갱년기 여성의 발달현상에 대한 태도와 폐경증상이 삶의 의미에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Attitude to Developmental Phenomena and Menopausal Symptoms to the Meaning of Life among Climacteric Women)

  • 본 연구는 갱년기 여성들의 발달현상에 대한 태도와 폐경증상이 삶의 의미에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써 갱년기 여성의 삶의 질 향상에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 D광역시와 C시, 그리고 기타 지역에 거주하는 40-60세의 갱년기 여성 313명을 대상으로 하였다. 설문조사 대상은 비확률 표집방법 중 편의표집 방법을 이용하여 표집 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 갱년기 여성들은 발달현상에 대해 그다지 긍정적인 태도를 보이지 않았으며, 폐경증상은 가끔 심하였고, 삶의 의미 수준은 그다지 높지 않았다. 둘째, 갱년기 여성들은 발달현상에 대한 태도가 긍정적일수록 삶의 의미 수준이 높았고, 폐경증상이 심할수록 삶의 의미 수준이 낮았다. 셋째, 갱년기 여성의 삶의 의미에는 발달 현상에 대한 태도와 폐경증상이 영향을 미쳤으며, 특히 폐경에 대한 태도와 정신적 증상이 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과를 볼 때, 갱년기 여성들의 삶의 의미를 높여주기 위해서는 폐경증상과 관련한 신체적 건강과 발달현상에 대한 태도와 관련된 심리적 건강 향상을 위한 사회복지적 개입이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 또한 정책적 차원에서 갱년기 여성들이 건강한 삶을 유지할 수 있도록 지역 내 복지시설의 개방하고, 갱년기 준비를 위한 교육이 실시될 필요가 있으며, 다양한 차원에서 사회복지 상담 서비스의 실천이 요구된다.

실직 여성가장을 위한 집단 상담 프로그램 개발 -생의 의미에 미치는 효과검증- (The Development and Effect of a Group Counseling Program for Unemployed Matriarchs)

  • This study was designed to develop a program for unemployed matriarchs and show if the program affected their view on the meaning in life. The subjects were women registered in an occupational training program for unemployed matriarchs, which is being practiced in the 'Working Women Center' located in Busan. The researchers selected 44 persons from the group who agreed to our program. This study was done from the 10th of March, 1999 to the 9th of October. The researchers used the measurement tools, The Purpose in Life, Self-esteem, Hope and Meaning in Life which was composed of 63 items developed by them. Their Cronbach's alpha were .88, .79, .76 and .95. The researchers analyzed the data with frequency, percentage, Mean, S.D, Wilcoxon signed ranks test which were deduced from SPSS 10.0 WIN program. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The program is composed of 'becoming intimate', 'open-minded', 'exploration on self', 'relax of repressed emotion', 'self- acceptance', 'establishing the life-goal', 'enrichment of human relationship' and closing. It took 20 hours for this program to come into practice. 2) According to the analysis of the general traits of all subjects, average age was 39.36. High school graduates were 86%, college graduates were 14% and divorce were 57%, bereavement were 18%, and the rest were 25%. 3) The result of 1st progam showed self-esteem during the program was high. 4) The result of 2nd progam showed self-esteem during the program was high. 5) The result of 3rd progam showed the sum scores of meaning in life, creative meaning, and attitudinal meaning during the program was high. 6) The result of 4th progam showed the sum scores of meaning in life and creative meaning during the program was high. On the viewpoint of above results, we convinced that 'a program for unemployed matriarch is effective to establish a stronger meaning in life. Therefore, it is demanded that support for unemployed matriarchs should not only be economic help such as technical training and help of living expenses, but also psychological, professional and systematic support.

