Scattered satellite images were collected and converted from TDF to HDF as a standard format. We reviewed all the metadata on the images domestic and abroad and set up the metadata for the meteorological satellite images and naming rules in KMA. The satellite information search system that meteorological satellite images were in service with metadata for public and academic fields was implemented for quick search and download. This system will facilitate satellite images for various academic purposes beyond KMA and management functions of the system make routine workflow to manage satellite images in an ease and standardized way.

본 연구에서는 게임콘텐츠의 저작권 보호, 유통 및 관리의 효율화를 제공해 게임산업을 활성화하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 게임 UCI 식별 메타데이터를 설계하였다. 설계 방법은 호환성을 위하여 국제표준인 메타데이터 매핑절차를 따랐다. 따라서 기존 9개의 요소로 구성되어 있는 UCI 메타데이터에 게임의 특성을 반영하여 3개 요소는 재정의하고, date, patch date, grade의 3개 요소는 추가하였다. 이렇게 설계된 게임 UCI 식별 메타데이터는 총 12개의 요소로 구성된다. 이 결과를 전문가 인터뷰와 일반 이용자 설문을 통해 검증하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과를 게임 UCI 식별 메타데이터 관리 시스템으로 구축하여 여러 기관들이 활용할 수 있도록 발전시키고자 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 현용 및 준현용 기록관리에 관한 국제표준인 ISO 15489를 기준으로 행정기관의 기록관리 메타데이터 요소를 분석하고 이를 통해 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우선 기록관리 메타데이터의 특성과 요건에 대해 살펴보았다. 다음에는 선행연구를 토대로 ISO 15489의 기능적 요건을 만족시킬 수 있는 메타데이터 요소를 기술영역과 관리영역으로 나누어 추출하고 정리하였다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 우리나라 전자문서시스템 및 자료관시스템의 메타데이터 요소를 평가하고 보안사항을 제안하였다.

다양한 분야에서 방대한 데이터를 효율적으로 정확하게 처리하고 데이터 처리 오류 및 처리속도를 최소화하기 위한 시스템을 적용하기 위하여 연구와 노력이 진행되고 있다. 이에 이 논문에서는 생애주기 전반에 걸쳐 방대한 데이터가 생성되는 LNG 플랜트 프로젝트 중 공사원가의 65~70% 이상을 차지하는 구매조달 단계의 Logistics 업무를 대상으로 업무 간 생성되는 데이터에 메타데이터를 적용함으로써 정보 검색 시 데이터 처리 오류 및 처리속도를 최소화할 수 있는 메타데이터 시스템을 적용하였다. 이러한 메타데이터 시스템을 통하여 정보 검색 시 시스템 사용자가 필요한 정보에 보다 정확하고 빠르게 접근할 수 있다

