In-situ 공정에 의한 복합솔더 제조 (Manufacturing of Composite Solders by an In-situ Process)

  • To improve the reliability of solder joints, a composite solder which consists of solder matrix and intermetallic reinforcements was manufactured by a new method. The cast ingot of Sn-6.9Cu-2.9Ag alloy had primary Cu6Sn5 intermetallics in the form of dendrites. After rolling the ingot, the intermetallic dendrites were crushed into fine particles and distributed uniformly throughout the solder matrix. As the rolled strips became thinner, the average size of the crushed particles reached a critical size which did not decrease any more by further rolling. The critical size was nearly the same as the average width of intermetallic dendrite trunk. The crushed intermetallic particles did not melt and remained in solid state during reflow soldering due to their high meltingterm-perature. The coarsening and gravitational segregation of the particles were observed during reflow soldering.

시멘트-아스팔트 모르터 충전재의 물성 (Properties of Cement-Asphalt Mortar Grout)

  • The Cement-Asphalt Mortar is a mixture of cement and asphalt emulsion, and is utilized as a grouting material for the railway track which is used to fill under-slab space so as to provide a stabilized track support and a tool for adjustment of track level. In addition, the cement-asphalt mortar is unique in that it can provide more resiliency to the track so that one can expect the impact mitigation. To develop the cement-asphalt mortar suitable for the requirements for track grouting material, this study have selected several mixture proportions which can satisfy those requirements and minimize the material segregation, and the properties of those mixtures, such as flowability(flow time), strength and the resistance to freezing-thawing have been tested. According to the test results, the cement-asphalt mortar well satisfies the requirements and it is found that the properties of the cement-asphalt mortar is suitable for the application to the railway track.

  • The plastic deformation behavior of cemented carbides is related to the WC grain boundary strength. Ab initio calculations predict that Co and Mn segregate to WC/WC grain boundaries. To experimentally study the effect of Mn, a WC-Co-Mn material was manufactured and compared to a WC-Co material. The microstructure was studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), including electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Special attention was paid to the WC grain size and the frequency of special low-energy grain boundaries. Mn was found to have negligible effect on both the WC grain growth and the fraction of $\sum2$ WC/WC boundaries in the as-sintered material.

  • The compression behavior of semi-solid materials in studied from a viewpoint of yield criteria and analysis methods. To describe the behavior of materials in semi-solid state, several theories have been proposed by extending the concept of plasticity of porous compressible materials. in the present work, the upper-bound method and the finite element method are used to model the simple compression process using yield criteria of Kuhn and Doraivelu. Segregation between solid and liquid which cause defect of product is analysed for Sn-15%Pb alloy is compared with the experimental result of Charreyron et al..

  • In recently, though the development of antiwashout admixture, if's possible to construct in underwater with the concrete which is improved segregation resistance of material, filling and self-leveling. It is generally to use this method with Europe and Japan as the central figure, and also the construction case is reported in korea. There's some advantages to add the fly ash in plain concrete. The objective of this study is to find the characteristics of fresh underwater antiwashout concrete which is followed by the blend rate of fly ash.

AE 감수제 과다첨가가 콘크리트의 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Over-Added AE Water Reducing Agent on Physical Properties of the Concrete)

  • This study is to investigate the influence of the over-added chemical agents, such as water reducing agent(WRA) and AE water reducing agent(AEWRA), on the physical properties of concrete to estimate the degree of damage due to over-added chemical agents. For the fresh concrete, slump and slump flow increased with the increase of WRA and AEWRA as expected. Material segregation phenomenon was observed with the over dosage of lignin based AEWRA about 4 times larger than recommended dosage. The over dosage of AE water reducing agent about 4 times larger than recommended dosage resulted in an increase of air contents remarkably. The set retardation occurred greatly with the increase of AEWRA and WRA. For the properties of the hardened concrete corresponding to the over dosage of AEWRA, it is found that compressive strength of over added AEWRA and WRA concrete are much smaller than those of base and recommended dosage concrete proportionally due to associated increasing air content.