남명을 통해본 일상(日常)의 교육적 의미 (Educational Meaning of the Daily Life which leads Nammyung)

  • The education will boil from daily life and as doing desirably, Nammyung emphasized. This fact all people importantly from education, to think. But recognizes this problem the center of life and study of oneself and the case which indicates writes. Nammyung led and recognized the importance of daily life from education. The life of the human being becomes more distant from daily life and when being absorbed in being external makes a valuable territory lose from life. When with the same interest of education becomes more distant from daily life of life, the education makes the meaning lose. When meaning the education is embodied from if human life, must have an educational interest in daily life. And works from the daily life which is repeated, meeting, association, dialogue and relationship, introspection etc. must become the interest territory of education, the education must devise is value from daily life the possibility of experiencing in order to be. Because the work which is ordinary, meeting from ordinary, with human relation and association dialogs, reflective etc. to compose a life. When the education excepts a daily life consequently, will not be able to give the value which is important in life. When saying conclusively, the education must escape from the fact that considers seriously a knowledge acquisition and a compensation. And the education must do to make a value the people experience rather from daily life. The resultant education will be able to accomplish the essential function of the education which loses, daily life will be valuable and there is a possibility which to make feel will do. With being like that, education could be reconciled with the people.

백혈병 경험 청소년의 생의 의미에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Predictors of Meaning in Life in Adolescents with Leukemia)

  • 목적 본 연구의 목적은 백혈병 경험 청소년들의 영적 안녕과 생의 의미 정도를 알아보고 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위함이다. 방법 백혈병으로 진단받고 C대학병원에서 관해유도요법을 마친 후 외래에서 추후관리를 받고 있는 11-21세 청소년 102명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 영적 안녕은 Paloutzian과 Ellison (1983)의 영적 안녕 측정 도구를, 생의 의미는 Kang 등(2007)의 청소년 생의 의미 측정도구를 사용하였고, 관련 요인을 파악하기 위해 자아존중감과 사회적 지지를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS를 이용하여 영적 안녕과 생의 의미 영향요인은 stepwise multiple regression analysis로 분석하였다. 결과 백혈병 경험 청소년들의 영적 안녕은 중간 수준이었고 생의 의미는 높은 수준을 나타냈으며 자아존중감, 사회적 지지, 영적 안녕은 생의 의미와 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 회귀분석 결과 영적 안녕에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아존중감과 가족의 지지였으며, 생의 의미에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아존중감, 실존적 안녕, 가족의 지지, 친구의 지지였다. 결론 백혈병 경험 청소년들이 질병과정을 성공적으로 이겨내고 생의 의미를 찾도록 돕기 위해서는 자아존중감과 실존적 안녕을 높이고 가족 및 친구 지지를 촉진시켜줄 수 있는 간호중재 프로그램의 개발과 실행이 필요하다고 본다.

중·노년기 주관적 연령이 주관적 안녕감과 우울에 미치는 영향: 삶의 의미의 매개효과 (The Influence of Subjective Age on Subjective Well-Being and Depression in Middle-Aged and the Elderly: The Mediating Effect of Meaning in Life)

  • 본 연구는 중·노년기 성인들의 주관적 연령이 주관적 안녕감과 우울에 미치는 영향에서 삶의 의미의 매개 효과를 검증하였다. 만 40세 이상 성인 394명을 대상으로 자기보고식 설문을 통해 주관적 연령, 삶의 의미, 주관적 안녕감, 우울을 측정하였다. 첫째, 인구사회학적인 변인에 따른 주관적 연령의 차이 분석에서 학력이 높고, 지각된 건강상태가 좋은 중·노년들이 그렇지 않은 중·노년들에 비해 주관적으로 자신을 더 젊다고 지각하였다. 둘째, 젊은 주관적 연령은 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감에 정적 영향을, 우울에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 삶의 의미는 주관적 연령과 주관적 안녕감 그리고 우울간의 관계를 유의미하게 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 중·노년 성인이 주관적으로 젊게 지각할수록 삶의 의미 수준이 높아지고, 높은 삶의 의미를 통해 주관적 안녕감은 높아지고 우울감이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 노화과정에서 생활연령보다 젊게 지각하는 경향성이 정신건강의 보호요인으로 작용하며, 이 과정에서 삶의 의미가 갖는 매개 역할이 중요하다는 것을 시사한다.

