  • This paper presents an efficient filtering system for a metastable state-based true random number generator. To output a result with high randomness, we use loop-storage for storing the value of metastability. During the metastable state, the output value is accumulated to the storage. When the non-metastable state arises, the stored metastable value will be used for output instead of the result of the non-metastable state. As a result, we can maintain high entropy together with the original throughput.

  • When the input of synchronizer which is used for the purpose of synchronizing the master clock of computer with the interrupt system, a sort of random variable device, is gated with asynchronous intersection of the fall time of the master clock and the risetime oi the interrupt request, synchronizer is drived in Metastable region. This paper is presented circuit analysis of Metastable phenomena and analysis for transient process from metastable point to stable state, and also realities the collect logic with Inverter and open collector methods with a view to improving logic failure caused by the mishappen phenomena.

  • In this study, a series of $LaMnO_3$-diamond composites with varied $LaMnO_3$ mass contents supported on micro-diamond have been synthesized using a sol-gel method. The as-prepared composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Raman spectroscopy and the Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR). Meanwhile, the photocatalytic performances were also tested by photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectra (UV-Vis DRS) and the degradation of weak acid red C-3GN (RC-3GN). Results show that the peak position of $LaMnO_3$ is shifted to low angle after the introduction of diamond, and perovskite particles uniformly distributed on the surface of diamond, forming a network structure, which can increase the active sites and the absorption of dye molecules. When the mass ratio of $LaMnO_3$ and diamond is 1:2 (LMO-Dia-2), the composite shows the most excellent photocatalytic activity. This result offers a sample route to enlarge the range of the application of micro-diamond and provide a new carrier for perovskite photocatalysts.

  • We find a metastable vortex state of the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy free layer in spin transfer torque magnetic tunneling junctions by using micromagnetic simulations. The metastable vortex state does not exist in a single layer, and it is only found in the trilayer structure with the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy polarizer layer. It is revealed that the physical origin is the non-uniform stray field from the polarizer layer.

  • We study on Argon metastable and 4p state neutral atom density in magnetized ICP Helicon plasmas by Laser Induced Fluorescence and plasma emission. The results show that metastable density is too low at the center of chamber due to significant neutral depletion. Otherwise, 4p state is high at the center of chamber because electron density is very high. Power and pressure dependence of metastable and 4p state neutral atom have been spatially measured in the radial direction of cylindrical chamber.

  • To improve the luminescence characteristics of high-efficiency alternating-current plasma display panels (AC-PDPs), we developed a new hoof-type electrode structure, and we studied the spatiotemporal behavior of the density of the excited Xenon atom in the $1s_5$ metastable state via laser absorption spectroscopy. Using this structure, the maximum density of the excited Xenon atom per cell was improved by 2.4 times that when the conventional electrode structure was used.

  • Metastable statates, resonant states in 4s level and excited states in 4p level were investigated with a simple global model and examined by the LIF experiments. Metastable states exhibit an anomalous behavior with the plasma density, on the other hands, other states show monotonous increasing behaviors. It turns out that the metastable state can have such an anomalous behavior due to its special characteristic, electric dipole radiation forbidden. It is expected to resolve the ambiguity of previously reported metastable density behaviors and provide further understanding.

  • In this paper, we introduced a LIF measurement method and summarized the theoretical side. When an altered wavelength of laser and electric power, lamp applied electric power, we measured the relative density of the metastable state in mercury after observing a laser induced fluorescence signal of 404.8nm and 546.2nm, and confirmed the horizontal distribution of plasma density in the discharge lamp. Due to this generation, the extinction of atoms in a metastable state occurred through collision, ionization, and excitation between plasma particles. The density and distribution of the metastable state depended on the energy and density of plasma particles, intensely. This highlights the importance of measuring density distribution in plasma electric discharge mechanism study. The results confirmed the resonance phenomenon regarding the energy level of atoms along a wavelength. change, and also confirmed that the largest fluorescent signal in 436nm, and that the density of atoms in 546.2nm ($6^3S_1{\to}6^3P_2$) were larger than 404.8nm ($6^3S_1{\to}6^3P_2$). According to the increase of lamp applied electric power, plasma density increased, too. When increased with laser electric power, the LIF signal reached a saturation state in more than 2.6mJ. When partial plasma density distribution along a horizontal axis was measured using the laser induced fluorescence method, the density decreased by recombination away from the center.

  • In a previous work we reported the bistable property by doping a chiral material in a splay cell. The bistable states are the splay state and the metastable 180$^{\circ}$twist state. The retention time of the metastable state can be changed by the variation of d/p (cell gap over pitch), cell gap, pretilt angle, azimuthal anchoring force, liquid crystal material, and so on. In this paper we will present uniform bend transition and twist retention time improvement in a multi-domain BCSN LC cell by using the multi cell gap method.
