한류문화정책에 대한 시스템사고의 적용 (A Studying Hallyu(Korean Wave) with Systems Thinking)

  • This paper attempts to provide a more complete acknowledging of Hallyu(Korean Wave), using systems thinking. The central concept is understanding how all the objects of Hallyu(Korean Wave) in a culture system interact with one another. What it attempts to do is understand the feedback loop of Hallyu(Korean Wave) with other country culture, and thus understand the behavior of mass culture agent it make produce. This works is for public management and policy in culture industry and leading culture itself. And alternative policies that alleviate the problem, and implements this solution at Hallyu(Korean Wave) continuance.

기수산 물벼룩 Diaphanosoma celebensis의 안정 배양을 위한 배양 용기의 크기 선택 (Selection of Culture Scale for Stable Culture of an Estunrine Cladoceran Diaphanosoma celebensis)

  • 전세계의 담수역에 널리 분포하는 Daphnia나 Moins와 같은 담수산 물벼룩은 잉어, 붕어, 금붕어와 같은 담수어의 종묘 생산과정에서 먹이 생물로서 널라 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 해산어의 종묘 생산 과정에서는 안정 배양, 대량 배양이 어렵다는 이유로 로티퍼나 알테미아 이외에 널리 이용되는 먹이 생물은 거의 없다. 이 연구에서는 해산 물벼룩보다는 비교적 배양이 용이한 기수산물벼룩 D. celebensis의 배양 용기의 크기가 안정배양에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 종 보존 배양 수준의 40ml 배양에서는 16일간의 배양 기간중 14일째에 최고 밀도가 3.416$\pm$0.396 ind./ml에 달하였다 1,500ml와 15,000ml의 준 대량 배양에서는 각각 배양 개시후 12일째와 21일 째에 14.2$\pm$2.122 ind./ml와 2.489$\pm$1.618 ind./ml의 최고 밀도가 관찰되었다. 그리고 실험 기간중 배양의 안정도를 평가하기 위하여 실시한 세가지 배양 수량간 상대적 개체군 증식 지수 (RPGI)의 비교 결과에서는 1,500ml의 배양 용기에서 가장 안정적인 증식양상을 보였다. 뿐만 아니라, 매일 수확 가능한 기수산 물벼룩 D. celebensis의 개체수를 계산한 결과에서도 (possible harvesting number/ind./ml/day) 1,500ml의 배양 용기에서 가장 높은 3.567$\pm$0.607ind./ml/day가 수확 가능하였다. 한때 필요성에 의하여 담수산 물벼룩을 해산어의 종묘생산 과정에서 먹이생물로 이용한 시기가 있었다. 그러나, 앞으로는 기수산 물벼룩을 해수에서 배양하여 해산 자치어의 먹이생물로 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The strategies of commercial development have been focused on the economy of scale for a process. The design of media has been recognized as a key in assuring mass production of entomopathogenic nematodes. Media optimization was conducted with insect host, proteins, lipids, and symbiotic bacteria mass. G. mellonella (insect host) produced about 290,000 infective juveniles per one. Complex media produced about 250,000 infective juveniles / ml in liquid culture within 8 days (one generation).

  • The inauguration of the collective Reality and Utterance (Hy$\breve{o}$nsil kwa Par$\breve{o}$n) in 1979 and 1980 marked a watershed moment in Korean art. This is not only because the collective gave birth to the politically-engaged art movement that would come to be labeled "Minjung Art" by the middle of the 80s, but also because it enthusiastically embraced a wide range of images from the urban culture. With a special focus on the members' early work, my research explores an issue largely neglected in the dominant narrative of Minjung art as a form of activism against the authoritarian Korean government during the 80s. The issue is what was at stake in Reality and Utterance's exploration of contemporary urban visual culture. The aim of this essay is to recognize the engagement with the urban visual culture as central to the group's early project and to consider it at some distance from the anti-urban and anti-mass culture perspective which was endorsed by the Minjung narrative. Focusing on members' turn to urban visual culture, this essay instead argues that this turn was by no means merely a means to making art as social critique, but more importantly, it was an experiment with the shared image world, as opposed to the rarefied visual vocabularies of abstract modernism. Visual productions such as advertisements, billboards, posters, and kitsch paintings, which come from outside the narrow confines of fine art, were definitely ominous signs of the colonization of everyday life in the capitalist city, but at the same time they were anticipated to be a catalyst for redefining Korean art in a more communicative, accessible, and democratized way. In this regard, in the early 1980s-in particular 1980 and 1982-the members' gesture oscillated between critique and embrace, which allowed the group to occupy a unique domain in the realm of Korean art production.

대중매체에 나타난 교복디자인 연구 (A study of School Uniform Design in the Mass Media)

  • A school uniform has established it as youth culture and an important fashion cord which exposes adolescents themselves under the influence of TV and movies. Moreover as adolescents use TV and radio ads and Internet as a main source to purchase a school uniform, their effect on adolescents' school uniform fashion increasingly grows. The purpose of this study is to analyze design characteristics and chronological changes of school uniform design of high school girls and provide basic materials to develop school uniform design and predict adolescents' fashion trend. The scope and subjects of the study were limited to TV drama and movies which were shown from 1996 to 2010 and had high school students as their main characters based on youth culture. The analysis materials were photos of 50 school uniforms collected from TV soap opera, movies, web sites, DVDs, and Internet. First, the changes of a school uniform, the mass media and youth culture, and a school uniform in the mass media were reviewed through previous researches and literature review. Then, a form, color, and materials were classified to analyze the Dsign Characteristic. Finally, the changes were examined chronologically.