노인의 의미에 대한 주관성 연구 (A Subjectivity Study on the Meaning of Aging for Elders)

  • This study is designed to investigate what elders think about the meaning of aging. We have used Q-methods to identify meaning of aging from elders, and developed self-referenced surveys to analyze characteristics In this study, we used a non-structured method to select Q sampling. From 183 Q populations, we selected 36 Q sampling. A total of 32 persons sixty-years or older were randomly selected for P samples, When the Q-sorting was complete, we interviewed the participants at both end of the extremes(agree or disagree), and documented their responses. We used PC QUANL to process the data and used principal component analysis for Q factor analysis. There were five subjective types for the meaning of aging by elders. Of the 32 P-samples of elders, 11 were identified as Type 1, 7 as Type 2, 2 as Type 3, 8 as Type 4, and 4 as Type 5. Type 1 : 'Matured elders' Elders wished the well being of their children, thought older persons should maintain good health, worried about becoming senile, and dependent God believing in life after death. Type 2 : 'Assertive-Rights' Elders categorized as Assertive-Rights insisted on their rights to life as a person. Type 2 elders characterized themselves as people who should keep themselves healthy, become weak and lack sexual desires, act selfish like a child, need to be protected, and be financially independent. Type 3 : 'Passive-Dependents' Elders characterize themselves as those who pray for their children's well being, worry about the children even after their death. and becoming senile. Type 4 : 'Hopeless' The 'Hopeless' type of elders characterized aging as a time to pray for their children, insignificant beings, thoughts were selfish and child-like, poor, worried about going senile, regret their life overall, and preferred to die than to live as an old person. Type 5 : 'Attached-Present' The 'Attached-Present' type of elders thought elderly characterized themselves as acting selfish and child-like, wiser, anxious, regret their life, stand aloof of greed and worldly things, being a model for the society, and deserving to be treated with filial respect. Thus far, Korean elders seemed to have a positive and negative meaning of aging due to the current changes in the society, value system, and family structures. The above five subjective meanings of aging confirm that we need to approach and nurse the elderly differently. Years of aging are a part of and a natural process of life with various physical, psychological, and sociological changes. Nurses need to assist elderly to find the positive meaning of their life by providing appropriate physical, psychological, and social support at an earlier stage in nursing. Based on this study, we could derive the following two implication from the perspectives of science of nursing to care for elders. 1) Based on the studies investigating the type of meaning of aging, we could develop tools to assist in nursing intervention programs for elderly. 2) Based on research on the meaning of aging for different developmental stages of life, we could develop a model for roles for different family members in nursing and caring for the elders.

생애구술을 통해 본 중국 할빈 지역 조선족의 주거의 의미 : 주거유형 경험과 경로접근을 중심으로 (Meaning of Housing through Oral Life History of Korean Chineses in Harbin, China : Focused on experiences of housing structure type and pathway approach)

