  • Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, many countries have made the obligation to wear masks normal. Wearing masks in public places has become a must. At present, wearing a mask to participate in sports makes it very common. People seek to gain health through exercise but ignore the potential respirato-ry health threat. That is, wearing a mask will cause a decrease in oxygen content in the body. This neg-ative impact becomes more prominent as the wear-ing time and oxygen consumption increase. To pro-tect people from viruses and enjoy a healthy life. This paper proposes a breathing pattern that im-proves blood oxygen saturation while wearing a jogging mask and walking. Namely, shouting breathing pattern. Use a pulse oximeter to measure the blood oxygen saturation of running at different speeds and compare the normal breathing pattern and the shouting breathing pattern. The results show that the shouting breathing pattern has a sig-nificant improvement in the blood oxygen satura-tion of low-speed walking and medium-speed jog-ging.

  • This study attempted to compare and analyze the commercially available multi-use patterns to develop mask patterns suitable for the face types of adult women. Through this, it was intended to provide necessary data to mask pattern development and products. As a results of comparing the dimensions and shapes of commercial multi-use mask patterns, there was a significant difference in dimensions even though it was a L-size mask manufactured for adults. As a result of the appearance evaluation of the virtual outfit, there were significant differences by design in the vertical of the center front line, the cover and space of the mask, the height of the nose, and the lower part of the mask. The side also showed significant differences in the covering of the side of the face, the space of the side, and the width and length of the string. As a result of the appearance evaluation, Mask 4 received the best evaluation. The shape of the mask pattern had a large dart in the lower part of the nose so that it can cover the three-dimensional shape of the face, but there was a difference in the degree and angle of the curve depending on the mask. Although the upper part of the mask, the lower part of the mask, and the cheek part are in close contact, the evaluation of the mask pattern, which has room in the nose and mouth, was high. It is thought that the mask pattern should be set according to the upper length, lower length, and nose height of the mask through analysis of the face shape and dimensions.

  • In ROI processing of JPEG2000, a region of large image indicated by the user must be processed preferentially, because it takes a considerable amount of time to display the full image. When the user indicates a region of the outlined image, then the browser masks the region and sends the mask information to the server that transmitted the outlined image. The server that receives the mask information preferentially sends the corresponding code blocks. Here, a quick generation of mask information is important. In this paper, we use 48 predefined mask patterns, which are defined according to the distribution shape of ROI and background to reduce the computing time. As a result, compared to other methods that precisely handles the ROI and background, the processing time of the method is remarkably reduced, but the quality is short of the existing methods just a little bit.

  • Video object segmentation is a significant task in computer vision, but its performance is not very satisfactory. A method of video object segmentation using weakly temporal information is presented in this paper. Motivated by the phenomenon in reality that the motion of the object is a continuous and smooth process and the appearance of the object does not change much between adjacent frames in the video sequences, we use a feed-forward architecture with motion estimation to predict the mask of the current frame. We extend an additional mask channel for the previous frame segmentation result. The mask of the previous frame is treated as the input of the expanded channel after processing, and then we extract the temporal feature of the object and fuse it with other feature maps to generate the final mask. In addition, we introduce multi-mask guidance to improve the stability of the model. Moreover, we enhance segmentation performance by further training with the masks already obtained. Experiments show that our method achieves competitive results on DAVIS-2016 on single object segmentation compared to some state-of-the-art algorithms.

  • For a reliable fingerprinting system, improving fingerprint matching accuracy is crucial. In this paper, we try to improve a binary image fingerprint matching performance by utilizing auxiliary information, power mask, which is obtained while constructing fingerprint DB. The power mask is an expected robustness of each fingerprint bit. A caveat of the power mask is the increased storage cost of the fingerprint DB. This paper mitigates the problem by reducing the size of the power mask utilizing spatial correlation of an image. Experiments on a publicly-available image dataset confirmed that the power mask is effective in improving fingerprint matching accuracy.

  • We developed the tension mask of which thickness increased from 25 urn to 50 urn to reduce the mask cost and improve the vibration property. First of all, the limitation by which rail structure can support is calculated and the optimal thickness of mask is determined. To prevent the reduction of brightness and brightness uniformity, the dimensions of mask was reassigned. As a result, the increase of mask thickness brought about a reduction in cost and improvement of howling property which had been a weak point of flat CRTs.

  • In this paper, face recognition algorithm, by using skin color information of HSI color coordinate collected from face images, elliptical mask, fratures of face including eyes, nose and mouth, and geometrical feature vectors of face and facial angles, is proposed. The proposed algorithm improved face region extraction efficacy by using HSI information relatively similar to human's visual system along with color tone information about skin colors of face, elliptical mask and intensity information. Moreover, it improved face recognition efficacy with using feature information of eyes, nose and mouth, and Θ1(ACRED), Θ2(AMRED) and Θ 3(ANRED), which are geometrical face angles of face. In the proposed algorithm, it enables exact face reading by using color tone information, elliptical mask, brightness information and structural characteristic angle together, not like using only brightness information in existing algorithm. Moreover, it uses structural related value of characteristics and certain vectors together for the recognition method.

  • In this paper, we describe an automated extraction program that transforms a mask layout into an approximated equivalent circuit information suitable for circuit simulation, and that extract the geometric parameters of stacked MOSFETs and the distributed RCs of layout blocks. To extract equivalent circuit from mask layout, we propose new block disassembly technique capable of accurate computations of distributed RCs at branch point, using vectorized edges which represent the outline of an individual polygon.

  • It is an important issue to detect automatically whether a mask is worn or not for corona prevention. It is known that mask wearing detection can be solved by learning the face data set. However, the search for whether a person is wearing a mask can be detected in a simpler way using OpenCV. In this paper, we describe that it is possible to easily detect whether a single person is wearing a mask or not with a general PC camera using OpenCV learning data results and simple OpenCV functions. Through experiments, the proposed method was shown to be effective.
