Design criteria for birdstrike damage on windshield

  • Each aircraft have to be certified for a specified level of impact energy, for assuring the capability of a safe flight and landing after the impact against a bird at cruise speed. The aim of this research work was to define a scientific and methodological approach to the study of the birdstrike phenomenon against several windshield geometries. A series of numerical simulations have been performed using the explicit finite element solver code LS-Dyna, in order to estimate the windshield-surround structure capability to absorb the bird impact energy, safely and efficiently, according to EASA Certification Specifications 25.631 (2011). The research considers the results obtained about a parametric numerical analysis of a simplified, but realistic, square flat windshield model, as reported in the last work (Grimaldi et al. 2013), where this model was subjected to the impact of a 1.8 kg bird model at 155 m/s to estimate the sensitivity of the target geometry, the impact angle, and the plate curvature on the impact response of the windshield structure. Then on the basis of these results in this paper the topic is focused about the development of a numerical simulation on a complete aircraft windshield-surround model with an innovative configuration. Both simulations have used a FE-SPH coupled approach for the fluid-structure interaction. The main achievement of this research has been the collection of analysis and results obtained on both simplified realistic and complete model analysis, addressed to approach with gained confidence the birdstrike problem. Guidelines for setting up a certification test, together with a design proposal for a test article are an important result of such simulations.

만성 신부전 환자가 지각한 사회적지지, 자아존중감 및 절망감의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship of Perceived Social Support on Self-esteem and Hopelessness in Patients with Chronic Renal Failur)

  • This study was designed to identify the relation-ship of perceived social support on self-esteem and hopelessness in patients with chronic renal failure who are hemodialysis. The subjects of this study were the 50 patients who were registered in the hemodialysis department of the two hospitals. The data were collected using a questionnaire and The period of the data collection was from August 9 to 16, 1993. The instruments for this study were the perceived social support scale designed by Park Ji-Won, the self -esteem scale designed by Rosenberg and the hopelessness scale designed by Beck et al. The data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, t-test, ANOVA, and .Pearson correlation coefficient. The results are summarized as follows ; 1. The degree of support according to the type of perceived social support ranged down in the fol-lowing order from high to low the mean emotion-al support 21.12, the mean informational support 19.58, the mean appraisal support 17.00, the mean material support 15.22, the man self-esteem was 32.00 and the mean hopelessness was 60.48. 2. Test for hypothesis ; Hypothesis 1, "The higher the level of perceived social support in patients on hemodialysis, the higher their level of self-esteem will be. " was not supported(r=.05, p=0.74). Hypothesis 2, "The higher the level of perceived social support in patients on hemodialysis, the lower their level of hopelessness will be. " was supported(r=-0.53, p=0.00). 3. The relations between general characteristics and the level of perceived social support, self-esteem, and hopelessness ; (1) The 'Gender'(P=0.04), 'Occupation'(P=0.04), 'Education'(P=0.00), 'Married state'(P=0.00) 'Duration of Hemodialysis'(P=0.00) and 'In-come'(P=0.00) of the subjects were related to perceived social support and showed a statistically significant difference. (2) No general characteristics of the subjects were related self-esteem in a statistically significant way. (3) The 'Education'(P=0.00) , 'Income'(P=0.00) of the subjects were related to hopelessness and showed a statistically significant difference. Thus, it is concluded that social support must be included in nursing interventions for patients with chronic renal failure on hemodialysis.

통고산(경북) 일대의 자원식물상 연구 (A floristic study on the economic plants of Tonggo-san area(Gyeongsangbuk-do))

