This study investigates the relationship between social capital and enterprise performance with knowledge sharing as the mediator. By employing the data of 677 respondents collected from delivering questionnaires to small and medium-size firms in Vietnam in 2020, this study suggests a two-step approach that combines exploration factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and path analysis (SEM). The empirical findings significantly support our proposed model by demonstrating that knowledge sharing mediates the connection between all three elements of social capital and enterprise performance. At the same time, the results emphasize the importance of knowledge sharing as a major benefit of social capital and a substantial driving element of both operational and financial performance. The results show that all three social capital qualities (structural, relational, and cognitive) significantly impact both tacit and explicit knowledge sharing, while knowledge is one of the main routes connecting social capital to enterprise performance. Hence, our research model may be used in future studies to evaluate social capital, knowledge sharing, and firm performance as a new theoretical model. Our results offer a plausible explanation for how social capital improves knowledge sharing and enterprise performance.

One of the most important issues in a small and medium sized enterprise (SME) is to identify how to apply IT to the organization so that it maximizes the effectiveness of IT. In general, a large company mainly plans to adopt, implement, and stimulate a new IT in a viewpoint of advanced IT system's capability for maximizing the effectiveness of IT. However, SME requires a totally different approach since SME's situation is different from a large enterprise's one. In this study, we investigate several factors that have an influence on the successful IT adoption and implementation of a SME through the case of Hwacheon. We also find out that CEO's support, CEO-initiating strategic meeting, IT development ability, and organizational compatibility in the introduction stage of IT are relatively more important than those in the implementation stage of IT, whereas IT flexibility, system quality, training and support, overcoming organizational resistance and performance improvement in the implementation stage of IT play critical roles in the IS success. Our results show that the advance of IT may not guarantee the success of IT implementation.

최근 들어, 중소기업에서의 기업자원관리시스템 구현에 관한 관심과 연구가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 중소기업에서의 기업자원관리(ERP) 소프트웨어 품질, 벤더의 지원, 사용자 정보 만족도 및 ERP 구현 성과와의 관련성을 규명하였다. 이와 같은 실증연구를 통하여 ERP 소프트웨어 품질과 벤더의 지원이 중소기업에서의 성공적인 ERP 구현과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 내부자원이 상대적으로 부족한 중소기업의 ERP 시스템 구현에 있어서 패키지 소프트웨어 품질과 벤더의 지원에 대한 의존성과 중요성에 관한 시사점을 제공하였다.

본 연구는 중소벤처기업무역이익에 관한 실증적 분석을 위하여 수행되었다. 그간 무역후생에 대한 연구들이 우리나라 전체 기업규모를 대상으로 수행되었거나, 대표적 기업(평균)을 중심으로 이루어졌으나, 본 연구에서는 중소벤처기업과 대기업을 분리하여 파레토 및 대수 정규기업규모분포에 대한 결정모수를 추정하고, 이 자료를 바탕으로 무역이익을 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 기업규모의 이질성이 클수록 무역후생이 크게 나타났다. 이 결과는 중소벤처기업 및 대기업의 경우에도 동일하게 나타났다. 무역이익은 파레토규모분포를 가정할 경우 대수정규분포를 가정한 경우보다 압도적으로 크게 나타났다. 둘째, 대기업의 경우가 중소벤처기업의 경우보다 무역후생이 크게 나타났다. 이 분석결과는 대기업규모분포가 중소벤처기업규모분포보다 이질성이 더 크기 때문에 나타난 결과이다. 셋째, 기업규모분포가 동질적이라고 가정할 경우에 무역후생의 차이가 존재하지 않았다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 정책적 시사점으로 무역후생증대의 관점에서 기업규모이질성은 매우 중요한 역할을 차지한다. 중장기적으로 중소벤처기업의 다양성을 증대시키는 중소벤처기업정책이 필요한 이유이다.

21 century, Korea enterprise which run business in global market, has rapidly change. So, achievement of international competitive power is very important. IT(Information Telecommunication) Technology is play a leading role in this field. In fact, Korea enormous invest in informational technology field and hold the first place in informational quotient(information super-highway, server computer, mobile networking and firm's web site etc). But, materialization of information management effect consider how to cope with the situation. Korea SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises) is fundamental in Korea economy. So Korea SMEs must active the international competitive power by information management and advance to a higher position. In conclusion, SMEs of information management is require that SMEs' CEO and CIO are must self-help to in this field. And governments improvement of connected with the related system in these field.

We conducted an explorative study about the types of APEC government's policies for SME(Small and Medium Enterprise) informatization. Informatization means the process whereby information and communication technologies shape cultural and civic discourse. By using Qualitative study methods such as interviews and case studies, we identified the influential factors for the effectiveness of government policies on SME's informatization. Based on the implementation levels of these factors, we also developed the typology of government policies for SME informatization. Our conclusion ends up with the suggestion of a contingency approach for SME informatization of underdeveloped and developing countries.

Information-security management systems (ISMSs) are becoming very important, even for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, implementing an ISMS is not an easy task. Many obstacles must be overcome, e.g., complexity, document tracking, competency management, and even changing cultures. The objective of our study is to provide ISMS application tools, based on ISO 27001:2013 ISM frameworks. The application was developed on the Odoo Open Enterprise Resource Planning platform. To validate its feasibility for future improvement, the application was implemented by an MSME company. For this implementation, information-security-related users gave their feedback through a questionnaire. The distributed feedback questionnaire consists of nine assessment parameters, covering topics from the application's technical aspects to users' experiences. Based on the questionnaire feedback, all users of the application were satisfied with its performance.

Case-based Reasoning (CBR) is widely used in business and industry prediction. It is suitable to solve complex and unstructured business problems. Recently, the prediction accuracy of CBR has been enhanced by not only various machine learning algorithms such as genetic algorithms, relative weighting of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) input variable but also data mining technique such as feature selection, feature weighting, feature transformation, and instance selection As a result, CBR is even more widely used today in business area. In this study, we investigated the usefulness of the CBR method in forecasting success in implementing ERP systems. We used a CBR method based on the feature weighting technique to compare the performance of three different models : MDA (Multiple Discriminant Analysis), GECBR (GEneral CBR), FWCBR (CBR with Feature Weighting supported by Analytic Hierarchy Process). The study suggests that the FWCBR approach is a promising method for forecasting of successful ERP implementation in Small and Medium sized Enterprises.

We could not find researches for relationship between safety performance and business performance in comparison with other research areas. Then in this paper we suggest the hypotheses which can systematically explain the relationship between safety performance and business performance and analyze the effects of safety performance on business performance through regression analysis. In order to develop the regression model between safety performance and business performance, the previous studies both for environmental management and for quality management had been reviewed. We obtained the result that the number of the injured persons in occupational accident and the number of lost work day because of the accident which are selected as measurement for safety performance had an effect on business performance through empirical analysis both for large 43 enterprises and for small and medium 30 enterprises. Also we had found that the control variables selectively 3had an effect on business performance. Finally, we concluded that the safety performance had an effect on business performance both for large enterprise and for small and medium enterprise.

This study proposes a new approach to implement smart factory based on robot monitoring system for a small and medium sized enterprise. The simulator includes the forward kinematics and inverse kinematics analyzes of articulated robots. We also modeled the dynamics of the robot and made it possible to simulate it in the program. We studied the interface between the user and the monitoring programming system using the GUI environment of Windows OS, and it is configured to select the appropriate trajectory planning and control method. The reliability of simulator is illustrated by simulation test.
