IT서비스 기업의 윤리 수준과 혁신 경영 성과 (The Business Ethics and Innovation Management Performance of IT Service Firm's in Korea)

  • This paper discussed about business ethics and innovation management performance of IT service firms in Korea. To prove empirically the research hypothesis, the statistical analysis was based on the response from the 92 IT Service firms in Korean. As analysis results, it was found that the business ethics of organizations were the effect factors of the innovation management performance. And the knowledge competency and creativity are confirmed as a mediator between the business ethics and innovation management performance. So this paper suggests that business ethics in organizations are the important factor for enhancement of IT service firm's innovation performance. Specially the mediation effects of knowledge competency and creativity variables were proved empirically for the relation between the business ethics and innovation management performance. So it is desirable that knowledge-based service firms, for example IT service firms, have to strive to upgrade their level of business ethics and to link with their creativity and knowledge competency.

  • This paper discussed about creativity and knowledge management variables as for effect factors on the management performance of IT service firms. Specially the mediation effects of knowledge management variables between the creativity and management performance were examined. To prove empirically the related hypothesis, the statistical analysis were based on the response from the 160 Korean IT Service firms. As an analysis results, it was found that the creativity of organizations was not the direct effector on the management performance. But the virtue of knowledge which are accumulated from knowledge management activity and shared in organizations was the direct effector. Also, the knowledge management activity is mediator on the in the relationship between the creativity and management performance. So this paper suggests that knowledge management activity and knowledge's virtue in the related the creativity in organizations are the important mediate factors for enhancement of IT service firm's performance.

  • A mediator-less microbial fuel cell (MFC) was used to determine the performance effects of a membrane­electrode assembly (MEA). The MFC with an MEA generated a higher current with an increased coulomb yield when compared to an MFC with a separate cathode. Less oxygen was diffused through an MEA than through a Nafion membrane. The MFC performance was improved with a buffer, although a high-strength buffer reduced the performance.

서번트 리더십이 조직동일시와 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Servant Leadership on Organizational Identification and Innovative Behavior)

  • The paper examines how servant leadership and organizational identification contributed to explaining innovative behavior. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were collected from 298 individuals in employees working in small and medium-sized firms at Jinju, Changwon, Gimhae, Busan City to test theoretical model and its hypotheses. All data collected from the survey were analyzed using with SPSS 18.0. This study reports findings as follows: first, the relationship between the servant leadership and the organizational identification is positively related. Second, there was also a positive correlation between the organizational identification and the innovative behavior. Third, the relationship between the servant leadership and the innovative behavior is positively related. Finally, the organizational identification played as a partial mediator on the relationship between servant leadership and innovative behavior. Based on these findings, the implications and the limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

청소년의 생활스트레스, 우울 및 자살생각의 관계 (Structural Relationship among the Life Stress, Depression, Suicidal Ideation of Adolescents)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship among the life stress, depression, suicidal ideation of adolescent. Methods: Participants for this study included 285 students from five middle schools located in Seoul and Gyeongsangbukdo, Korea. The SPSS 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 program were used for analysis of data. Results: The characteristics of this study were to analyze causal relationship with latent variables by considering measurement error and to grasp direct effect, indirect effect and total effect. Life stress and depression were found to be factors influencing suicidal ideation. Depression was a direct factor and life stress was a indirect factor. The effects of depression as a mediator between life stress and suicidal ideation were significant statistically. Conclusion: The findings of this study may provide useful assistance in development of effective nursing interventions for prevention and management of middle school students' suicidal ideation.

New role of E3 ubiquitin ligase in the regulation of necroptosis

  • Necroptosis is a well-known form of caspase-independent cell death. Necroptosis can be triggered by various extrinsic stimuli, including death ligands in the presence of receptorinteracting protein kinase 3 (RIPK3), a key mediator of necroptosis induction. Our recent studies have revealed that C-terminus HSC-70 interacting protein (CHIP), an E3 ligase, can function as an inhibitor of necroptosis. CHIP−/− mouse embryonic fibroblast showed higher sensitivity to necrotic stimuli than wild-type mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. Deleterious effects of CHIP knockout MEFs were retrieved by RIPK3 depletion. We found that CHIP negatively regulated RIPK3 and RIPK1 by ubiquitylation- and lysosome- dependent degradation. In addition, CHIP−/− mice showed postnatal lethality with intestinal defects that could be rescued by crossing with RIPK3−/− mice. These results suggest that CHIP is a negative regulator of RIPK1 and RIPK3, thus inhibiting necroptosis.

Puerariae flos inhibits inflammatory responses in interferon-γ and lipopolysaccharide-stimulated mouse peritoneal macrophages

  • In macrophages, nitric oxide (NO) is released as an inflammatory mediator and has been proposed to be an important modulator of many pathophysiological conditions including inflammation. In this study, we have examined the inhibition effects of NO production by 85% methanol extract of the flower of Pueraria thunbergiana (PF) in mouse macrophages. Extract of PF (1, 10, 100 ${\mu}g/ml$) inhibited NO production, inducible NO synthase and cyclooxygenase-2 expression in interferon-g and lipopolysaccharide-stimulated mouse peritoneal macrophages and it had no cytotoxicity. These data suggest that 85% methanol extract of PF might be useful in controlling macrophages mediated inflammatory disease.

위 불쾌감, 학습된 음식 거부와 식욕이 음식 신공포증과 음식 거절의 관계에 미치는 매개효과 평가 (Mediating Effects of Nausea, Learned Food Aversion, and Appetite on the Relationship between Food Neophobia and Food Rejection)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating role of nausea, learned food aversion, and appetite on the relationship between food neophobia and food rejection. A total of 250(122 healthy males and 128 healthy females) questionnaires were completed. Path analytic model was used to measure the mediating effect. Results of the study demonstrated that the path analytic result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. Furthermore, the mediating analysis indicated that the influence of food neophobia was mediated by mediator. The effect of food neophobia on appetite was perfectly mediated by nausea and learned food aversion. In the contests of general food rejection, the effect of food neophobia on food rejection was perfectly mediated by appetite. It should be noted that the original model was modified and should, preferably, be validated in future research.

Offshore Outsourcing Success : An Integrated Framework

  • As the digital economy goes global, firms are trying to find suppliers that can address their managerial goals and strategies. The alternatives are not confined to domestic firms. Firms have been trying to connect to foreign partners worldwide. Although offshore outsourcing grants firms various benefits, they present big cultural challenges. However, there is little research on the impact of cultural or country factors on outsourcing. The goal of this paper is to synthesize the outsourcing success literature and develop propositions for outsourcing success in the context of offshore outsourcing. This paper proposes that cultural effects should be included in evaluating the success of offshore outsourcing. Knowledge sharing and the scope of outsourcing are adopted in the base outsourcing success model from previous literature. In the extended model partnership quality is included as a mediator and organizational capability and outsourcing relationship type are also included as moderator. Finally, the integrated framework of offshore outsourcing success includes cultural factors as moderators of the relationships between outsourcing success antecedents and the success of offshore outsourcing. Reasoning for propositions, managerial implications, and future research directions are discussed.
