This study examined the correlation between the variables related to the organizational commitment of social workers. The research results are as follows. First, the overall effect size of the variable group had an intermediate effect size. Among the four organizational commitment-related variables, the job-related negative variable had the largest effect size. Next, the group of positive variables related to the organization, the group of positive variables related to the job, and the group of individuals related to the individual were in order. Second, among the individual-related variables, experience, gender, and education showed a small effect size, and other factors were close to the small effect size. In the group of positive variables related to organization, all variables except for transactional leadership and organizational fairness, which had a medium effect size, showed a large effect size. The job-related positive variables showed a large effect size only for job satisfaction, and customer orientation and job suitability were close to the large effect size. The turnover intention, which is a group of job-related negative variables, had a large effect size and job stress showed a medium effect size.
This study aims to find out the key factors that could influence on regional development strategy to use cultural resources. The methods employed are Meta-analysis with 61 case studies in order to draw related factors and Analytic Hierarchy Process with 68 experts in order to analyze the relative importance of important factors. The main findings are as follows: 26 critical factors are drawn from the case studies and they could be classified into four categories, named as 'the capacity building to excavate and utilize cultural resources which are having potential power', 'the establishment of institutional basis for making projects good progress', 'the boosting of internal capability of locals in the process of project', and 'the preparation of cultural governance and multidirectional networking strategies among persons concerned or stakeholder'. The analysis of relative importance of factors shows that among others, 'the capacity building to excavate and utilize cultural resources which are having potential power' is the most fundamental factors to achieve policy goals. There are few studies that have drawn factors from multi-case studies. In this respect, it is far from being complete but meaningful to a little more enhance the generalization of research findings.

The objective of the study was to undertake a phylogenetic diversity census of ruminal archaea based on a meta-analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences that were publicly available in the Ribosomal Database Project. A total of 8,416 sequences were retrieved from the Ribosomal Database Project (release 11, update 5) and included in the construction of a taxonomy tree. Species-level operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were analyzed at a 97% sequence similarity by using the QIIME program. Of the 8,416 sequences, 8,412 were classified into one of three phyla; however, the remaining four sequences could not be classified into a known phylum. The Euryarchaeota phylum was predominant and accounted for 99.8% of the archaeal sequences examined. Among the Euryarchaeota, 65.4% were assigned to Methanobrevibacter, followed by Methanosphaera (10.4%), Methanomassillicoccus (10.4%), Methanomicrobium (7.9%), Methanobacterium (1.9%), Methanimicrococcus (0.5%), Methanosarcina (0.1%), and Methanoculleus (0.1%). The 7,544 sequences that had been trimmed to the V2 and V3 regions clustered into 493 OTUs. Only 17 of those 493 OTUs were dominant groups and accounted for more than 1% of the 7,544 sequences. These results can help guide future research into the dominant ruminal methanogens that significantly contribute to methane emissions from ruminants, research that may lead to the development of anti-methanogenic compounds that inhibit these methanogens regardless of diet or animal species.
We evaluated mineralogical, physical property and accelerated weather resistance of cinnabar, realgar and orpiment used as cultural heritages and traditional paintings. JB and JS are sample names of cinnabar and JH and UH are sample names of orpiment and Realgar, respectively. As a result of mineralogical property evaluation, Jinsa was identified cinnabar (HgS) and there was no difference in chemical composition according to the grade. UH and JH were confirmed realgar (AsS) and orpiment (As2S3), respectively. The polarization characteristics such as shape and color indicate that pigments using our test were natural mineral pigment observed by polarization microscope. Especially, in the case of cinnabar, it is not easy to distinguish between natural mineral pigment and synthetic pigment. But the results of polarization microscope said that cinnabar is natural occurring mineral which have authentic mineral particle and unevenly fracture. As a result of thermal analysis, JH has a higher glass transition temperature and heat stability than UH. After accelerated weather test, cinnabar, realgar and orpiment were striking result in color change because of light degradation. Red color of cinnabar turn into black and the color of realgar and orpiment became brighter than before. JB (meta-cinnabar) is more photosensitivity and faster becoming dark than JB (cinnabar). Finally light transforms realgar (red, As4S4) in arsenolite (As2O3).
Objective: The need to bond orthodontic brackets onto various alloys has increased because of the increasing demand for adult orthodontic treatment. This study tried to evaluate the shear bond strength between gold alloy and metal bracket using light emitting diode (LED) light curing after metal primer and silicoating surface conditioning. Methods: Half of the type III gold alloy plates were treated with sandblasting with aluminum oxide and metal primer containing 4-META. the other half were treated with silica and silane. Metal brackets were bonded with Transbond XT light curing adhesive on these plates and shear bond strength were evaluated 1 hour, 6 hours, and 24 hours later. The differences of shear bond strength between groups were evaluated with two-way ANOVA. Results: The results showed higher bond strength in the silicoating group and a tendency of bond strength increase over time. Conclusions: When using LED curing lights for metal bracket bonding to alloy surfaces, long curing time and silicoating can produce a reliable bonding strength.