본 논문은 레거시를 통합 검색하기 위한 방안으로 XMDR을 확장하는 방안을 제안한다. 이러한 확장은 메타데이터의 관리를 위한 메타 시멘틱 온톨로지, 위치 정보를 위한 메타 로케이션, 그리고 시멘틱 웹을 표현하기 위한 표준 언어인 토픽맵을 결합한다. 본 논문에서는 이것을 TMDR(Topic Map MetaData Registry)이라 한다. 토픽맵은 지식계층으로 인덱스와 같은 역할을 수행한다. 그러나 토픽맵은 데이터의 변화가 빈번한 경우에는 효율이 떨어질 수 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 시스템은 메타 데이터 사이의 관계, 실제 데이터 사이의 관계 그리고 메타데이터와 실제 데이터 사이의 관계를 토픽맵으로 표현한다. 표현된 토픽맵은 메타 데이터 간의 관계로 인해 실제 데이터간의 관계 변화를 줄이는 방안을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 국가연구데이터커먼즈에서 연구데이터 분석·활용에 사용되는 컴퓨팅 리소스를 등록, 검색, 관리하기 위한 컴퓨팅 리소스 표준 메타데이터 스키마 설계 방안에 대해 소개한다. 국가연구데이터커먼즈는 연구데이터 공유·활용 극대화를 위한 연구데이터와 컴퓨팅 리소스 연합 활용 체계이다. 컴퓨팅 리소스는 연구 전 과정에서 사용하는 연구데이터를 분석·활용하는데 필요한 분석 인프라, 분석 소프트웨어 등 컴퓨팅 환경의 모든 리소스들을 말한다. KRDC 컴퓨팅 리소스 관리를 위한 표준 메타데이터 스키마는 컴퓨팅 리소스 관리를 위한 공통 필수 속성과 각 컴퓨팅 리소스 특징에 따른 속성을 고려하여 설계하였다. 컴퓨팅 리소스 관리를 위한 표준 메타데이터 스키마는 컴퓨팅 리소스 메타데이터 스키마와 컴퓨팅 리소스 제공자 메타데이터 스키마로 구성된다. 또한, 컴퓨팅 리소스와 제공자의 메타데이터 스키마는 성격에 따라 서비스 스키마와 시스템 스키마 그룹으로 구분하여 설계하였다. 표준 메타데이터 스키마는 KRDC 프레임워크를 통해 컴퓨팅 리소스 제공자와 컴퓨팅 리소스 사용자를 위한 컴퓨팅 리소스 등록, 카탈로그 검색, 컴퓨팅 리소스 관리, 워크플로우 서비스에 사용되며, 다양한 컴퓨팅 리소스 연계를 위해 확장 가능한 형태로 설계되었다.

Data warehouse is an intelligent store of data. A metadata is critical for implementing data warehouse. Integrating data warehouse with its metadata helps create a more adaptive information system. This paper proposes a metadata-oriented data warehouse architecture that consists of seven components: legacy, extracting, operational data store, data warehouse, data mart, application, and metadata. A taxonomy for dataflow and metaflow is proposed for better understanding of the architecture. In addition, a metadata schema is built within the framework of the seven components. Lastly, the architecture with its metadata component is applied to a real-life data warehouse project for a large medical center in order to illustrate its practical usefulness.

This study is aimed at developing the system to manage the process and metadata of spatial data construction. The process of spatial data construction is standardized by analyzing knowhow of major firms and the provisions of MOCT(Ministry of the Construction and Transportation), and by appling the development methodology of information system. The system from this study has the capability to manage efficiently the process and metadata of spatial data construction. The process is shown by using index map. Also, it is shown by using Gantt chart and PERT chat after developing the interface for MS Project. The metadata is generated from the process, and managed systematically.

Even though we have greater chances to accomplish successful collaborative design by utilizing recent proliferation of networks, current practices do not fully take advantage of the information infrastructure. There are so much data over the networks, but not enough knowledge about the data is available to users. The main objectives of the product data interface system proposed in this paper are to capture more knowledge on managing product data and to provide users effective search capability. We define the metadata model for product data defined in STEP AP 203 and manage the metadata from product data in a repository system. Because we utilize the standard formats such as STEP for product data and RDF for metadata, the proposed approach can be applied to various fields of industries independently on commercial products.

북한인권기록은 가해자 처벌 및 피해자 보상의 목적으로 수집되며, 다양한 기관에서 생성되는 만큼 체계적이고 통합적인 관리가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 북한인권기록을 위한 메타데이터를 제안하는 것을 목적으로 두고 있다. 국내외 3개 기관과 2개의 인권기록 소프트웨어를 분석하여 인권기록 관리를 위한 공통요소와 필요 요소를 도출하였으며, 부족한 부분은 UN의 가이드라인을 참고하였다. 메타데이터는 총 15개의 상위요소와 그에 따른 하위요소로 구성하였다. 제안된 상위요소는 각각 13개의 필수요소와 2개의 해당요소로 구성하였다.
