  • 22,000 Ton hydraulic press was developed using wire winding method. The hydraulic press consists of three piece of frame type. The outer layers of yoke-column frame and main cylinder linear were wound with piano wire(1mm${\times}$4mm) under controlled tension and the total length of wound wire was about 450Km. The developed hydraulic press is used for the forming of heat plate with ultra-large size. To obtain large force with relative small apparatus, high pressure of $1,500 Kgf/cm^2$ was supplied to main cylinder through pressure amplification by booster pump. Therefore sealing technique of main cylinder is so crucial that the seals were made of mitre ring type with super-elastic metal. The press total weight is about 150 tons, which is quite light and compact relative to that of conventional hydraulic press.

  • This paper reports on an LTCC-based packaging method using Au/Sn eutectic bonding process for RF MEMS applications. The proposed packaging structure was realized by a micromachining technology. An LTCC substrate consists of metal filled vertical via feedthroughs for electrical interconnection and Au/Sn sealing rim for eutectic bonding. The LTCC capping substrate and the glass bottom substrate were aligned and bonded together by a flip-chip bonding technology. From now on, shear strength and He leak rate will be measured then the fabricated package will be compared with the LTCC package using BCB adhesive bonding method which has been researched in our previous work.

상용차 오일압력 측정용 압력센서 제작을 위한 레이저용접기술 (Development of Laser Welding Technology for Commercial Vehicle Oil Pressure Sensor)

  • Using a fiber laser heat source, an oil pressure sensor was fabricated to measure the pressure in commercial vehicles. A stepping motor was used for the rotational and translational motion in the diaphragms and hardware joining. Laser welding process algorism including shielding gas control and vision system was integrated by using LabVIEW software for the high quality welding and in-line monitoring purpose. For the maximum flexibility in pressure transmission to the pressure sensor, thin sheet metal diaphragm, $25{\sim}50{\mu}m$(SUS-316L), was used and the diaphragms were optimally designed with FEM analysis. The welded samples were cross-sectioned the observation showed that the maximum depth ratio was more than seven times of diaphragms. The maximum welding speed was measured to be as high as 50in/mm by the developed automation mechanism. The fabricated prototypes were tested for the proof pressure, spring constant and sealing. The FEM results of spring constant measurement was as accurate as up to 80% of the design value and the sensor was safely operated up to the nominal pressure of 10bars.

포장방법에 따른 데침나물의 저장중 품질변화 (Effects of Packaging Method on the Quality of Blanched Namul during Storage)

  • 데침 나물류의 품질유지에 효과적인 포장방법을 개발하기 위하여 포장 방법에 따른 데친 나물의 저장 중 품질변화를 조사하였다. 고사리, 토란대, 취나물, 시래기를 데친 후 비닐포장, 밀봉포장, 진공포장 방법으로 각각 개별 포장하여 $10^{\circ}C$에서 10일 동안 저장하면서 미생물 검사, 경도, pH, 냄새성분 분석을 수행하였다. pH는 데침 나물의 종류에 따라 상이했고 데친 취나물과 데친 시래기의 경우 포장방법에 따른 유의적인 차이가 있었다. 경도는 저장기간이 늘어날수록 모든 시료에서 감소하는 경향을 보였고 진공포장을 한 데친 고사리와 데친 취나물에서 경도가 상대적으로 높은 경도를 유지하였다. 데침 나물의 미생물 검사 결과 모든 시료가 저장기간 동안 호기성세균과 대장균군수가 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 대장균은 검출되지 않았다. 포장방법별 데침나물의 균수는 진공<밀봉<비닐 순으로 높게 나타났다. 전자코를 이용한 냄새성분은 전반적으로 모든 시료구에서 포장방법에 따른 냄새패턴 변화율이 차이가 났으며 제 1주성분값은 positive에서 negative로 이동하는 경향을 나타내었다. 포장방법에 있어서 진공포장방법이 냄새성분의 변화율이 가장 낮았다. 저장기간 동안의 냄새변화율은 비닐포장의 경우 데친 고사리와 데친 취나물은 저장 7일, 데친 시래기는 저장 3일 이후부터 냄새의 변화가 급격한 반면 진공포장은 저장기간 동안 냄새변화가 거의 없었다. 결론적으로 저장기간 동안 포장 조건에 따른 데친 나물의 품질 유지에 있어서 진공포장이 가장 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 금속용사 또는 도장은 강구조물의 방식에 널리 사용되고 있다. 금속용사와 도장의 복합피복방식법은 혹독한 부식환경하에 놓인 강구물의 새로운 일반적 피복방식법으로 선택되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아연, 아연-15%알루미늄 합금, 알루미늄, 알루미늄-5%마그네슘 합금의 4종류 금속용사 후 실링 처리한 시편, 4종류 금속용사 후 중방식 도장한 시편과 도장한 시편에 대해 175일간의 NORSOK M-501 부식촉진실험, 250일간의 해수 Wet/dry 반복 부식실험, 3년간의 해양환경 옥외노출실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 외관관찰에 근거하여 각 방식법의 내후성능을 비교, 검토하였다.

