  • PV model is presented based on the shockley diode equation. The simple model has a photo-current source, an single diode junction and a series resistance and includes temperature dependences. An accurate PV module electrical model is presented, matching with boost converter MPPT strategy and demonstrated in Matlab for a typical general purpose solar cell. Given solar insolation and temperature, the model returns current vector and MPP.

  • This paper presents an implementation of vector control for SMPMSM using model based controller design in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The model based controller design enables fast development of control system for motor by designing controllers and performing simulation on the GUI (Graphic User Interface) platform, converting program code directly into real-time programs, and then performing tests for the responses from controllers. The controller is designed as PI controller for speed and decoupling PI controller for current. And PWM used space vector modulation method using offset voltage and system stability is also secured by close magnitude overmodulation method, maintaining dynamics of load when it overmodulation. The validity of vector control implemented is verified through simulations and experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 풍력 발전 시스템의 시뮬레이션을 위한 MATLAB/Simulink 기반의 소프트웨어를 개발 하였다. 풍력 발전 시스템을 6가지의 주요 요소 (바람, 기계 요소, 전기 기기, 제어, 전력 변환기, 기타 요소)로 분류 하여 라이브러리를 개발하였고 각각의 모델들은 해당하는 대수방정식 혹은 미분방정식으로 표현하여 구현하였다. 최근 대형화 되고 있는 풍력 터빈의 추이를 고려하여 대형의 풍력 터빈에서 사용되는 개별 피치 제어 모델을 선형화 하여 구현하였다. 또한, 상태 변수가 많은 전기기기 모델들은 미리 컴파일 된 형태의 모델을 추가함으로써 빠른 속도로 시뮬레이션이 가능하다.

  • This paper presents the system dynamics methodology for modeling and control the production/inventory system. Under system dynamics point of view, we can apply some production/inventory policies as if we use the control laws for dynamics systems, then the behavior of system is analyzed and evaluated to improve the performance of production/inventory system. We also utilize the hybrid modeling method for the dynamic of production system with the combination of Matlab/Simulink and Matlab/Sateflow. Finally, the numerical simulation results are carried out in Matlab/Simulink environment and compare with the results from other works. It is shown that our approach can obtain some good performances (such as operational cost, stability of inventory, customer service level).

  • Complex sensorless control scheme is difficult to utilize in field of home appliance system because of cost problem. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce simplified sensorless control scheme that is composed of least calculation to estimate the rotor position. This paper presents the principle of the rotor position estimation with comparison of the estimated flux linkage and reference flux linkage. In order to verify the feasibility of control scheme, MATLAB is used for simulation.

  • Power line communication: PLC which easy to install at anywhere near outlet for electric machine. PLC uses transmission line for voltage of which is 60 Hz. One of the important thing is the processes of adding signal to power line and extracting the signal from power line, another is to choose the strong modulation method which sends signals to long distance without loosing in PLC channel. but PLC channel have very high and variable noise and attenuation and then it is very hard to transmit optimally between the transmitter and the receiver. AWGN, impulse noise and attenuation are created. To overcome the noise and attenuation. Multi-carrier Modulation methods like as OFDM and DMT which divide the channel into many sub-channel are powerful communication methods for PLC. In this paper, PLC channels are simulated for getting BER by Matlab simulink

  • An advanced simulation model for brushless dc (BLDC) motor drives using Matlab is presented. In the developed model, the dynamic characteristics of speed and torque as well as voltages and currents of pwm inverter components can be effectively monitored and analyzed. Therefore, it can be expected that the developed simulation model can be an easy-to-design tool for the development of BLDC motor drives including control algorithms and topological variations with reduced computation time and memory size.

  • This paper presents a new method to control swarm robots so that they can keep the formation while following a curved path. The main idea is to utilize the information on the instant center of gyration. For a given path, location of the instant center of the formation center is calculated, and individual robots follow the circular path around the calculated instant center. Performance of curvature-radius based method is compared with leader-follower referenced method via MATLAB simulation.

  • This paper analyzes the steady-state operating characteristics of doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) and fixed-speed induction generator(FSIG) in wind turbine system. It also presents a modeling and simulation of a grid-connected wind turbine generation system for dynamics analysis on MATLAB/Simulink, and compares the responses between DFIG and FSIG wind turbine systems with respect to wind speed variation, 3-phase fault and 1-phase ground fault of the network. Simulation results show the variations of generator's active/reactive output, rotor speed, terminal voltage, fault current, etc. Case studies demonstrate that DFIG illustrates better performance compared to FSIG.

  • This study is to choose the most proper model for AGV throughout simulation of behavior of suspension to reduce trial and error because there is no AGV treating heavy weight at harbor loading and unloading at home. Therefore, we estimate the vibration modes of the various suspensions applied to AGV, which is over 75 ton included the weight of two containers using the Matlab in the case of G and 5G, one of the simulation programs.
