Medical demand has been increased explosively since health insurance was introduced in 1977. Person has taken a growing interest in increase of medical service supply while that period. We must understand the legal aspects of medical quality management. There have been many legislative efforts for securing the right of patient. Patient's legal right is secured through the declaration of patient's right and all hospital person deal with patients according to the standard and criterion of the declaration of patient's right. The patient's right is set up on a basis of the right to live and the expectation right of patient. It is important to prevent medical accidents because the right of patient's health is violated by medical accident. We must manage well the medical quality to prevent the medical accident. The effort to escalate the medical quality is the best method to decrease the medical dispute. Nowadays a person take a growing interest medical quality. Our government make an effort to secure the medical quality through the legal system to be contained health organization evaluation system.
Community mental health management system emphasizing on the rehabilitation and the return to the community has been established and carried out for many years. The study has been demanded to prove that the decreasing rate of the recurrence of the mentally ill resulted to lower their medical costs, to enrich the quality of life, and to reduce the psychological burden of their family. This study tried to prove that the mental health services to the mentally ill which were registered in community mental health center of A city have an influence on the medical cost, the quality of their lives. the family burden. The subject group of this study were 39 home-based mentally ill patients and their 37 family members, totally 76 people registered in mental health center of A city and participated in its program. This research had been measured twice, the first before the intervention and the second after at least a year. The measuring tools in the research were the medical cost measurment tools developed by the researcher, the quality of life index by Yoo ja, Noh(1988) and the family burden by Montgonery(1985). The methods were modified and supplemented in this study. This research made use of SPSS Win 10.0. The results of this study are the same as followings. 1) There were the significant difference in the medical cost before and after the mental health service delivery. 2) The quality of lives of the mentally ill, after the mental health services delivered were significantly higher than before. 3) The family burden were significantly reduced after the delivery of community mental health services. Community mental health services brought out efficient results to the social return and rehabilitation. And these results means that the mentally ill changed highly the quality of life and their burden of family and medical cost were reduced. So the public organization and the private society should help positively the mentally ill and their family through mental health policy and social service agency to live healthy lives and to be valuable member of society.
Korean Oriental Medicine has experienced a dramatic status change since the 19th century. Korean Oriental Medicine had been the only authentic medicine, but lost its status and fell as an illegal medicine through the Japanese rule, and recently revived successfully. The dramatic change of Korean Oriental Medicine needs an explanation. This paper explored the cause of the dramatic change and found the following things. First, the medical policy of the State directly influenced to the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. During the Japanese rule, the medical policy for Korean Oriental Medicine was very oppressive. After Liberation, a kind of noninterference policy was carried out. The change of the medical policy gave direct influence to the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. Second, the needs for medical service have been expanded. At the same time, the concern for tradition has been increased. And the supply of Korean Oriental Medicine has also increased by the establishments of Korean Oriental Medicine departments. Third, the internal growth of Korean Oriental Medicine brought to elevating the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. After 1945, Korean Oriental Medicine endeavored to strengthen the organization and to activate the academic society. Based on the above factors, Korean Oriental Medicine has achieved a remarkable status change during last several decades. We can not skip Korean Oriental Medical doctors' desperate efforts to enhance the status of Korean Oriental Medicine. Korean Oriental Medicine achieved the modernization. It's difficult to find similar case. It can be a model of modernization of tradition.

This study analyzed and investigated of positivism to set up a hypothesis with a model of study based on a theoretical consideration to analyze a structural empowerment, a psychological empowerment, an immersion of duty, and a devotion of organization. which made the dental hygienists an object of study of investigation and analyzation in order to understand relation to elements that have an effect on a business result, effect and degree in a dental hygienist's organization. The results of positive analysis in the study are as follows. A psychological empowerment is influenced by a level of satisfaction for their duty, educational level, and types of main duty. A structural empowerment is influenced by a level of satisfaction for their duty, total years of work, a level of salary, type of work place. Organizational devotion is influenced by the structural empowerment, total year of work, type of workplace, and a level of satisfaction for their duty. Devotion for their duty is influenced by the psychological empowerment, total year of work, type of main duty, main duty that they want in the future, and specialization for amin duty.
To assess the university health service organization(UHSO) and its school health programs a questionnaire survey for all of 186 four-year colleges in Korea was conducted from December 1. 1998 to March 31. 1999. The response rate was 91.9 percent(171 universities). The UHSO was established in 116 universities(67.8%L The most common name of UHSO. used in 61 universities(52.6%). was school health center. Only 45(38.8%) of the 116 universities surveyed had a committee to support and run the UHSO. The percentage of universities that had committee was higher in national universities and those with a large number of students. The average number of staff working in the UHSO was 3.5; 4.6 in national universities; and 7.1 in universities with more than 15.000 students. There were 43 universities(37.1%) which had a part-time physician and 104 universities (89. 7%) had full-time nurses. Only 4 universities(3.4%) had a independent facility for the UHSO while most of UHSO were housed in other building. The UHSO had an independent budget in 86 universities(74.1%). The average budget per university was 46.890.000 won: private universities had more budget with 59.170.000 won on average than national universities with 36.990.000 won. The average budget allocated per student was 4.362 won. A regular physical examination was performed in 72 universities(62.1%). The percentage of university that performed regular physical examination was higher in private universities than in national universities. Health counseling was performed in 113 universities(97.4%) and vaccinations in 87 universities(75.0%). Medical care services were performed in 87 universities(75.0%). and the private universities and those with over 10.000 students provided the student with more services. Environmental sanitation was executed in 73 universities(62.9%) and health education was conducted in 68 universities(58.6%)' The school health management activities were promoted in 104 universities(89.7%) out of 116 universities with UHSO. Only 12 universities(10.3%) published reports on the achievements and performance of the UHSO. Only 29 universities(25.0%) had a continuing education for employees of the UHSO.
This research was conducted to improve the image of female emergency workers in a fire service organization by studying the perception trends of the increasing number of female paramedics. This human resource can be utilized more effectively by using the study results as baseline data. We conducted a survey from May 1 to June 30, 2013. The survey was analyzed using Q methodology and the program QUANL. For the Q sample, 31 emergency rescue paramedic students who had experienced ambulance field education were selected. As a result, four types of female paramedics were found; "superwoman," "hero" (who pushes against limits of stamina), "delicate guardian angel," and "skillful desk worker." The explanation powers were as follows: type I: 42.2%; type II: 4.8%; type III: 4%; and type IV: 3.6%. The sum of the figures explained 54.7% of the total variables. Generally, the students recognized female paramedics as professionals, but physical strength, baby care, and caring were considered as burdens. This requires changes in the organization's perception of female paramedics and an institutional strategy.