상아질 지각과민 완화법이 접착용 시멘트의 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Dentin Desensitization Treatment on the Shear Bond Strength of Luting Cements)

  • Statement of problem: The sealing of the opened dentinal tubules that follows the tooth preparation for the prosthodontic restoration is considered as clinical process to reduce postoperative sensitivity. Purpose: This study investigated the effect of desensitization treatment on shear bond strength of luting cements. Materials and Method: Total 80 dentin specimens were divided into two groups according to the kinds of luting cements. Each groups was further divided into 4 subgroups with AQ $bond^{(R)}$, $Saforide^{(R)}$, Diode laser $MDL-10^{(R)}$ application and without desensitization treatment. After desensitization treatment application, Ni-Cr specimens were luted to dentin surface with Fuji $CEM^{(R)}$ and $Panavia-F^{(R)}$. Specimens were placed in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours and shear bond strength between metal and dentin was measured by a universal testing machine. Results: 1. In Fuji $CEM^{(R)}$ cemented groups, the combination of AQ $bond^{(R)}$ showed the greatest strength, followed by diode laser, no desensitizer treatment, and $Saforide^{(R)}$. Both AQ $bond^{(R)}$ and Diode laser groups had a significant difference than no desensitization treatment group and $Saforide^{(R)}$ group(p<0.05). 2. In $Panavia-F^{(R)}$ cemented groups, the combination of Diode laser showed the greatest strength, followed by AQ $bond^{(R)}$, $Saforide^{(R)}$, and No desensitization treatment. All desensitization treatment groups had a significant difference than no desensitization treatment group(p<0.05). 3. All $Panavia-F^{(R)}$ groups showed a significant higher shear bond strength than all Fuji $CEM^{(R)}$ groups(p<0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study showed possibility of bond strength increase after desensitization treatment. The application of desensitization treatments like AQ $bond^{(R)}$, $Saforide^{(R)}$, and Diode laser $MDL-10^{(R)}$ have advantages in exposed dentin surface after tooth prep.

약침액(藥鍼液) 제조법(製造法)에 대한 문헌적(文獻的) 고찰(考察) (The Study on The Method of Manufacturing Herbal Acupuncture)

  • This study is designed to investigate the method of manufacturing herbal acupuncture through literature of oriental medicine. The findings of this study are as follows; 1. The methods of manufacturing herbal acupuncture go through the process of abstraction, purification, mixing, filtration, putting and tight sealing in the container, sterilization, quality control, printing and packing 2. There are many ways to manufacturing herbal acupuncture, for example water-alcohol precipitation, alcohol-water precipitation, liquid-liquid abstract, acid-base abstract, metal base precipitation, distillation, molecular structure, polyamide absorption, dialysis, and ion exchange, etc. And popular method is water-alcohol precipitation. This is through alcohol precipitate extracting the principal ingredients from water abstraction. This is very simple and efficient way using melting characteristics of compounds in herb to water and ethanol. 3. Sterilization of herbal acupuncture is through heating-pressure, boiling, steam flowing, low temperature, filtering, radiation, cooling, and microwaves. Nowadays filtering is commonly used. And sterilization is estimated by an examination of asepsis . 4. Herbal acupuncture must be undergo study and experiment to clinical use. The problems of herbal acupuncture are turbidity, instability, causing hemolysis, pain, and fever. So many provisions (addition, sterilization, and filtration etc.) must be prepared. 5. The theory of manufacturing herbal acupuncture is from oriental medicine, not western. So it must be corresponded to oriental medical theory, for example Gimi(氣味), Guigyung(歸經), Ingyung(引經), Bosa(補瀉), and Match of Herb. It is recommended that further study of many other sided investigations in the future.

