Due to the nature of fashion design that responds quickly and sensitively to changes, accurate forecasting for upcoming fashion trends is an important factor in the performance of fashion product planning. This study analyzed the major phenomena of fashion trends by introducing text mining and a big data analysis method. The research questions were as follows. What is the key term of the 2010SS~2019FW fashion trend? What are the terms that are highly relevant to the key trend term by year? Which terms relevant to the key trend term has shown high frequency in news articles during the same period? Data were collected through the 2010SS~2019FW Pre-Trend data from the leading trend information company in Korea and 45,038 articles searched by "fashion+material" from the News Big Data System. Frequency, correlation coefficient, coefficient of variation and mapping were performed using R-3.5.1. Results showed that the fashion trend information were reflected in the consumer market. The term with the highest frequency in 2010SS~2019FW fashion trend information was material. In trend information, the terms most relevant to material were comfort, compact, look, casual, blend, functional, cotton, processing, metal and functional by year. In the news article, functional, comfort, sports, leather, casual, eco-friendly, classic, padding, culture, and high-quality showed the high frequency. Functional was the only fashion material term derived every year for 10 years. This study helps expand the scope and methods of fashion design research as well as improves the information analysis and forecasting capabilities of the fashion industry.

The new textile materials may be defined as textile materials different from already existing ones in the physical and chemical structure, manufacturing process, or end-use property. The present time what is called the post-industrial society is characterized by rapid change and new technology. Also, textile materials have been changed rapidly and diversely in the post-industrial society than in any other periods. The study aimed to analyze the trend of new tektite materials development in Korea and to forecast the development trend in the future. To investigate the trend of new textile materials, various written materials and informations were collected from the manufacturers, textile related periodicals, and research journals, and they were analyzed. The period of analysis was from January 1992 to May 1995. The results of this research are as followings : (1) Mixed textile materiasl such as bicomponent fiber, blended yam and blended fabric were increased. (2) High technology has an important effect upon new textile material development. (3) functional textile materials were increased (4) The high value-added products were increased. (5) The naturalized textile materials were increased.

This paper aims to propose fashion designs based on the application of art flower technique to translucent clothing material. For study method, firstly I looked into art flower applications occurred in modern trend since 2000 as well as theoretical research on art flower and transparency expressed as artificial beauty. Second, I attempt to express transparency in a variety of unique ways by using the art flower technique in producing clothes. Third, I utilized transparent flower with translucent clothing material and tried to suggest fashion design attempting mixture of new materials. As a result, firstly transparent image and material are well fitted in with modern trend and especially it was very suitable for expressing feminine beauty. Second, transparency was the element to suggest creative formative world in fashion design in regard to flower's beauty, various shapes and colors and to provide infinite materials as design motive. Third, the combination of knit clothing and plastic art flower displayed a new form of material combination. Especially as translucent material is fitted with trend such as function, lightness and variableness in modern times of the $21^{st}$ century, it presents beautiful combination with transparent flower. Fourth, Silk flower technique is variously used in art flower techniques. Various possibility ranges are presented such as flower was recreated with artificial image by silk flower technique to be newly expressed and various materials like aesthete film can be also expressed with silk flower technique.

본 연구는 제품 개발의 소재 적용에 있어 트렌드 리서치를 기반으로 하는 감성 소재의 요소를 도출하는 프로세스를 제안하였다. 케이스 모델인 한국형 스포츠 휠체어 개발에 적용하고자 하였으며, CMF(Color, Material, Finish) 기반의 리서치 중 소재 부분에 초점을 맞추어 연구하였다. 메가트렌드, 경쟁사 제품 및 파트별 분석, 심리 색채 분석 등 리서치 방법론을 통해 소재 적용의 최적화 및 검증, DB화를 연구하였으며 FGI 검증을 통한 최종 적용안을 도출하였다.

The Platycodon grandiflorum (balloon flower) has been used as food material and traditional medicine in Asia. The roots have been used in traditional medicine to treat coughs, upper respiratory infections, and sore throats. Using 1,603 valid patents from 6 countries, we analyzed the patent trend based on year, countries, applicants, and technology. The technologies are categorized into 6 groups which include material, additives, manufacture, cultivation, breeding and seed. The technology competitiveness of countries were analyzed with quantitative factors such as cites per patent, patent impact index, patent family size and technology strength. In comparison with other countries in the patent index, South Korea shows an increasing trend in patent numbers and total leverage ability, although the individual technology is lower than Japan and USA. Our study provides information on technical trend to support the performance of new projects on balloon flower.

Most of the operating pressurized water reactors (PWRs)has chosen Inconel 600 as steam generator tubing. The long-term operation of steam generators showed that the use of this material induced localized corrosion damages. The current trend is using Inconel 690 as a tube material for the replacement steam generators. Based on the current trend, we have chosen Inconel 690 for the advanced Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400) steam generator tube material. In this paper, we examined the technical consideration in this modification: the effect of chemical composition, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and wear characteristics

The purpose of this study was to identify the searching method and application of intoner design trend of interior designer. The questionnaire survey were used. The subjects of questionnaire survey were 50 interior designers in 6 interior design firms. Frequency, percentage, and cross-tab were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) Interior designers thought that consumers visiting at apartment model house were concerned about interior design trend and aware of interior design reflected trend. So interior designer gave expression to interior design trend. And they needed information about interior design trend and consumer's interior design preference. 2) Interior designers found interior design trend or consumer's preference from some exhibition or fair, journal, and internet materials. 3) Interior design trend was mainly expressed in living room design. And Interior designers utilized finishing material and color in expression of interior design trend.

Recently, it has been developed for Eco-environment, Super light, Multi-functional nano materials. As needed mobile parts in Smart phone or TV, computer, information communication for high pass signal, multi-function, Magnetic thin film materials have been developed. As last, magnetic powder, sintered and sputtering parts were thick and low purity than electroplating layer, low pass signal and noise were resulted, vibrated TV screen. Because chemical complex temperature was high and ununiform surface layer, it has been very difficult for data pass in High Frequency (GHz) area. Large capacity data pass is used to GHz. Above GHz, signal pass velocity is dependent on Skin Effect of surface layer. If surface layer is thick or ununiform, attachment is poor, low pass signal and cross talk, noise are produced and leaked. It has been reported technical trend of Electrochemically plating and Surface treatment of Metal, Polymer, Ceramic etc. by dispersion/complex for Multi functional nano-magnetic material in this paper.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the general distribution trend of drapery according to the material of flare skirt and the body size. 100% polyester and 100% rayon fabrics were chosen to compare the effect on the material type. The results from this study were as follows. (1) Both materials generally had similar trend of drapery (2) The difference of material influenced the shape and the amount of drapery. The amount of drapery in polyester was more than the one in rayon. (3) Rody size didn't significantly influence the shape of grapery. So it is concluded that material type is more important variable than the body size for the drapery.

The concerns over obesity and obesity-related health problems are increasing as many consumers relate these health problems with sugar. The demand for sugar reduction is also rising and regulatory movement by governments including Korea is driven to reflect such demand. For the past decades, there have been diverse development and marketing of various sweeteners to substitute sucrose and high fructose corn syrup. Low caloric alternative sweeteners can be divided into high intensity sweeteners that have greater sweetness potency compared to sucrose, and low intensity sweeteners such as polyols, oligosaccharides and rare sugars that have less sweetness potency. This paper discusses representative low caloric alternative sweeteners, their market and trend.
