  • The purpose of this study is to design the adaptive speed control system of a marine diesel engine by combining the Model Matching Method and the Nominal Model Tracking Method. The authors proposed already a new method to determine efficiently the PID control Parameters by the Model Matching Method. typically taking a marine diesel engine as a non-oscillatory second-order system. But. actually it is very difficult to find out the exact model of a diesel engine. Therefore, when diesel engine model and actual diesel engine are unmatched as an another approach to promote the speed control characteristics of a marine diesel engine, this paper Proposes a Model Reference Adaptive Speed Control system of a diesel engine, in which PID control system for the model of a diesel engine is adopted as the nominal model and Fuzzy controller and derivative operator are adopted as the adaptive controller.

Panoramic Image Stitching Using Feature Extracting and Matching on Embedded System

  • Recently, one of the areas where research is being actively conducted is the Internet of Things (IoT). The field of using the Internet of Things system is increasing, coupled with a remarkable increase of the use of the camera. However, general cameras used in the Internet of Things have limited viewing angles as compared to those available to the human eye. Also, cameras restrict observation of objects and the performance of observation. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a panoramic image stitching method using feature extraction and matching based on an embedded system. After extracting the feature of the image, the speed of image stitching is improved by reducing the amount of computation using the necessary information so that it can be used in the embedded system. Experimental results show that it is possible to improve the speed of feature matching and panoramic image stitching while generating a smooth image.

  • A vehicle license plate includes the most important information for recognition and classification of the vehicle. In this paper, we propose a vehicle license plate recognition system using image binarization and template matching. In the proposed system, an image of the vehicle license plate is converted into a gray scale image and the gray image undergoes the binarization process. Finally, the numbers on the plate are extracted from the binary image using the template matching algorithm.

  • This paper implements a method that tracking the moving objects that detected by the motion detection function of the digital CCTV system. We simply implement the motion detection function of the digital CCTV system that use frame difference and thresholding. When motion is detected, the motion detection function generates two outputs. One output is the event that the motion is arised in input image frame. The other output is coordinate that motion is exists. Then, do the block matching algorithm[2] using coordinate, that motion is exists, as initial coordinate of the block matching algorithm. The best matched coordinate is new initial coordinate of the block matching algorithm for the next image frame. We simply use the block matching algorithm that implements tracking the moving objects. It is simple, but useful the actual digital CCTV system.

  • This paper is about design broadband impedance matching circuit for Coupler to improve power transfer efficiency in the power line communication (PLC) system. The Tchebycheff gain function algorithm is represented to design broadband matching circuit. A practical PLC Coupler impedance matching circuit is designed, and the characteristics for S11 and S21 of PLC coupler are enhanced comparing with unmatched one. This is done by maximizing the power transfer gain from modem to the load.

  • CRM 과 같은 전자상거래응용시스템에서 동일한 데이터의 중복이나 불일치는 종종 일어나며 이는 바람직하지 못하다. 데이터 품질 관리란 데이터들간의 비 일치와 중복을 발견하고 제거함을 목적으로 한다. 통상적인 데이터 품질관리 프로세스는 클리닝, 매칭, 통합의 세 단계를 거친다. 본 논문에서는 일반적인 데이터 품질 관리를 각 단계별로 필요한 연산자들을 정의한다. 특히 실제적 인 시스템 구현에서 필요한 매칭 단계에서 사용하는 거리함수와 매칭 알고리즘을 제안하며, 마지막으로 관련 연구를 제시한다.

실험실적 방법에 의한 Color CRT와 염색직물의 칼라 매칭 (Color matching of color CRT and dyed fabric by using experimental method)

  • The accurate representation of the colors of dyed fabric on a color CRT(cathode ray tube) screen is the basis for the automatic process in dyeing industry. In the former study, we had focused on the theoretically color matching method between CIE(International Commission on illumination) and RGB color coordinates, but In this study we tried simulating the colors obtained from fabrics on the color CRT by using experimental method. we obtained the following results. 1. We could simulate all of the color CRT by gamut mapping method, even though some of the KOSCOTE(Korea Standard Color of Textile) colors represented on the color CRT didn't exist in the region of color region 2. We could do conditional matching by CIE system, even though it was hard to do invariant matching the Red, Green, Blue phosphors of the color CRT because of the SPD(Spectral Power Distribution) which had been set up before. 3. We could simulate all the colors obtained from fabrics on the color CRT by matching those two color groups from KOSCOTE fabrics and color CRT using match algorithm and matching programs. 4. If we get over on obstacles by grafting CCM and CCK machines which have been used in educational and industrial areas by matching KOSCOTE with color CRT we will be able to invent color simulation system controled automatically.

임피던스 직접 정합 방법에 의한 Rectenna 시스템 소형화 설계 (Compact Rectenna System Design Using a Direct Impedance Matching Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 고조파 공진 억제 특성을 갖는 원형 섹터 안테나와 임피던스 직접 정합 방법을 이용하여 소형화된 rectenna 시스템을 설계하였다. 원형 섹터 안테나의 고조파 억제 특성을 이용하여 정류 회로의 대역 통과 여파기 기능을 수행하였으며, 임피던스 직접 정합 방법에 의해 다이오드 정합 회로를 생략하는 설계가 이루어졌다. 따라서 제안된 시스템의 정류 회로는 대역 통과 여파기와 정합 회로 없이 구현되었으며, 정밀한 동축 급전 공정을 사용하여 시스템의 성능 열화 없이 급전 위치를 변화하며, 안테나 뒷면에 집적하였다. 최적의 정합 특성으로 2.5 GHz 대역에서 설계된 rectenna 시스템은 실험 결과, 52 % 이상의 변환 효율과 1.5 V 이상의 우수한 변환 전압 특성을 나타내었다.

유방암 진단 시스템을 위한 정합 액체의 전파 특성에 관한 연구 (Study of Microwave Propagation Characteristics of Matching Liquids for the Microwave Cancer Detection System)

  • 본 논문은 피부를 포함하는 유방 모델에서 정합 액체의 전파 특성에 관한 연구 내용이다. 정합 액체의 분석을 위해 6개 타입의 정합 액체를 제안된 1-D 유방 모델에 적용하여 3~6 GHz의 주파수 대역에서 분석 연구를 수행하였다. 균일한 평면파가 1-D 유방 모델 내부의 복합 매질의 경계면에 입사되어 반사/투과되어 나타나는 전파 특성과 각 정합 액체의 전송 선로 손실을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 연구한 방법은 유방암 진단 시스템, 인체 조직을 이용한 암 진단 분야 및 기타 의료기기 분야에 활용될 수 있으며, 본 논문에서는 유방암 진단 시스템에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 향후 유방암 진단 시스템에 적용될 적절한 정합 액체를 선정하고, 성능을 분석하는데 유용하게 적용될 수 있다.
