  • 대기 환경중 아황산가스, 먼지와 같은 1차오염물질은 배출량의 감소에 따라 대기중의 농도도 감소하는 반면 오존과 같은 2차오염물질은 점차 증가하는 추세로 대도시 지역의 지표면 오존농도가 환경기준을 초과하는 빈도가 점차 증가하고 있다. (백성옥, 2000) 특히 서울시의 경우는 오존주의보를 발령하는 고농도 오존농도 0.12ppm을 초과한 횟수는 오존주의보를 시행한 이래로 96년 11회, 97년 19회, 98년도 18회, 99년도16회 2000년도엔 22회로 증가하고 있는 추세이다. (중략)

  • Proficiency in creating a knowledge base is required for high accuracy fuzzy control. To overcome this a fuzzy inference method is proposed that take these membership functions from the probability densities showing the distribution of the mesurement values. And a method using a rough fuzzy knowledge base automatically created from the basic measurement data and tuned using the gradient method is proposed. In actual tests, these were applied to automatic high accuracy adjustment devices for magnetic head and for high frequency circuits with good results.

  • A laser mesurement system, a modified Michelson interferometer,which can accurately measure high speed length and position of servomechanisms by detecting a phase shift in the measurement beam using an optical interference was developed. A frequency stabilized laser source and a 20 fold frequency interpolation and digitizing circuit were applied to the system. The refractive index of the ambient air was calibrated through the Edlen's formula. The system achieved a resolution of .lambda./40,16nm, a maximum allowable measurement speed of 600 mm/sec, and a length measurement range of 1500mm. Performance of the system was evaluated on the machining center in short and long length measurements

  • A description of the basic principles of moire interferometry leads to the design of a eight-mirror four-beam interferometer for obtaining fringe patterns representing contour-maps of in-Plane displacements. The technique is implemented by the optical system using an environmental chamber for submicro-displacement mesurement. In order to estimate the reliability and applicabili쇼 of the system developed, the measurement of coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) for a aluminium block is performed. Consequently, the system is applied to the measurement of thermal deformation of a WB-PBGA package assembly. Temperature dependent analyses of global and local deformations are presented to study the effect of the mismatch of CTE between materials composed of the package assemblies. Bending displacements of the packages and average strains of solder balls are documented. Thermal induced displacements calculated by FEM agree quantitatively with experimental results.

  • For this research, we developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation. The software controls the hardware of the mesurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we is studied for Aux. Block performance of railway vehicle. In order to this test is developed signal conversion system. Using this system. we obtained important result for battery voltage, Aux. Block temperature.

  • AVI (Automatic Vision Inspection) systems automatically detect defect features and measure their sizes via camera vision. It is important to predict the performance of an AVI to meet customer's specification in advance. Also the prediction can indicate the level of current performance of an AVI system. In this paper, we propose a statistical method for prediction of false alarm rate regarding inconsistency of defect size measurement process. For this purpose, only simple experiments are needed to measure the defect sizes for certain number of times. The statistical features from the experiment are utilized in the prediction process. Therefore, the proposed method is swift and easy to implement and use. The experiment shows a close prediction compared to manual inspection results.

In this paper, practical experiment is performed to verify temperature characteristics of induction motor for high speed rail. The experimental test carried out new temperature measurement method. Through this test, temperature characteristics of induction motor is verified.

  • Recently, as the road capacity reaches the limit and environmental problems becomes serious, there is gradually increased a need for railroad vehicles that are environment-friendly and have time regularity, reliability, and safety. Accordingly, in addition to conventional railroad vehicles, lots of vehicles are being newly developed. In this study, temperature sensors were adhered to transformer that is used in KHST(Korean High-Speed Train) to verify variation of temperature characteristics about transformer synthetically and efficiently. In the case that temperature of transformer exceeds reference temperature for running of KHST, overheating of transformer may cause a fatal accident of vehicle. Therefore, after on-line measuring system was constructed in vehicle, oil temperature and tank temperature were measured on real-time. Characteristics and main specifications of transformer in KHST were described in this paper. Also, measuring system for temperature measurement of transformer was explained in brief. Temperature data of transformer was acquired using measuring system, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) analyzed characteristic in contrast with comparing with temperature of transformer about month, running speed and running time.

It is important to predict the performance of an AVI to meet customer's specification in advance. In this paper, we propose a statistical method for prediction of false alarm rate regarding inconsistency of defect size measuremet process. We only need are a simple experimental trial for repeated defect size measurement test. The statistical features from the experiement are utilized in the prediction process. Therefore, the proposed method is swift and easy to implement and use. The experiment shows a close prediction compared to manual inspection results.