  • This research was designed to explore the meaning of housing among Korean Chinese in Harbin, China. In particular, the meaning of housing was examined by using the pathway approach. Utilizing qualitative research methods, this study administered the in-depth interview on the oral history of an individual life, and the 5 elderly persons in their 60s and 70s participated in the individualized interviews that were conducted from May 28 to 31 in 2010. The main findings of meaning of housing were as follows; 1. Similarly to the meaning of housing in 1970s and 1980s in Korea, house was viewed as both a shelter for family members and relatives and a place for their comfort. 2. Prior to multi-story residences, Harbin had only 3 different forms of single-story houses available; Chinese style with Kang and soil room(地室), Korean style with 'Ondol', and Russian style with open floor and Pechka, The promotion at work enabled participants to move to multi-story residences, their moving time varied from 1970 to 1991, and the residential moving determined their current housing status. 3. Multi-story residences were available around 1970s, floor-heating system was introduced from 1990s, and high-rise apartments were built from 1998. Korean Chinese(朝鮮族) weren't satisfied with the spatial composition of individual units embedded into the Chinese culture, especially, entrance, kitchen, bathroom and veranda. 4. Based on assimilation through socialism, adaptation to socialist society and capitalist acculturation, the lifestyles of the interviewees were categorized into five types - capitalist-proactive(Ms. KS), socialist-pragmatic(Ms. J), socialist-inducive(Ms. KY), family centered-conservative(Ms. L), and socialist-adaptive(Ms. P). This study implies that housing-related services for Korean Chinese are necessarily provided so as to embrace their life style and cultural identity in housing design, and further studies need to be explored.

재가 정신질환자의 내재화된 낙인, 삶의 의미와 정신건강회복과의 관계 (Association of Mental Health Recovery to Internalized Stigma and Meaning in Life of Community-Dwelling People with Mental Disorder)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the associations of mental health recovery to internalized stigma and meaning in life of community-dwelling people with mental disorder. Methods: Participants were 150 people with mental disorder who were enrolled at one of the community mental health institutions in D, S, and U cities, South Korea. Data analyses included a descriptive analysis, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS 25.0 software. Results: There were significant mean differences in mental health recovery according to education, religion, residential status, diagnosis, and day program use status of people with mental disorder living in the community. The significant predictors of mental health recovery included presence of meaning, stigma resistance, diagnosis (Major depressive disorder), and search for meaning. The regression model explained 58.7% of mental health recovery. Conclusion: Improving meaning in life and stigma resistance will increase the chances of mental health recovery among community- dwelling people with mental disorder.

  • In the modern society, the definition of life style has a special meaning. Because of the publicity of social Life, the compound numbers of behavior context and the diversify of Authority these days, the choosing life style is important for the self identity and the life activities. To erect the thesis of metaphoric process and meaning effect by stages, it will be studied and analyzed. Furthermore, studies about contrast, ambiguity, illusion, the element for meaning effect by stages, will be done. The Ubiquitous age Is a organic period for human, space and objects to interact to each other. This relationship can not be alternated by technology. Instead the technology can be a premise and because of the human being's new faculty of sensation, this age request emotional and interactive space design. In this modern life, the study of emotional and sensuous experience and metaphoric process can not be overlooked and should be researched more thoroughly to complete the theory of the new space design.

기독교의 전인치유사역 (Holistic Healing Work of Christianity)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify calls, roles and attitudes of the Christian medical staff in a modern medical system for holistic healing through belief in God's healing methods and God's view about medical treatment. The meaning of healing in the Bible is derived from Rapha in the Old Testament, it's meaning is 'heal wound', 'restore to original condition', 'repair', 'console' and 'be heal'. In the New Testament, the meaning of healing is 'to serve' and 'be in one's service' derived from Therapuein and preserve', 'rescue', 'save a life from death' derived from Sozo. The term of soteriology originated from Sozo. Therefore the meaning of the healing in the Bible is restoring original completeness to the same as Cod's characteristics. The meaning of disease is physical, psychological, social and spiritual imbalance or disharmonious. Disease is usually depravity from moral life to immoral life and abnormal life process with accompaning specific symptoms. Medical staff were called to God's work. recognized God's will for them, and absolutely leaned on God's power to intervene and work above spatial-temporal transcendently. They use spiritual power with medical treatment skills, help sick people to possibly have dynamic and individual relation with God and help to maintain their well-being and complete healing. Attitudes of medical staff were compassion and love, virtue of modesty, strong and daring, patience with belief, healing with God's word, using spiritual insight, play. using medical knowledge and techniques, continuing spiritual training, laying on of hands and repentance.
