암묵적 기억의 발달: 지식기반과 메타기억의 영향 (Development of Implicit Memory: The Effect of Knowledge Base and Meta Memory)

  • 본 연구는 지식기반과 메타기억이 범주 예 생성 과제를 통해 측정되는 개념적 암묵적 기억에 영향을 미치는 지를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울과 경기도의 초등학교 2학년 60명, 초등학생 6학년 60명, 고등학생 60명, 총 180명이었다. 대상 아동들에게 범주예 생성 암묵적 기억검사, 지식기반검사, 메타기억검사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 공변량 분석을 실시하였고, Scheffe 사후검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 연령이 높을수록 암묵적 기억이 발달하였다. 암묵적 기억량은 초등학교 2학년과 고등학생, 초등학교 6학년과 고등학생 간에 유의하게 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 지식기반수준이 높을수록 암묵적 기억이 발달하였다. 연령과 지식기반의 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 아동의 메타기억이 높을수록 암묵적 기억이 발달하였다. 본 연구결과들로 연령, 지식기반, 그리고 메타기억이 암묵적 기억의 발달에 중요한 요인이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 아동이 연령에 따라 지식기반과 메타기억이 발달한다면 암묵적 기억이 발달할 것이라는 시사점을 제공한다.

조직구성원의 네트워크 위치가 지식공유에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Network Positions of Organizational Members on Knowledge Sharing)

  • Improving productivity of knowledge workers is an important issue in the 21st century referred as knowledge-based society. The core key word is knowledge sharing among constituents of an organization. The purpose of this study is to combine the social network position factors with attitude and behavior factors, and develop an integrated research model for the knowledge sharing among members of an organization. This study adopted the integrated theoretical framework based on social capital, self-efficacy, transactive memory, and knowledge sharing. Surveys were conducted to 42 organizational members from a department in a leading IT outsourcing company to empirically test the proposed research model. In order to validate the proposed research model, social network analysis tool, UCINET, a structural equation modeling tool, SmartPLS, were utilized. The empirical result showed that, first of all, organizational members' familiarity network position had significant influence on knowledge self-efficacy and transactive memory capability. Second, knowledge self-efficacy and transactive memory capability affected knowledge sharing intention. Third, knowledge sharing intention also had an impact on the job performance. However, organizational members' expertise network position had no significant influence on knowledge self-efficacy and transactive memory capability. This finding reveals the importance of the emotional approach rather than the rational approach in knowledge management. The theoretical and practical implications on the research findings were discussed along with limitations.

유아의 정서지식이 자전적 기억에 미치는 영향 : 부정적 정서성의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Young Children's Emotion Knowledge on Their Autobiographical Memory : With a Focus on the Mediation of Negative Emotionality)

  • This study investigated the relationships among emotion knowledge, negative emotionality, and autobiographical memory in a sample of 131 three- to five-year-old children attending day care center in seoul. The collected data were analyzed using simple regression and hierarchical multiple regression. The main results of this study were as follows. First, children's emotion knowledge exerted negative effects on their negative emotionality. Second, children's negative emotionality had a positive influence on their autobiographical memory. Finally, the effect of children's emotion knowledge on their autobiographical memory was partially mediated by their negative emotionality. These findings provide a preliminary evidence that children's emotion knowledge and negative emotionality may predict their autobiographical memory.

Hierarchical Associative Frame with Learning and Episode memory for the intelligent Knowledge Retrieval

  • In this paper, as one of these efforts for making the intelligent data mining system we propose the Associative frame of the memory according to the following three steps. First,the structured frame for performing the main brain function should be made. In this frame, the concepts of learning memory and episode memory are considered. Second,the learning mechanism for data acquisition and storing mechanism in the memory frame are provided. The obtained data are arranged and stored in the memory following the rules of the structured memory frame. Third, it is the last step of processing the inference and knowledge retrieval function using the stored knowledge in the associative memory frame. This system is applied to the area for estimating the purchasing degree from the type of customer's tastes, the pattern of commodities and the evaluation of a company.

지식성장의 영향요인에 관한 연구-분산기억중심으로 (A study on Influencing Factors of Knowledge Creation focus on Transactive Memory)

  • 본 연구는 분산기억(Transactive Memory )개념을 중심으로 지식성장의 네 가지 과정에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증연구로써, 지식성장의 동태적 과정의 맥락 속에서의 분산기억의 역할을 설명하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구모형을 검증하기 위하여 130명 팀 구성원을 대상으로 경로분석을 실시한 결과, 팀 분산기억의 측정항목들의 일부가 지식성장에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 분산기억과 지식성장은, 특히 팀 수준의 지식성장과 밀접한 관련성을 가지고 있다는 점을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 팀 수준에 머물러있고 팀을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였고, 인지심리학의 팀 분산기억 개념을 도입하여 조직 내부에 팀 단위로 개인지식을 어떻게 접근하고 사용하는지를 이론적으로 설명하고 분석하였다. 지식성장을 촉진하려면 전문지식보다 팀원들 간의 직무관련 지식을 신뢰하여 협력적으로 작업조정을 해야 한다. 또한 관리자들이 팀원들을 가장 적합한 작업위치에 배치함으로 팀원들의 개인지식을 가능한 활용할 수 있으며 팀 성과까지 향상시킬 수 있다는 시사점을 제시할 수 있다.

