings with trouble makers' ranked high ranking in the stress ratings. 2. Severity of stress. the mean total stress scores were 186.4 with 285 as the highest score. 3. The kinds of coping with stress using were classified in 35 items, Among the 35 items, 'wandering and walking alone' 'mood getting out of the in any way' 'trying to forget the stressor' 'were among the highest scored. 4. Frequency of coping with stress: mean total stress coping scores were 67.9 with 140 as the highest score. 5. Difference m stress and coping strategies between sex, age, living district and religion groups were examined. 1) Significant variables influencing stress scoring were sex (t=-2,29, p<.001) and grade (F=6.33, p<.001). 2) Significant variables influencing stress coping practice were residence (t=1.94, p<.05), sex (t=-3.17, p<.002) and religion (F=5,95, p<.0001).

  • From 2019, software education has become a required subject for all elementary school students. However, many teachers are still unfamiliar with how the classes should be instructed. So this paper presented the meaning, detailed competencies and achievement standard in order to help in the collection, analysis and representation of data among the computational thinking that are key to software education. And it also suggested the applicability of the classes. The full course of the paper is summarized as follows. First, existing studies have summarized the meaning, detail and achievement standard of data related competencies. Based on this, a preliminary investigation was instructed. Pilot study carried out both FGI and closed questions at the same time. This was done in response to the survey's questionnaire reflecting the opinions of experts. Second, the results of the questionnaire generated as a result of the above were verified for validity, stability, and reliability among the PhD, PhD courses, software education teachers, and software education workers. Third, I developed and applied the five lessons as a class objective as 'Choosing collection method-Select the collection method according to the problem situation.', 'Searching for meaning of data-Understand what the analyzed data mean..', 'Using various expression methods-Use a variety of expression tools.' using the backward design model to integrate education, class, and assessment. As a result, the detailed competencies of data collection, analysis, and representation and achievement standard were presented. This may help in setting specific and specific criteria for what direction classes are recommended when planning data-related classes in elementary schools.