Background: Macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) -173G/C (rs755622) gene polymorphism has been associated with cancer risk. Previous studies have revealed that MIF -173G/C gene polymorphism may increase cancer in the Chinese population, while results of individual published studies remain inconsistent and inconclusive.We performed this meta-analysis to derive a more precise estimation of the relationship. Materials and Methods: We conducted a search on PubMed, Embase, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang, Weipu on Dec 31, 2014.Odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) were used to assess the association. A total of eight studies including 2,186 cases and 2,285 controls were involved in this meta-analysis. Results: The pooled results indicated the significant association between MIF -173G/C polymorphism and the risk of cancer for Chinese population (CC + CG vs GG: OR=1.14, 95%CI=1.02-127, pheterogeneity<0.01; P=0.023; CC vs CG+GG: OR=1.12, 95%CI=1.02-1.23, pheterogeneity<001; P=0.017;CC vs GG: OR=1.18, 95%CI=1.04-1.33, pheterogeneity<001; P=0.008; CG vs GG:OR=1.03, 95%CI=0.91-1.15, pheterogeneity<001; P=0.656; C vs G:OR=1.24, 95%CI=1.14-1.25, pheterogeneity<001; P<001). Subgroup analysis showed that in patients with "solid tumors", heterogeneity was very large (OR=0.94,95%CI=0.83-1.06,pheterogeneity=0.044; p=0.297). Within "non-solid tumors", the association became even stronger (OR=6.62, 95 % CI=4.32-10.14, pheterogeneity<0.001; p<0.001). Conclusions: This study suggested that MIF -173G/C gene polymorphism may increase increase cancer in the Chinese population.Furthermore, more larger sample and representative population-based casees and well-matched controls are needed to validate our results.
The aim of this study was to survey the effects of planned exercise over the age of 65 in male and female with regard to their self-efficacy, depression, and life satisfaction, based on the literatures of 14 master and doctoral dissertations published between 2004 and 2014. The subjects with program exercise habit were chosen considering the generalization of the physical characteristics of elderly subjects. The exercise duration was 50 minutes for 3 times a week for 12 to 24 weeks. Exercise intensity was an optimal aerobic exercise plan that the subjects themselves could perform. The average effect size of self-efficacy was 0.793 (26.1% increased), depression was -0.91(31.9% decreased), and life satisfaction was 1.506 (43.4% increased). These indicate that post-exercise psychological variables had a positive effect on self-efficacy and life satisfaction by lowering depression after regular exercise. Therefore, it is necessary to increase regular exercise participation and to provide sustainable scientific information for the aged and healthy living of the elderly.
It is common in foreign countries to make a compensative plan for environmental destruction which is caused by development action even in where development is permitted. But, in Korea, environmental plan was regarded as just meeting the legal standard of green area in site development. This study focused on the case of university project, LG village plan, is to evaluate the environment of the site using Hemeroby and suggested restoration plan in compensation for the destructive. The site was a huge development area of apartment located in Suwon. First of all, we evaluated the site using Hemeroby and compared this with LG village plan. Then, we made a compensative plan for the environmental destruction which was not compensated in LG village plan. The results were as follows; $\beta$-/$\alpha$-euhemeroby of the Site was 80.1% before the development and, after the development, $\beta$-/$\alpha$-euhemeroby of the site dropped to 43.7% and meta-hemeroby increased from 56.3% to 17%. Therefore, we could accept the buildings of LG village development plan and suggested a compensative plan with which we could raise $\beta$-/$\alpha$-euhemeroby like restoring the river, greening parking-lots and rooftops, revegetating cut slope.
Functional thinking is a central topic in school mathematics and the purpose of teaching functional thinking is to develop student's functional thinking ability. Functional thinking which has to be taught in elementary school must be the thinking in terms of phenomenon which has attributes of 'connection'- assignment and dependence. The qualitative methods for evaluation of development of functional thinking can be based on students' activities which are related to functional thinking. With this purpose, teachers have to provide students with paradigm of the functional situation connected to the other subjects which have attributes of 'connection' and guide them by proper questions. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find teaching method for functional thinking by situation posing connected with other subject. We suggest the following ways for functional situation posing though the process of three steps : preparation, adaption and reflection of functional situation posing. At the first stage of preparation for functional situation, teacher should investigate student's environment, mathematical knowledge and level of functional thinking. With this purpose, teachers analyze various curriculum which can be used for teaching functional thinking, extract functional situation among them and investigate the utilization of functional situation as follows : ${\cdot}$ Using meta-plan, ${\cdot}$ Using mathematical journal, ${\cdot}$ Using problem posing ${\cdot}$ Designing teacher's questions which can activate students' functional thinking. For this, teachers should be experts on functional thinking. At the second stage of adaption, teacher may suggest the following steps : free exploration ${\longrightarrow}$ guided exploration ${\longrightarrow}$ expression of formalization ${\longrightarrow}$ application and feedback. Because we demand new teaching model which can apply the contents of other subjects to the mathematic class. At the third stage of reflection, teacher should prepare analysis framework of functional situation during and after students' products as follows : meta-plan, mathematical journal, problem solving. Also teacher should prepare the analysis framework analyzing student's respondence.

This study investigated the factors affecting the procedures of becoming a scientist. Interview was used as a research method for deep understanding of individual career choice procedures. Interviews for individual scientists were conducted for about 60 minutes in their offices and all the interviews were tape-recorded. A total of 34 scientists who received some representative science awards in Korea during 1990 - 2001 were sampled. They were all men. But the interview was conducted with 30 scientists. The investigation was based on the framework that was composed of the following four categories: personal ability, home environment, school environment, and sociocultural environment. And each category had several factors as follows: personal ability consisted of the meta-ability to figure out the aptitude and the self-ability and the achievement; home environment consisted of parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, and hobby; school environment consisted of teachers, friends, club activity; sociocultural environment consisted of event, mass media, social recognition and social prospect. From the analysis of the career choice procedure of the scientists it was appeared that the meta-ability for personal ability, the parental influence particularly by father for home environment, science teacher and professor for school environment, and social prospect for sociocultural environment were important. In conclusion, most of the scientists made an important decision for their future career when they were the 12th grade and 1st year in university, and they considered intrinsic factor such as self-interest and aptitude and extrinsic factor such as social prospect. However intrinsic factor related to science teacher and professor and extrinsic factor related to fathers' advice.
