$Ge_1Se_1Te_2$ 상변화 재료를 이용한 고성능 비휘발성 메모리에 대한 연구 (A high performance nonvolatile memory cell with phase change material of $Ge_1Se_1Te_2$)

  • Chalcogenide phase change memory has high performance to be next generation memory, because it is a nonvolatile memory processing high programming speed, low programming voltage, high sensing margin, low consumption and long cycle duration. We have developed a new material of PRAM with $Ge_1Se_1Te_2$. This material has been propose to solve the high energy consumption and high programming current. We have investigated the phase transition behaviors in function of various process factor including contact size, cell size, and annealing time. As a result, we have observed that programming voltage and writing current of $Ge_1Se_1Te_2$ are more improved than $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ material.

상변화 물질의 용융과정에 있어서 좌표변환을 이용한 온도분포의 해석적 연구 (The finite difference analysis on temperature distribution by coordinate transformation during melting process of phase-change Material)

  • An analysis is performed to investigate the influence of the buoyancy force and the thickness variation of melting layer in the containment that is filled with phase-change Material surrounding a cylindrical heating tube during melting process. The phase-change material is assumed to be initially solid at its phase-change temperature and the remaining solid at any given time is still at the phase-change temperature and neglecting the effect of heat transfer occuring within the solid. At the start of melting process, the thickness of melting layer is assumed to be a stefan-problem and after the starting process, the change of temperature and velocity is calculated using a two dimensional finite difference method. The governing equations for velocity and temperature are solved by a finite difference method which used SIMPLE (Semi Implicit Method Pressure linked Equations) algorithm. Results are presented for a wide range of Granshof number and in accordance with the time increment and it is founded that two dimensional fluid flow occurred by natural convection decreases the velocity of melting process at the bottom of container. The larger the radius of heating tube, the higher heat transfer is occurred in the melting layer.

  • Recently there has been many understood the basis device physics OLEDs and their basic operating principle. We demonstrate that there have many relation in order to improve luminescence efficiency both emitting light material physics characteristics and luminary. Efficient Electro Luminescence from organic materials was first reported in 1987 at Kodak. OLEDs emitting light material use tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)(Alq3). Sudied maximum luminescence efficiency about structure of optimized emitting light layer of OLED which do observing change of luminescence efficiency by structure change of organic material in this paper.

  • RC structures can deteriorate for many defective factors. In the repair and retrofit works of concrete, epoxy resins are widely used as repair materials. The object of this study is to investigate the material properties and durabilities of epoxy resins which are commonly used in repairing concrete. The material properties such as line-expansion modulus, viscosity, microstructure and physical parameter as well as the durabilities such as gravity change, tensile strength, elongation change were carried out.

  • The optogalvanic signals were measured using hollow cathode discharge tube with argon as buffer gas at change of discharge currents. A change of ionization rate due to electron collision causes an increase or decrease of the electric conductivity. This change in electric conductivity generates the optogalvanic signal. We conclude that optogalvanic signal has close relation with the lowest metastable atoms density at low current.

  • In a today industry, the welding is doing a many portion in structure manufacture. This study is simulated heat of heat-effected zone and researched a mechanical properties and ultrasonic characteristic in used the SS400 and the STS304. As the result mechanical properties of steel that become drawing decreased because of remaining stress by strain gardening according as simulated heat temperature rises, but according as temperature rises in material that do simulated heat after have done annealing, mechanical propensity was improved. The velocity and attenuation become different by effect of remaining stress than effect of material internal microstructure in ultrasonic wave test. In the case of STS304, there was change in mechanical properties by effect that is by strain hardening, but there was no change in material that simulated heat after annealing. When become drawing in ultrasonic waves test, according as simulated heat temperatures rise, change of attenuation coefficient is looked, but material that simulated heat after annealing was no change almost both the volocity and attenuation.

  • EL (electro luminescent) is generally studied as a large size plane light emitting device and flexible light source because of it's simple manufacturing process. In this experiment, we manufactured flexible white emitting light source using Ni-foil with blue phosphor and color change materials. With increasing the thickness of color change material, the luminance of white emission is increased and the color coordinate of white color was shifted to pure white of (0.317,0.328) by strong emission of color change materials excited by blue excitation spectra. Also the luminance level was 30% higher in white emitting light device than blue only light source.

  • PRAM (Phase change Random Access Memory) is one of the most promising candidates for next generation Non-volatile Memories. The Phase change material has been researched in the field of optical data storage media. Among the phase change materials $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$(GST) is very well known for its high optical contrast in the state of amorphous and crystalline. However, the characteristics required in solid state memory are quite different from optical ones. In this study, the structural properties of GST thin films with composition were investigated for PRAM. The 100-nm thick GeTe and $Sb_2Te_3$ films were deposited on $SiO_2$/Si substrates by RF sputtering system. In order to characterize the crystal structure and morphology of these films, we performed x-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM).

Polydiacetylene을 이용한 체온 측정 물질의 제조 (Preparing a Body Temperature Checking Material Using Polydiacetylene)

  • Considering the current COVID 19 pandemic, herein, we developed a material that can be used to fabricate a device for checking the body temperature of a person who has been exposed to influenza or corona virus. This material was formed by mixing pluronic F127 (F127) with a polydiacetylene (PDA) vesicle, which was formed with 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid. The color of the system started to change from blue to light purple at 37 ℃, finally turning reddish at 40 ℃. Thus, the developed material can be used to detect changes in body temperature, and thus, detect signs of fever. The mixing ratio of the PDA vesicle and F127 was an important factor for controlling the temperature at which the color change started. The results showed that the color change accompanied by the separation of the PDA vesicle with F127. We believe that this phenomenon plays an important role in reducing the conjugation length in the double and triple bond of PDA.

쇼트피닝에 의한 재료의 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the characteristics of shot peened material)

  • The effects of shot peening an the fatigue strength are studied in this paper. Applying the multistage shot peening on the material. the relation between the residual stress and fatigue strength compressive is investigated. Observing tensile strength elongation. reduction of area. hardness. and roughness. the results can be summarized as follows ; 1.The change of mechanical properties is small before and after the shot peening is carried out. The change of hardness is also small in high hardness material. 2.The surface roughness does not affect the fatigue strength. but the surface roughness is improved by multi-stage shot peening. 3.The fatigue strength of multi-stage shot peening material is 756MPa and is 1.78 times higher than that of un-peened material. 4.The maximum compressive residual strength of multi-stage shot peening material is -792MPa the fatigue strength seems to be improved by residual stress.
