AS EC is expanded and activated, many message standards, EDI, XML, UDF, etc are defined and is used at various business part. But the existed translator supports only one mapping translation, for example, EDI-to-UDF, UDF-to-EDI. So many user must be introduced a new translation when new business(message standard) is beginning, To solve this problem, we propose XConverter System as registering mapping information which is able to transform to user requested format using same translator even though it is transferred any formatted message in this paper. Also, We design and implement this system which is capable to integrate with existed legacy system, including DB transformation functionality. The .XConverter System supports changing the business message format to the common user used message format. And this system easily migrates with existed legacy system because DB transform module is component. Therefore, The proposed System is more various and flexible than the other translation system that provide just one mapping transformation.

지그비(ZigBee)는 무선 통신 표준 기술로서 이를 이용한 많은 서비스 응용들이 개발되고 있다. 이러한 서비스 응용들은 인터넷과의 연결을 위한 서비스 게이트웨이를 필요로 한다. 이러한 지그비 서비스 게이트웨이를 효율적으로 활용하기 위해서는, 지그비 서비스 게이트웨이는 프로파일에 따른 다양한 응용 메시지 변환, 새로운 노드의 추가/삭제에 따른 지그비 서비스의 추가/삭제에 대한 처리, 지그비 네트워크로의 불필요한 메시지 전달 차단과 같은 기능을 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기능들을 제공하는 새로운 형태의 지그비 서비스 게이트웨이, ZiGate를 제안한다. 제안하는 ZiGate는 지그비 네트워크와 연동하여 메시지 변환 모듈을 재설정하거나 불필요한 패킷을 차단하는 제공한다. 더불어, ZiGate는 프로파일 기반의 지그비 응용 메시지를 SOAP과 같은 텍스트 형과 이진 형을 갖는 인터넷 서비스 메시지로 상호 변환할 수 있는 기능을 동시에 제공한다. ZiGate 를 실제 구현하여 테스트베드에 설치 및 평가를 통하여, 본 논문에서는 제안하는 ZiGate가 효율적임을 보인다.

Electronic data interchange (EDI) is a new technology of information communication which can make offices paperless. This study develop an EDI system to communicate informations among companies using computer systems. The system consists of five modules-document I/O, translation, system management, communication, and additional modules. The database of EDI documentation standards has been constructed by the table-driven method. The communication module provides three communication modes-RS232C, MODEM, and message handling system (MHS). The system performance has been improved by the method of data compression and data encryption which prevent the communication delay and illegal users. This EDI system can be used as a front-end, back-end, or stand-alone mode.
