환기에 의한 실내 부유오염입자 제거특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Removal Characteristics of Indoor Suspended Particulates by Ventilation.)

  • In this paper, the ventilation performance of suspended particulates in indoor side was investigated by step-down method. Experiments were performed in function of mechanical ventilation types and locations of supply and extract air. The type 2 ventilation system shows the highest removal characteristics rather than other 2 types. It means that the displacement ventilation has also good decay rates of concentration compared to mixing ventilation.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the 3 types of indoor ventilation methods such as natural, mechanical, and hybrid ventilation in high-rise building which is affected by stack effect and outdoor air pressure. For the evaluation of the ventilation capacity, CFD simulation was performed in a typical high-rise residential building. The results of the simulations are as follows: 1) Natural ventilation method is not enough to the regulation. 2) In case of mechanical ventilation, congested area is occurred but meets the regulation. 3) In case of hybrid ventilation with stack effect, all the areas of indoor meet the regulation and congested area is reduced. 4) In case of high-rise building, the differences of ventilation rate among houses in the building are not large because the mechanical ventilation is main factor.

소형차 전용 도로터널의 환기기 제어방안에 대한 연구 (A study on the ventilation control method of road tunnel for small vehicles)

  • 최근 들어 대도시의 교통난 해소 및 녹지공간 확보를 위해서 도로의 지하화가 추진되고 있으며, 대형차 혼입률이 낮기 때문에 소형차 전용 도로터널로 계획되거나 건설되고 있다. 또한, 도시에 건설되고 있는 터널은 간선도로의 기능을 수행하기 위해서 장대화되는 추세이다. 따라서 환기시스템의 용량이 증대하고 다양한 환기방식이 요구되고 있으며, 환기기 운전비용 등 터널준공 후, 유지관리의 중요성이 부각되게 되었다. 따라서 환기기 소비전력의 절감을 위한 운전단계의 최적화나 환기기 운전제어로직에 대한 연구의 필요성이 증대하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 소형차 전용도로 터널에 ① 제트팬방식과 조합환기방식, ② 제트팬 + 공기정화방식, ③ 제트팬 + 수직갱방식, ④ 제트팬 + 급기반횡류환기방식을 적용하여 에너지 절약적인 환기기 운전을 실현하기 위해서 운전단계 및 제어로직 최적화 방안의 필요성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 연구의 결과로 조합환기방식의 터널의 경우, 다양한 운전조합이 있을 수 있으며, 발생되는 환기량이 동일할 지라도 운전조합에 따라 소요동력이 크게 차이가 나며, 일반적으로 수행하고 있는 제트팬 우선 운전방식보다는 축류팬을 우선 운전하는 것이 동력절감에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In this paper, we performed the experimental and numerical study on the thermal comfort(TC) and indoor air quality(IAQ) in the lecture room with a different airflow rate of the ventilation system and heating system for heating season. Through the experimental results, we found out that there was considerably difference of the PMV but there was little difference of $CO_2$ concentration with a different heating system. From a numerical results, the best operating condition was that discharge airflow rate of SAC is 29 CMM and supply airflow rate of the ventilation system is 1,200 CMH from a viewpoint of TC and IAQ.

공동주택에서 환기장치류 가동특성에 따른 실내공기질 변화특성에 관한 연구 (The Effects to Indoor Air Quality as Ventilation System Operation in Apartment House Using CFD Simulation)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the effective ventilation strategies and control methods that can minimize energy cost maintaining acceptable IAQ level in apartment house. The effects of the air-cleaning and heat-recovery ventilation system on IAQ under various operating conditions are investigated based on the experimental and CFD analyzed results. The results can be summarized as follows. (1) When a ventilator is not operated, the concentration of several pollutants may highly show in the house even though environment-friendly building materials are applied. Therefore, a mechanical ventilation system is required to obtain proper ventilation. (2) The pollutant concentration is noticeably deceased under air-cleaning/ventilation mode of air-clinic system, however, pollutant of kitchen is stagnant, because fresh air is not carried into the kitchen. (3) When air-clinic system is only equipped at master bedroom and living room, the system does not effectively deliver fresh air throughout the whole house, and then high pollutant concentration is obtained in each room. In contrast the average pollutant concentration meets the guideline when air-clinic system is installed at each room. (4) The air-cleaning/ventilation mode significantly affects on room ventilation in comparison with ventilation mode only.

  • On account of Indoor Air Quality(IAQ) deterioration by reason of high isulation and air tightness for energy saving, absence of energy efficiency ventilation system development that can be domestic existing window system, the cost increase and the energy addition loss by mechanical ventilation for IAQ improvement the ventilation obligation making design standard was prepared by a social and technical background and the necessity. In this study, open module type natural ventilation window system for energy saving included a fixed and continuous quantity ventilation was developed. The purpose that indoor thermal comfort environment evaluate of indoor resident.

실내오염 저감을 위한 공동주택 환기시스템의 개선방안에 대한 연구 (The Study on the Renovation Method of Apartment House Ventilation System for Reducing Indoor Air Contamination)

  • Recently, Indoor air quality (IAQ) is one of the most important problem in our daily life of modern societies. Mechanical ventilation system is being recommended as an effective method to improve IAQ in apartment houses. And then, in Korea, building industry should install ventilation system in apartment house by the building construction code. In this study, to improve IAQ caused by microbial and chemical contaminant such as bacteria and TVOC, three types of mechanical ventilation system of apartment house including HRV were simulated by multizone modeling. Simulation results suggest an appropriate and economical renovation method of apartment house ventilation system for reducing indoor air contamination.

자연환기 시스템을 이용한 고층 공동주택의 환기성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Ventilation Performance in High-rise Residential Building by Natural Ventilation System)

  • This study focuses on developing natural ventilation system which is able to satisfy the good indoor air quality and air speed. The natural ventilation system developed in this study is for double window façade and it has two operation modes for summer and winter. Operational sections of the devices have been analyzed by CFD simulation to calculate discharge coefficients of openings and estimated indoor air speed. For the analysis of the appropriate installation area ratio for each room and the optimum installation area, TRNFLOW simulation has been used. As the results, we could see that the natural ventilation system can provide the similar pollutant removal performance to 0.7 ACH of mechanical ventilation with appropriate installation area and installation area ratio.

입자 제거용 환기 필터의 설계 변수 선정 기법을 위한 이론 및 실험적 연구 (Theoretical and experimental study for optimization method of particle removal fibrous filter used in ventilation system)

  • Pressure drop and particle removal efficiency of two commercial fibrous medium filters were measured with 20~1,000 nm sized aerosolized KCl particles. Pressure drop and particle removal efficiency were also theoretically predicted and the results qualitatively agreed with the experimental data. For this given particle removal efficiency, a filter design method for obtaining minimum pressure drop (and therefore minimum fan power) was suggested in this study by selecting solidity and fiber diameter as parameters. Therefore, by carrying out theoretical and experimental approaches together, this paper introduced a way of finding conditions for low pressure drop and high performance of a fibrous filter, especially if the filter would be used in mechanical ventilation system.