Electrochemical stability of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ as a cathode for SOFC

  • Electrochemical measurement using a LSCF6428 electrode was performed to estimate the oxygen potential gradient in the electrode layer and a long time stability test was performed by applied potential to learn the overpotential effect on the LSCF6428 electrode. By fitting the observed impedance spectra, it was obtained that the amount of faradic current decreased with distance from cathode/electrolyte interface. Oxygen potential gradient was estimated to occur within 1 um region from the cathode/electrolyte interface at an oxygen partial pressure of 10-1 bar. The segregation of cation rich phases in the LSCF6428 electrode suggests that kinetic decomposition took place. However, impedance response after applying the potential showed no changes in the electrode compared with before applying potential. The obtained results suggest that segregation of a secondary phase in a LSCF6428 cathode is not related to performance degradation for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs).

  • Lightweight concrete is known for its advantage of reducing the self-weight of the structures, reducing the areas of sectional members as well as making the construction convenient. Thus the construction cost can be saved when applied. to . structures such as long-span bridge and high rise buildings. However, the lightweight concrete requires specific design mix method that is quite different from the typical concrete, since using the typical mix method would give rise the material segregation as well as lower the strength by the reduced weight of the aggregate. In order to avoid such problems, it is recommended to apply the design mix method of high performance self-compacting concrete for the lightweight concrete. Therefore, this study introduces a production of self-compacting concrete, PF-modified and improved version of Nan-Su's design mix method of self-compacting concrete. Through a series of test mixes conducted during the study, the quality of the concrete at its fresh condition has been evaluated per the 2nd class rating standards of self-compacting concrete published by JSCE, especially focused in its fluidity, segregation resistance ability, and filling ability.

산업부산물을 이용한 유무기 복합 자전거 도로 포장재의 기초적 특성 (The Fundamental Properties of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Packaging Materials for Bike Paths using Industrial By-products)

  • 본 연구에서는 산업부산물로서 고로슬래그 미분말을 이용하는 유무기 복합 자전거 도로 포장재의 개발을 목적으로 바인더 대비 아크릴 수지의 최적 배합 및 고로슬래그 미분말의 최적 치환량 검토에 대한 기초적 특성을 살펴보았다. 실험결과, 아크릴 수지의 비율이 증가할수록 응결시간은 지연되어 플로는 증가하고 재료분리가 발생하며, 강도는 감소하고, 길이변화율은 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 아크릴 수지의 최적 배합은 작업성을 유지하면서 높은 강도를 발현한 아크릴 수지가 40%인 배합이 최적인 것으로 판단된다. 또한 고로슬래그 미분말은 치환량이 증가할수록 응결시간이 지연됨에 따라 재료분리가 일어나 아크릴 수지와 바인더가 분리되고, 강도가 저하되는 경향이 나타났다. 고로 슬래그 미분말의 치환량이 40% 이하에서 목표 물성을 만족하였다.

레디믹스트 숏크리트 개발 I : 기초 연구 (Development of Ready-mixed Shotcrete I : Basic Study)

  • 레디믹스트(Ready-mixed) 숏크리트는 전문공장에서 원재료를 건조배합 형태로 생산하여 시공현장으로 운반 및 타설되는 재료로서, 확실한 골재 품질관리가 가능하며 규격화된 재료 사용으로 시공 품질 개선이 가능하다. 특히, 현장 배치플랜트의 축소 혹은 생략이 가능하기 때문에, 설치비용 절감 및 부지확보로 인한 민원과 환경문제를 해결할 수 있는 추가적인 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 숏크리트 성능 향상을 위한 방법으로 혼화재 및 급결제에만 국한되어 있던 기존 연구방향을 벗어나, 골재 자체의 품질 개선을 통해 숏크리트 성능을 향상시키고자 하였다. 기초 연구에서는 국내 숏크리트 시공실태 및 공급골재의 품질파악을 실시하였고, 현장실험을 통해 레디믹스트 숏크리트의 굵은 골재 최대치수를 8mm로 결정하였다. 또한, Pilot Plant Test를 실시하여 공장생산 공정의 재료분리 현상을 최소화 하고자 하였고, 현장실험을 통해 강섬유와 동일 수준의 휨인성을 발휘할 수 있는 합성섬유의 최적 혼입량과 고로슬래그 미분말의 최적 치환율을 도출하였다.