In order to find out status of health care for community residents with special reference to organization and man power in a rural health subcenter, a study was carried out, through analyzing the data, operated by health subcenter during 1973~1990 in a rural area, Su Dong-Myun, Nam Yang Ju-Gun, Kyung Gi-Do, Korea. The following results were obtained : l) The Number of Population in Su Dong-Myun is decreasing and household is increasing chronologically. 2) In 1989, the characteristics of population composition rate in Su Dong-Myun were shown : the groups of Age, 65 and over was high rate(9.8%) and 0~4 was low rate(5.3%) decreasing chronologically. 3) Since 1972, services of Su Dong-Myun health subcenter have been carried in the 3 functions(medical treatment, health care management and clerical work) with supports of Ewha Woman's University through the participation of community residents organization. 4) The Number of Su Dong-Myun health subcenter personnel in 1990 was 5 persons(public health doctor l, public health dentist l, health worker l, dental technician l and assistant nurse l) and of these, health worker who must have the huge charge of health care management, has been worked at Myun-office as a public official, in condition, decreased from 3 in 1980 to 2 in 1981 and from 2 to 1 in 1985. 5) Health service Activities of Su Dong Myun health subcenter obtained good results in it's achievement during 1975-1985, but since 1986, it has been in condition of lower stepping. 6) Since 1977, annual medical utilization rate showed decreasing tendency such as 900 per l,000 population in 1977, 846 in 1979, 723 in 1981, 343 in 1973 and 34l in 1987. 7) A proposal : (l) Organization of health subcenter must be unified and systematized by government, so that health subcenter can carry out primary health care for community residents through responsibilities and authorities. (2) Teaching programs in educational process must be reorganized, according to periodical request. considering relative importance to primary health care in health care needs of community residents.

This study is about the organizational justice of fire service agency for organizational commitment and motivation of firefighters. The research data were collected from 355 firefighters nationwide using the On-nara Administrative Work Management System 2.0. The statistical processing method of the research data was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 28.0. The study results showed that the overall level of firefighters' perception of organizational justice was slightly lower than normal, with an average score of 2.85. Regarding gender, male firefighters were more likely to believe that the organization was injustice than female firefighters. In addition, organizational justice was found to be lower among fire sergeants by rank and first aiders by responsibility.
1) Purpose : The purpose of this research is to identify the trend of job stress of hospital nurses based on last 10 years of domestic research and to suggest directions for systematic future research. 2) Methodology : 101 studies between 2006 and 2016 were selected using key words such as registered nurse and job stress from Academic Information Service(Riss4u), the National Assembly Library and Korean studies Information Service System(KISS). 3) Findings : The researches on job stress of hospital nurses were increasing. The result showed that job stress increased for shift nurses. Especially, nurses of small-medium sized hospital showed remarkable effects to organization such as turnover intention. In addition, although the importance of approach to management is emphasized, there is little research on these aspects. 4) Practical Implications : It is necessary to develop systematic research on job stress directly effecting turnover intention of hospital nurses from hospital management aspect. The development of job stress measuring tools reflecting the characteristics of the medical institution, and the human resources management plan to resolve the imbalance in manpower for nurses should be required.
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the Citizen-Corps-Active-In-Disaster (CAIND) according to a new viewpoint based on changes in basic theoretical concepts and establish a development plan. Methods: A documentary survey was administered, and the study followed the technical approach method. Detailed information on CAIND was taken from scholarly monographs, specialty publications, and previous studies, including master and doctorate dissertations. Results: CAIND may be defined as legal auxiliary organizations composed of local residents who volunteer to prepare for "all kinds of disasters as well as prevention activities" and instill the ideology of "leading service organizations of safety as a form of community involvement," "resident-friendly organizational activities based on autonomous operation," and "performing activities which supplement their demands according to the realization of social welfare and regional conditions." Conclusion: The newly established basic theoretical concept included the concepts of "professionalism and possibilities," "social expandability," "voluntary participation," and "the realization and complementation of social welfare"
