  • Recently, the medical image has been digitized by the development of computer science and digitization of the medical devices. There are needs for database service of the medical image and long term storage because of the construction of PACS(picture archiving and communication system) following DICOM(digital imaging communications in medicine) standards, telemedicine, and et al. However, it also caused some kinds of problems, such as illegal reproduction of medical image, proprietary rights and data authentication. In this paper, we propose the new digital watermarking technique for medical image based on public key encryption algorithm for integrity verification. It prevents illegal forgery that can be caused after transmitting medical image data remotely. The watermark is the value of bit-plane in wavelet transform of the original image for certification method of integrity verification. We proposed the embedding regions are randomly chosen considering ROI, and a digital signature is made using hash function of MD5 which input is a secret key. The experimental results show that the watermark embedded by the proposed algorithm can survive successfully in image processing operations and that the watermark's invisibility is good.

  • The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is a valuable source of medical data intelligence in e-health systems. The watermarking techniques have been used to authenticate the owner and protect the EMR from illegal copying. The existing distributive strategies, successfully operated to secure the EMR, are found to be inadequate. Blockchain technology, mainly, is employed by a sharing database that allows the digital crypto-currency. It rapidly leads to the magnified expectations acme. In this excitement, the use of consortium adopting the technology based on Blockchain, in the EMR structure, is found improving. This type of consortium adds an immutable share with a translucent record of the entire business and it is accomplished with responsibility, along with faith and transparency. The combination of watermarking and Blockchain technology provides a singular chance to promote a secured, trustworthy electronic documents administration to share with the e-records system. The authors, in this article, present their views on consortium Blockchain technology which is incorporated in the EMR system. The ledger, used for the distribution of the block structure, has team healthcare models based on dissimilar multiple image watermarking techniques.

  • The field of medical images has been digitalized as the development of computer and the digitalization of the medical instruments. As a result it causes a lot of problems such as an illegal copy related to medical images and property right of the medical images. Therefore, digital watermarking is used for discrimination whether the data are modified or not. It is also used to protect both the property right of medical images and the private life of many patients. The proposed theories, the Non-blind and the Blind method, have two problems. One is needed an original image and the other is using a gaussian watermarking. This paper proposes the new Blind Watermarking using binary images in order to easily recognize the results of watermark. This algorism is described that an watermark of a binary image is wavelet-transformed, and then a transformed watermark is inserted in medium-band of frequency domains of original image by the Circular Input method. This method don't have any loss when image didn't have any attack. As a result Watermark can be perfectly extracted by using this algorithm. And Maximam PSNR value is improved 3.35dB. This algorithm will be improved by using gray level image and color image.

There are needs of the medical imaging database service and long term storage today because of the installation of PACS system following DICOM standards, telemedicine and etc. and ,also, the illegal distortion of the medical information, data authentication and copyright are being happened. In this paper, we propose watermarking technique as a method which can protect private informations and medical imaging from geometric distortion. Because many watermarks for images are sensitive to geometric distortion, we present a algorithm that is insensitive to RST distortion in medical image. we observed the robustness against several of the signal processing and attacks in medical imaging field by embedding watermark after making a region which is insensitive to RST distortion by using FFT and LPM transformation.

  • The rapid development of healthcare information management for 3D medical digital library, 3D PACS and 3D medical diagnosis has addressed security issues with medical IT technology. This paper presents multiple 3D medical image data for protection, authentication, indexing and diagnosis information hiding applied to healthcare information management. The proposed scheme based on POCS watermarking embeds the robust watermark for doctor's digital signature and information retrieval indexing key to the distribution of vertex curvedness and embeds the fragile watermark for diagnosis information and authentication reference message to the distance difference of vertex. The multiple embedding process designs three convex sets for robustness, fragileness and invisibility and projects 3D medical image data onto three convex sets alternatively and iteratively. Experimental results confirmed that the proposed scheme has the robustness and fragileness to various 3D geometric and mesh modifiers at once.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel robust blind crypto-watermarking method for medical images security based on hiding of DICOM patient information (patient name, age...) in the medical imaging. The DICOM patient information is encrypted using the AES standard algorithm before its insertion in the medical image. The cover image is divided in blocks of 8x8, in each we insert 1-bit of the encrypted watermark in the hybrid transform domain by applying respectively the 2D-LWT (Lifting wavelet transforms), the 2D-DCT (discrete cosine transforms), and the SVD (singular value decomposition). The scheme is tested by applying various attacks such as noise, filtering and compression. Experimental results show that no visible difference between the watermarked images and the original images and the test against attack shows the good robustness of the proposed algorithm.

  • During the medical data transmissions, the protection of the patient information is vital. Hence this work proposes a spatial domain watermarking algorithm that enhances the data payload (capacity) while maintaining the authentication and data hiding. The code is distributed at every pixel of the digital image and not only in the regions of non-interest pixels. But the image details are still preserved. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated using several performance measures such as the mean square error (MSE), the mean absolute error (MAE), and the peak signal to noise Ratio (PSNR), the universal image quality index (UIQI) and the structural similarity index (SSIM).

  • Reversible watermarking is an open problem in information hiding field, with embedding the encoded bit '1' or '0' into some sensitive images, such as the law enforcement, medical records and military images. The technique can retrieve the original image without distortion, after the embedded message has been extracted. Histogram-based scheme is a remarkable breakthrough in reversible watermarking schemes, in terms of high embedding capacity and low distortion. This scheme is lack of capacity control due to the requirement for embedding large-scale data, because the largest hidden capacity is decided by the amount of pixels with the peak point. In this paper, we propose a reversible watermarking scheme to enlarge the number of pixels with the peak point as large as possible. This algorithm is based on an adaptive edge-guided interpolation, furthermore, hides messages by interpolation-error, i.e. the difference between the original and interpolated image value. Simulation results compared with other state-of-the-art reversible watermarking schemes in this paper demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, a new fragi1e watermarking algorithm for medical images is proposed. It makes possible to resolve the security and forgery problem of the medical images. In the proposed algorithm. the singularity which represents the inherent characteristic of the medical image is extracted and used as watermark. To extract the singularity point. we adopted Mallat wavelet transform because it can describe the edge of image exactly. Mallat wavelet transform produces horizontal and vertical subbands of the same resolution with the original image. The magnitude and phase components of the edge are obtained using these subbands. Based on the magnitude and phase components. LMM which will be used as watermark is determined. As LMM is the inherent singularity of image, if any forgery is applied to medical image, LMM of original and forged image are different each other Detecting the changes of LMM for the two images makes it possible whether any image is undergone forgery or not From the experimental results, we conformed that the proposed algorithm detects the forged area of the image very well.