고전압 장비 지그의 동특성에 대한 위상, 형상 및 치수 최적화 (Topology, Shape and Sizing Optimization of the Jig Supporting High Voltage Pothead)

  • 본 논문에서는 Pothead를 지지하는데 사용하는 지그의 고유진동수를 일정 범위로 제한하여 Pothead와 공진을 일으키지 않도록 하는 지그의 최적 설계안을 제시한다. 쿤 터커(Kuhn-Thucker) 조건을 적용한 최적기준법(Optimality criteria method)을 사용하여 위상 최적화를 수행하였고, 이 과정에서 유한요소 크기기 최적 형상에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 또한 위상 최적화 결과를 바탕으로 실험 계획법(Design of experiments)과 반응 표면법(Response surface method)을 사용하여 형상 및 치수 최적화를 수행하여 비교용 지그에 비해 전체 질량이 30% 감소되는 결과를 얻었다. 마지막으로 최적화된 지그의 내진 해석을 수행한 Pothead의 응답은 Metal Handbook에서 제시된 내진 응답을 만족하고 있다.

동피복 복합선재 제조를 위한 연속주조공정의 최적화 (The Optimization of Continuous Casting Process for Production of Copper Clad Steel Wire)

  • The copper clad steel wire is used extensively as lead wires of electronic components such as capacitors, diodes and glass sealing lamp because the wire combines the strength and low thermal expansion characteristic of Fe-Ni steel with the conductivity and corrosion resistance of copper. In order to fabricate the copper clad steel wire, several processes including electro-plating, tubecladding extrusion process and dip forming process have been introduced and applied. The electroplating process for the production of copper clad steel wire shows poor productivity and induces environmental load generation such as electroplating solution. The dip forming process is suitable to mass production of copper clad steel such as trolley wire. and need expensive manufacturing facilities. The present paper describes the improvement of the conventional continuous casting process to fabricate copper clad steel wire, which its core metal is low thermal expansion Fe-Ni alloy and its sheath material is copper. In particular, the formation of intermetallic compound at interface between core and sheath was investigated in order to introduce optimum continuous casting process parameter for fabrication of copper clad steel wire with higher electrical conductivity. The mechanical strength of copper clad steel wire was also investigated through wiredrawing process with of 95% in total reduction ratio.

이산화탄소 포집용 극박형 Pd-Cu 멤브레인 접합 (Joining Foil-typed Pd-Cu Membranes to Collect CO2 Gas)

  • We present a new joining method for Pd-Cu membrane foils used as permeation tubes to collect $CO_2$. Since foils have poor mechanical strength, joining should be done at low temperatures to reduce residual stresses and without joining pressure. This contradicts the well known conditions for good contact between base materials that determines joint qualities. We selected Sn-Ag-Cu alloys that are highly reactive with Pd and Cu as a filler metal. As the filler melts at joining temperatures as low as $220{\sim}280^{\circ}C$, Pd and Cu are dissolved into the melt and react with the filler elements, which raises the melting temperature of the filler based on eutectic structures among the elements. Then, isothermal solidification progresses for the rest of the joining time. Intermetallic compounds (IMC) in the joints, one of the main factors for brittle joints, are inevitably formed. However, by optimizing both joining time and temperature, we balanced the wettability with IMC. Sealing test results confirmed that the joints are mechanically reliable during operation.
