This work aims to explore personal coping and insight experience in mental disorder symptoms from the perspective of the parties in order to lay an empirical basis for the transition of the mental health service paradigm from a medical model to a human rights model. For this purpose, in-depth interviews with 8 persons with mental disorders were conducted and a model of practice was suggested through analysis using the grounded theory. As a result, 11 categories, 23 sub-categories and 132 concepts were identified. According to the analysis of this study, people with mental disorders have changed their perspective on symptoms through in-depth insight into their identities and symptoms as mental disorders, and discovered their own autonomous ways to cope with symptoms, managing their daily lives. Therefore, in developing a Korean alternative model for people with mental disorders, it is necessary to prepare conditions to find their own countermeasures through opportunities for insight.

Objectives : Based on the fact that cognitive functions decline known as comorbid symptoms of depression can precede depression, this study seeks to observe the effects of depressive symptoms and anxiety symptoms on cognitive function in healthy subjects. Methods : To recruit 50 general populations to evaluate cognitive and clinical symptoms and to find out the effects of clinical symptoms on cognitive functions, Pearson correlation and multivariate regression were conducted. Correlation analysis of subdomain cognitive function was conducted for reliability analysis. Results : Trail making test-B that evaluates the execution function correlates with depressive symptoms (r=0.300, p=0.03) and age (r=0.323, p=0.02). Depressive symptoms (β=0.304, p=0.03) and age (β=0.335, p=0.01) were significantly related to Trail making test -B (Adjusted R2=0.148). Subjective cognitive tests correlates with anxiety symptoms (r=0.434, p=0.002). In the correlation between cognitive functional items, Subjective cognitive tests was found to be correlated with other test except Spotter. This study examined the effect of job stress and mental health factors on the oral symptoms of caring service workers in Seoul. For the research method, a survey was conducted from July 24 to August 6, targeting 150 caring service workers. The survey items were job stress, mental health (physical symptoms, anxiety, and insomnia), and self-diagnosed oral symptoms. The results of the study were as follows. Job stress (p=0.001) had a significant effect on the oral symptoms. In addition, physical symptoms (p<0.001), anxiety symptoms (p<0.001), and insomnia symptoms (p<0.001) all had significant effects on the oral symptoms. Among the risk factors, physical symptoms had the greatest influence on oral symptoms. In addition, according to the correlation result of job stress, anxiety symptoms, insomnia symptoms, oral symptoms, as job stress increases, physical symptoms (p<0.001), anxiety symptoms (p<0.001), insomnia symptoms (p<0.001), oral symptoms (p<0.01) showed an increasing positive correlation and a statistically significant difference. Physical and psychological labor power is greatly exhausted by care service workers performing tasks that require physical and mental care for those who are being cared for. Therefore, there is a need for systematic expansion measures for the mental health of workers and the introduction of customized oral health education programs to improve oral health because improved health and oral health conditions can increase work performance.

The students having good physical condition showed better mental health than those with poor physical condition(t = -2.81, p < 0.01). The students exercising at least twice a week showed better mental health than those who do not exercise(t = -3.10, p < 0.01). Those who having musculoskeletal symptoms showed higher index of internet addiction score than those who do not(t = 4.21, p < 0.01). Those who have no musculoskeletal symptoms tended to have better mental health than those who have musculoskeletal symptoms(t = 2.28, p < 0.05). The variables correlated to mental health were internet addiction, subjective physical condition, and exercise at least twice a week. So the students must know the danger of internet addiction. Proper health education is necessary for the prevention of addiction symptoms.
Successful management of mental symptoms requires proper diagnostic tools and comprehensive treatment including psychotherapy, physical therapy and psychopharmacotherapy. For this purpose. valid and reliable diagnostic instruments need to be developed. and the data regarding various treatment methods in medical and psychiatric comorbid conditions should be available. Because mental symptoms originate from various aspects of biological, psychological and social factors. each aspect may have slightly different therapeutic goal. Alterations in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of medically ill and/or old patients may complicate the treatment outcomes. Best psychopharmacological treatment needs to be elaborated in various states. Mental symptoms of the medically ill patients may be treated more effectively with an eclectic approach.