트랜잭티브 메모리 역량과 사회적 자본이 지식공유의도에 미치는 영향: 근속년수의 조절효과 (The Effect of Transactive Memory Capability and Social Capital on Knowledge Sharing Intention: Moderating Effect of Tenure)

  • Knowledge sharing occurs through voluntary interactions between human actors. In this paper, from the perspective of social interaction, the effect of transactive memory capability and social capital (bridging social capital and bonding social capital) on knowledge sharing intention was analyzed, and tenure was demonstrated as a moderating factor that can strengthen their relationship. Therefore, the results of this study are summarized as follows. First, it was verified that the transactive memory capability had a significant positive effect on the knowledge sharing intention. Second, it was found that the bridging social capital and bonding social capital held by individuals had a significant positive effect on knowledge sharing intention. Social capital is understood to form an individual's voluntary motivation for knowledge sharing. Third, it was verified that the moderating effect of tenure suggested in this study was not significant. Based on the results of this study, implications and future research directions were presented.

  • Knowledge management(KM) is emerging as a robust management mechanism with which an organization can remain highly intelligent and competitive in a turbulent market. Organization memory(or knowledge) is at the heart of KM success. How to create organizational memory has been debated among researchers. In literature, a wide variety of methods for creating organizational memory have been proposed only to prove that its applicability is limited to decision-making problems which require shallow or non-causal knowledge type. However, organizational memory with a sense of causal knowledge is highly required in solving complicated decision-making problems in which complex dynamics exist between various factors and influence each other with cause and effect relationship among them. In this respect, we propose a new approach to creating a causal-typed organizational memory (CATOM), which has a form of causal knowledge and is represented in a matrix form, by using an inference diagram. An algorithm for CATOM creation is suggested and applied to an illustrative example. Results show that our proposed KM approach can effectively equip an organization with semi-automated CATOM creation and inference process which is deemed useful in a highly competitive business environment.

지식근로자의 공유인지와 팀 효과성의 관계 (The Relation with Shared Cognition for Knowledge Worker and Team Effectiveness)

  • Attention has been focused recently on the concept of shared cognition which encompasses the notion that effective team members hold knowledge that is overlapping and complementary with teammates. This shared cognition is expected to improve team effectiveness. In contrast to the continued efforts in developing theoretical approach of shared cognition, empirical studies are meager. Thus, we conducted an empirical study to investigate the role of shared cognition on team effectiveness. This study classifies shared cognition into two types, team mental model and transactive memory system, by shared meaning. A total of 121 new product development teams in the IT industry were surveyed for the data collection. The results of analysis can be summarized as follows: first, team mental model has a positive influence on team performance, team innovative behavior and team learning effect. And the relation with team mental model and team performance is moderated by the similarity of knowledge structure among the expert. Second, transactive memory system has a positive influence on team performance, team innovative behavior and team learning effect.

Features of an Error Correction Memory to Enhance Technical Texts Authoring in LELIE

  • In this paper, we investigate the notion of error correction memory applied to technical texts. The main purpose is to introduce flexibility and context sensitivity in the detection and the correction of errors related to Constrained Natural Language (CNL) principles. This is realized by enhancing error detection paired with relatively generic correction patterns and contextual correction recommendations. Patterns are induced from previous corrections made by technical writers for a given type of text. The impact of such an error correction memory is also investigated from the point of view of the technical writer's cognitive activity. The notion of error correction memory is developed within the framework of the LELIE project an experiment is carried out on the case of fuzzy lexical items and negation, which are both major problems in technical writing. Language processing and knowledge representation aspects are developed together with evaluation directions.

연구문헌의 지식구조를 반영하는 의미기반의 지식조직체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Knowledge Organizing System of Research Papers Based on Semantic Relation of the Knowledge Structure)

  • 본 연구는 연구문헌의 지식구조를 반영하는 의미기반 지식조직체계의 실험적 모형을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국연구재단의 기초학문자료센터에 대한 사례분석을 하였다. 기초학문자료센터 연구성과물 DB와 학술용어 DR의 개념클래스 및 인스턴스를 대상으로 연구문헌의 지식구조를 파악하였으며, 기초학문자료센터 시스템의 학술적 이해형성 기능을 분석하였다. 또한 연구문헌의 지식구조와 색인어의 관계를 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 지식구조와 색인어의 관계구조, 26개의 연구문헌 지식구조 공리 및 11개의 의미관계 추론규칙으로 구성되는 온톨로지 모형, 즉 연구문헌의 지식구조와 그 의미관계에 의한 실험적 지식조직체계 모형을 제시하였다.