  • Tonggo-san(1066.5m) is located at 36° 53' 00" - 36" 55' 00" in latitude, at 129° 10' 30" - 129° 13' 00" in longitude and on Seo-myeon, Uljin-gun and Subi-myeon, Yeongyang-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Tonggo-san shows the typical vegetation patterns including the middle area of temperate region of Korea represented by the secondary forests of Quercus mongolica and Q. dentata. There was no detailed result on the flora and vegetation of Tonggo-san until now. Therefore, we tried to discuss on the distribution and availability of vascular plants including economical plants. Also, we could discuss the especialized plants and their distributions according to the criteria by the Ministry of Environment. The results of plant collection and their investigation from April in 2001 to November in 2001 are as follows : The vascular plants consist of total 565 taxa; 17 forms, 82 varieties, 466 species, 297 genera, 94 families,37 orders, 4 classes, 2 subphyla. In this area, there were a lot of useful economic plants such as 232 taxa(41%) of edible source, 222 taxa(39%) of forage source, 183 taxa(32%) of medicinal source, and 72 taxa(12%) of ornamental source, 15 taxa(2.6%) timber source, 7 taxa(1.2%) industrial raw material source respectively. Among them, the Korean endemic plants were 22 taxa(3.9% among total 565 taxa); 1 forms, 2 varieties, 19 species, 22 genera, 16 families. And rare and endangered plants was 1 taxa; Astragatus membranaceus. Also, the naturalized plants were 19 taxa(3.4% among total 565 taxa and 10.4% among the total naturalized plants in Korea).

농업부산물 사료화 이용 연구 (Studies on Feed Resources of Non-Conventional Agriculture Roughage)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of feed resources and collection system of nonconventional agricultural roughages, and reduction of environment pollution by turning non-conventional agricultural roughages to feed resources and diversification of feed supply. And a series of experiment were conducted to determine the effect of moisture control material on quality of sweet potato stalk, peanut stalk, barley straw, the experiments were conducted at Grassland and Forage Crops Division, National Livestock Research Institute, RDA, Suwon in 1999 and 2000. The results obtained from these experiments are summarized as follows; Acid detergent fiber(ADF), neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and total digestible nutrient(TDN) of sweet potato were 38.8, 50.7 and 58.2% in the control silage, but that of rice straw added silage for moisture control were decreased to 41.5, 50.8 and 56.1%. ADF, NDF, CP(crude protein) and TDN of peanut stalk were 42.2, 49.6, 10.5 and 55.6% on the rice straw added silage for moisture control, and there were not affected by barely straw added silage for moisture control. And ADF, NDF and TDN content of barely straw increased 42.8, 65.8 and 55.1% on the water+inoculants treated silage. The results of this study indicate that non-conventional agricultural roughages to feed resources should be make for silage at silo after dry matter percentage(ab0ut 35%) control. Also, rice straw added silage for moisture control will improve the silage fermentation and conservation. 대학생 과제보고서에 나타난 인용정보 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Citations in Undergraduate Papers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학술적 글쓰기에서 대학생들의 자료 인용 행태를 분석함으로써 대학생들의 자료에 대한 인식과 대학도서관 자료의 활용 정도를 측정하여 도서관의 성과를 측정하는 것이다. 서울 소재 대학의 학기말 보고서 공모전에 제출된 80편의 보고서에 인용된 자료의 유형과 도서관 소장여부를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 대학생들의 논문 인용에 대한 지식 수준은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 웹 정보에 대한 의존도(44.9%)가 높았지만 다른 유형의 자료, 즉 단행본, 학술지, 학위논문 등의 경우에는 대학도서관의 활용도가 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 대학도서관이 대학생들의 학술적 글쓰기 능력신장을 위해 수업활동에 적극적으로 참여하고 인용과 참고문헌에 대한 효과적인 교육자료를 개발하는데 힘쓸 것을 제안한다.

  • 전자상거래는 판매자와 구매자간 인터넷으로 거래가 이루어지는 형태이다. 전자상거래를 기반으로 현대 정보 기술 및 네트워크 기술, 금융 전자 수집, 관리, 정보 기술, 비즈니스 및 전체 무역 정보 네트워크가 용합되어지고 있다. 무역 활동의 과정가운데 전자화, 네트워킹 및 디지털화로 물류, 자금 및 정보류 등 새로운 무역이 출현되고 있다. 오늘날 전자상거래는 경제 구조를 변경하고 있으며, 21세기의 경제 발전의 중요한 추진력이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 온라인 쇼핑물의 차별화된 특징을 분석하고 구축함으로써 고객 구매력 증진을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 업무 프로세스의 차별화된 기획 및 구현된 여성사이트 개발에 필요한 과정을 중심으로 의류 사이트를 중심으로 전자상거래 구축, 작용에 관해 기술하였다.

