캐드 환경에서 플라스틱 사출 금형 설계 시스템의 개발 (Development of Plastic Injection Mold Design System on the CAD Environment)

  • In this work, we have been concerned with developing an intelligent mold design system for plastic injection molding on the AutoCAD. We have concentrated on building a viable environment, including a mold parts database and a menu-driven user interface. This provides a more interactive and interface for selection of optimal mold-base and mold parts in mold design system. This work presents a method which allows the designer to select the mold parts and mold-base directly within an AutoCAD environment. It can also automatically generate detailed 3D drawings of the mold parts and mold-base. The system shows its potential capability for future enhancement. Since the system is independent of the data, it could easily be extended to other mold-bases and mold parts. In addition, it can be linked to the molding analysis system by creating subtracted 3-D models.

  • Knapsack problems represent many business application such as cargo loading, project selection, and capital budgeting. In this research we developed a knapsack problem solver based on Martello-Toth algorithm using a relational database management system on the PC platform. The solver used the menu-driven user interface. The solver can be easily integrated with the database of decision support system because the solver can access the database to retrieve the data for the model and to store the result directly.

  • The medical image processing system is intended for a diverse set of users in the medical Imaging Parts. This system consists of a 640 Kbyte IBM-PC/AT with 30 Mbyte hard disk, special purpose image processor with video input devices and display monitor. Image may be recorded and processed in real time at sampling rate up to 10 MHz. This system provides a wide range of image enhancement processing facilities via a menu-driven software packages. These facilities include point by point processing, image averaging, convolution filter and subtraction.

  • This study deals with CARS (Computer Aided ROMUM System) which is a computer version of ROMUM (RObot Modularization of the Unit Motion). ROMUM was a method developed by the concept of modularization of the unit motion of robots. Because CARS is a computer assisted method of menu-driven type for human interface, this method can be easily applied for analyzing the work motion and measuring the execution time of robots. Therefore, it will be helpful for reducing the analysis effort and time of robot work.

  • Interactive Measuring part Program Generating Tools (IMPPGT) realized on the FANUC 15MA using touch trigger probes and interactive macro functions os the CNC were developed for an intelligent measuring and inspection systems on the machine tools. Menu driven measuring and inspection functions of the IMPPGT were studied and implemented on the CNC through the macro executer and ROM writer. In order to automate measurement and inspection procedures in machine shops measuring G Code system was also proposed. Using the developed measuring G Code system on the machine tool untended measurement and inspection operation was able to be realized in FMS lines.

  • In this paper, MIIS (Medical Image Information System) has been designed and implemented using INGRES RDBMS, which is based on a client/server architecture. The implemented system allows users to register and retrieve patient information, medical images and diagnostic reports. It also provides the function to display these information on workstation windows simultaneously by using the designed menu-driven graphic user interface. The medical image compression/decompression techniques are implemented and integrated into the medical image database system for the efficient data storage and the fast access through the network.

  • 본고는 TDX 전전자교환기 개발에 따른 시스팀 형상관리를 효율적이고 체계적으로 수행하기 위한 자동화 도구, $CMI^2S$(Interactive Information System for TDX Configuration Managements)의 개발에 관한 연구결과이다. $CMI^2S$는 menu-driven 방식을 기본으로 하는 네가지 도구 (CCT/RDT/SPRT/DSMT)들로 구성되어 있으며, 주요 개발환경중의 하나인 데이터베이스 시스팀은 VAX-l1/750 컴퓨터 시스팀의 Troll/USE Relational DBMS 이다. 그리고 $CMI^2S$의 주목적은 형상관리 활동인 형상인식, 형상통제, 형상상태 기록의 수행을 자동화하여 TDX 시스팀의 integrity를 향상시키는데 있다.

  • The IMAPRO sotfware package was mainly focused to provide an algorithm which is capable of displaying various color composite images on IBM PC, VGA(Video Graphic Array) card with no special hardware. It displays the false color images using a low-cost eight-bit place refresh buffer. This produces similar quality to the one obtained from image board with three eight-bit plane. Also, it provides user friendly menu driven method for the user who are not familier with technical knowladge of image processing. It may prove useful for universities, institute and private company where expensive hardware is not available.