A low computational cost method for vibration analysis of rectangular plates subjected to moving sprung masses

  • A low computational cost semi-analytical method is developed, based on eigenfunction expansion, to study the vibration of rectangular plates subjected to a series of moving sprung masses, representing a bridge deck under multiple vehicle or train moving loads. The dynamic effects of the suspension system are taken into account by using flexible connections between the moving masses and the base structure. The accuracy of the proposed method in predicting the dynamic response of a rectangular plate subjected to a series of moving sprung masses is demonstrated compared to the conventional rigid moving mass models. It is shown that the proposed method can considerably improve the computational efficiency of the conventional methods by eliminating a large number of time-varying components in the coupled Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs) matrices. The dynamic behaviour of the system is then investigated by performing a comprehensive parametric study on the Dynamic Amplification Factor (DAF) of the moving loads using different design parameters. The results indicate that ignoring the flexibility of the suspension system in both moving force and moving mass models may lead to substantially underestimated DAF predictions and therefore unsafe design solutions. This highlights the significance of taking into account the stiffness of the suspension system for accurate estimation of the plate maximum dynamic response in practical applications.

환수 및 공기공급에 따른 담수산 rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus의 내구란 대량생산 (Mass Production of Resting Eggs by the Freshwater Rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus Pallas with Exchange of Culture Water and Supplemental Aeration)

  • 본 연구는 통기방법과 배양수의 환수에 따른 담수산 rotifer B. calyciflorus의 내구란 형성을 조사하였고 0.5 톤 수조에서 내구란 대량 생산을 수행하였다. 산소와 공기를 공급한 실험구에 있어서 rotifer의 최고밀도와 유성생식률은 차이는 없으나 수정률과 내구란 형성은 공기를 공급한 실험구가 산소를 공급한 실험구보다 높게 나타났다. 배양수의 환수간격에 따른 실험에서 환수를 하지 않은 실험구가 rotifer 최고밀도와 내구란 형성은 환수를 한 실험구(매일 환수한 실험구)보다 높게 나타났지만 내구란 생산의 효율적인 측면에서 Chlorella 건조중량당 내구란 형성은 환수를 한 실험구(매일 환수한 실험구)에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 0.5톤 수조에서 내구란의 총 생산량은 $51.8{\sim}57.9{\times}10^6$개로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때, 공기를 공급한 batch 배양이 담수산 rotifer, B. calyciforus의 내구란을 대량생산하는데 효과적인 방법인 것으로 판단된다. 또한 이종의 내구란 대량생산은 해수산 rotifer B. plicatilis와 B. rotundiformis와 비슷한 생산 효율을 보인 것으로 판단된다.

Growth Characteristics of Ultrahigh-density Microalgal Cultures

  • The physiological characteristics of cultures of very high cell mass (e.g. 10g cell mass/L), termed“ultrahigh cell density cultures”is reviewed. A close relationship was found between the length of the optical path (OP) in flat-plate reactors and the optimal cell density of the culture as well as its areal (g m$\^$-2/ day$\^$-1/) productivity. Cell-growth inhibition (GI) unfolds as culture density surpasses a certain threshold. If it is constantly relieved, a 1.0cm OP reactor could produce ca. 50% more than reactors with longer OP, e.g. 5 or 10cm. This unique effect, discovered by Hu et al. [3], is explained in terms of the relationships between the frequency of the light-dark cycle (L-D cycle), cells undergo in their travel between the light and dark volumes in the reactor, and the turnover time of the photosynthetic center (PC). In long OP reactors (5cm and above) the L-D cycle time may be orders of magnitude longer than the PC turnover time, resulting in a light regime in which the cells are exposed along the L-D cycle, to long, wasteful dark periods. In contrast, in reactors with an OP of ca. 1.0 cm, the L-D cycle frequency approaches the PC turnover time resulting in a significant reduction of the wasteful dark exposure time, thereby inducing a surge in photosynthetic efficiency. Presently, the major difficulty in mass cultivation of ultrahigh-density culture (UHDC) concerns cell growth inhibition in the culture, the exact nature of which is awaiting detailed investigation.

Proteome Analysis of Waito-c Rice Seedlings Treated with Culture Fluid of Gibberellin-producing Fungus, Fusarium proliferatum KGL0401

  • Fusarium proliferatum KGL0401 was previously isolated from Physalis alkekengi var. francheti plant roots and exhibited a high GA productivity. A gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis of extracts of the culture fluid of F proliferatum KGL0401 also revealed the presence of $GA_1$, $GA_3$, $GA_4$, $GA_7$, $GA_{20}$, and $GA_{24}$. Therefore, the present study conducted a proteome analysis of waito-c rice treated with the culture fluid of the isolated F proliferatum KGL0401 to identify the protein expression triggered by the GA-containing culture fluid. The results revealed the overexpression of 180 protein spots in the sample treated with the culture fluid. Among them, 75 induced proteins were selected and analyzed by MALDI-TOF (matrix-assisted laser desorption-iorrization time-of-flight) mass spectrometry, followed by database searching, and 51 proteins were identified.