생물자원의 관리와 정책 (An Introduction of Management and Policy of Biological Resources)

  • 본 연구는 새로운 국가자원인 생물자원에 대한 최근의 국제적인 이슈와 주요국의 정책의지 및 관리 체계 등을 살펴 본 것이다. 그렇지만 논의의 전개를 위해 생물자원과 관련된 이론적인 논의, 역사 등을 먼저 검토하였다. 생물자원과 관련된 최근의 이슈는 지적재산권, 보관과 배송의 안전과 관련된 국제규약의 강화, 생물자원의 생물학적 표준강화, 생물자원센터의 윤리문제 등으로 특징지어진다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 본고는 생물자원정책의 방향, 체계 및 내용을 간단히 권고하였다. 특히 범부처적 차원에서의 생물자원의 관리와 확보를 위한 종합 조정과 시스템 구축의 필요성을 강조하였다.

  • 연중 산란수의 6-8%가 산란시부터 소비자에게 이르는 사이에 파란으로 된다. 이들 파란의 대부분은 난각의 품질과 난각파열에 영향을 준다고 판단되는 여러 가지 생물적, 환경적, 관리적 요인들과의 상호관계에 의해 발생되고 있다. 이제까지 논의된 몇 가지 파란발생 요인들을 보면 닭의 연령, 계사의 온도와 습도, 케이지 씨스템과 케이지바닥의 설계, 케이지에 사용된 재료의 종류, 1일 채란회수, 그리고 가장 중요하게 각종 기구의 원활한 작동여부와 정비상태이다. 이 중에서 닭의 연령, 유전적 체질, 환경온도, 기구의 설계와 정비유지의 양부가 파란생성에 영향하는 중요 요인이라 하겠다. 난각의 품질과 난각파열 간에는 곡선관계에 있으므로 난각질의 조그마한 차이가 파란발생빈도에는 커다란 영향을 미치게 된바. 이제까지 보고된 문헌에 의하면 파란발생 빈도는 l-2%의 낮은 수준에서 35%의 높은 수준에 이르기까지 넓은 변이를 보여주고 있다.

패드부착장갑을 이용한 심폐소생술 질 향상 연구 (A Study on Quality Improvement of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Using Pad Attachment Glove)

  • 본 연구는 패드가 부착된 장갑의 유용성에 대해 파악함으로써 효과적인 심폐소생술을 제시하고자 연구를 시행하였다. 연구대상 및 자료수집은 G광역시에 위치해 있는 G대학교의 심폐소생술 강의를 이수한 응급구조과 대학생 50명을 대상으로 2019년 4월 1일부터 2019년 4월 30일까지 시행하였으며, SPSS /WIN 23.0 Program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 패드부착장갑 착용 전보다 착용 후가 가슴압박총점수, 가슴압박수, 가슴이완율, 손위치정확도, 압박속도 영역에서 심폐소생술 질이 더 높게 나타남에 따라 패드부착장갑의 착용이 기존의 맨 손 심폐소생술보다 가슴압박질을 더 향상시키는 것으로 파악할 수 있었다. 이는 향후 심폐소생술 교육의 기초자료로 활용 및 실무 중심 프로그램을 마련에 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

Ginseng Conservation Program in Russian Primorye: Genetic Structure of Natural and Cultivated Populations

  • 'The Regional complex long-term program of restoration (reintroduction) of Primoryes ginseng population up to 2005' elaborated by Primorye governor administration, Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Russian Academy of Sciences operates in Russian Primorye. The Institute of Biology and Soil Science (IBSS) provides the scientific implementation of this program including the genetic analysis of extant ginseng populations, plant reproduction and offspring identification. According to our investigations, the genetic resource of P. ginseng in Primorye is represented by three populations of wild-growing ginseng and a few private plantations. The results obtained by RAPD allowed concluding that this resource is dispersed among the wild and cultivated ginseng sub-populations in such a way that each of sub-populations studied has to be represented in living plant collection as a stock material to maintain species genetic variability. The allozyme analyses also showed that the small sub-populations of natural ginseng are characterized by unique genetic diversity and, therefore, they all need to be represented in reintroduction centers. Additionally the allozyme analysis discovered that the Blue Mountain and Khasan populations possess the most genetic diversity. So, at least one more reproductive ginseng unit has to be created besides two already existing reintroduction centers representing the Sikhote-Alin and the Blue Mountain populations.
